"Come down, and get on with your work!" said one of the officers, glancing behind her.
Yuan Xi got off the vehicle. She didn't see any of her friends around. But she could guess where they were, so she grabbed a basket, carried it on her back, and headed for the plantation.
The two officers watched Yuan Xi's back until she was getting further and further away.
Yuan Xi finds her friends in an apple orchard. As soon as they saw Yuan Xi's presence, they rushed over to her.
"Mrs. Yuan, are you feeling better?" asked Vivian.
"They should have let you rest," Naomi snorted because Yuan Xi was still pale. "Cursed them all!"
"Stop nagging," Cinnong shook her head.
"It's okay," Yuan Xi smiled. "I'm better now."
Fraya came over and directly pressed the back of her hand to Yuan Xi's forehead. That's right, it doesn't feel hot anymore, she thought.
