Who do you serve?, Beginning Mana Cultivation

Three months quietly passed. Creed during these time all his energy had been spent on reading all kinds of books, Biographies, History , Politics, Alchemy and all the likes except for Mana Cultivation, Spells and Martial Techniques. The time's he left his courtyard could be counted on two hands. Creed also discovered that his talent improved the more he used it as now he could see more than the talent but now he could see people's bloodlines and physique.

According to his original plans this was the time he was fit enough to secretly start cultivating but before that a very important conversation had to be held between him and Code. For the sake of secrecy this had to be done and if Code was not the right person a change in plans would occur as he would then look for another servant who could keep his secrets. Creed couldn't afford any third parties knowing about his current behavior since he was sure that if he could cultivate ,he himself would be able to hide it from his parents due to his talent so he had to prevent any leaks.

Inside his study Creed called out for Code to enter and offered him a seat. Code was bewildered by his young master's attitude today but he still went forward and sat on the chair. The room became strangely quiet as time passed both men stared at each other, a few moments later Creed spoke "Code what we are about to talk about must never leave the confines of this room, do you understand?, To make sure that the both of us are on the same page you will have to swear a vow on your soul with the heavens as witnesses." Code was stunned as he heard his young master who seemed to have turned to a completely different person.

"Yes I understand." with that Code made a vow and patiently waited.

"I will only ask this once ,Code who do you serve??".

Immediately after asking the question Creed silently stared at him without even a change in expression. Code was shocked at first but he quickly recovered and pondered over the young masters question. Code could be considered an old fox as he was a powerhouse at the peak of the Imperial Rank ,so he understood what type of question his young master had asked. He knew that right at this moment he had to pick a side . After carefully mulling over his thoughts he slowly stood up and went on his knees and said "Code greets the Young LORD!".

Code decided as such because his instincts told him that this was the opportunity he was waiting for, the fortune that could open his nearly closing path to open again. A chance to rise, Yes this was it. He had been observing Creed for the past three months and could see that things weren't as they seemed and his Young Lord appeared to be frail and scared but that was just a persona to satisfy the world ,one thing remained a mystery though what could he be planning that he even decides to hide it from his brethren??.

GOOD! GOOOOD! GOOOOD!

Creed stood up from his seat and couldn't help but exclaim good three times as things were now starting to slowly take shape.

"This is a choice that you will never regret Code. " said Creed as he took out a needle and stabbed his thumb. He then motioned for Code to open his mouth as his blood slowly dripped from his thumb and was swallowed by Code. Golden blood essence slowly flowed out of his thump as his face paled and he slowly stumbled to his right to support himself by the table.

Code had no idea what was happening around him as a mystical feeling spread around him and a golden cocoon seemed to form around him. His body was undergoing changes and he was entranced by that feeling, after a full minute the sensation ceased and he regained his senses .He was frightened to find his Young Lord pale and weakly but Creed told him it will pass and he should check his gains. Code was shocked to discover that his talent and comprehension had improved, also his bottleneck loosened a little bit. His respect for his young lord grew and when he turned to look at him he seemed to be exuding an unfathomable aura that shrouded him in mystery.

Before he could offer his thanks Code issued him his first missions "Listen up and receive your orders. From now on Code shall cease to exit and you shall become my Shadow. Clean up everything about you and make sure that you disappear ,only I and my parents should know that you exist. When you are done I want all the rank 1 to 5 spells, mana cultivation techniques and martial techniques from the Imperial Library, use my fathers token to access and copy all of them for me. Lastly I want all the information about the young heroes of this world and everything about the major powers and for the major powers from now on I expect daily and weekly updates. "

"Starting from now on your most important task is to clean up any traces that I leave behind and flaws, making sure that my presence in the world becomes known only when I want to, lastly I hereby grant you the title ,Sequence Zero". Creed finished speaking as he weakly went back to his seat.

Zero immediately cupped his hand together as he disappeared in a flash to carry out his missions perfectly. Another step was taken as the seas of destiny churned and rivers of time flowed bearing witness to another step taken forward by a being that would rise to shock many whom his legends will spread across myriad worlds.

A month flashed by as on one unassuming day Zero returned having completed his missions bringing forth Creed to take another step forward, Mana Cultivation. When he handed put of all his missions Creed told him to report later about the major powers and young heroes. He sorted out all the cultivation techniques ,spells and martial techniques into their original categories, then he took out all cultivation techniques for Rank 1 which numbered around hundred copies.

The cultivation realms were namely RANK 1-5(having 9 sub realms),KING, IMPERIAL, SAINT,EMPEROR and the SUPREME Realm (divided into low ,mid ,high ,peak). RANK 1-5 were the beginning stages of mana cultivation and one could only be considered a true powerhouse after entering the King realm. What Creed was trying to do now was enter the first rank which was commonly known as the Body Tempering realm, were a person used mana to slowly temper their skin, bones, meridians and organs making their bodies in permeable to mana. Important as it could help anyone when they reach Rank 2(Mana Absorption).A perfectly tempered body will increase the speed at which a person absorbed mana coupled with their affinities it was giving wings to a tiger.

Creed spent a whole month comprehending the mana cultivation techniques as he slowly absorbed their essences to create his very own tempering technique. With his talent < Omnifarious Comprehension> the technique slowly took shape in that whole month and he named it <Nine Revolutions Dual Eternal Sovereign Scripture>. One thing that Creed was happy about was that whilst he was comprehending Rank 1 cultivation techniques he came across a note that said that for the Body Tempering realm there were many more stages after the ninth and it depended on ones talent to reach subsequent stages. When he asked Zero about it and did his own research he found out it was indeed true and the highest known stage being 54, with this he was determined to reach its limit no mater what.

"Code watch the door I am going to start cultivation from now on and I don't any mishaps." "Yes Young Lord" as he happily made his way to keep guard outside the courtyard. Code could now be considered numb to Creed's shocking deeds, he couldn't help but recall the last time he saw him create the KING rank cultivation technique,<Nine Revolutions Dual Eternal Sovereign Scripture >.

Immediately Creed sat down cross legged in a lotus position as he slowly breath in and out with each passing moment the inhales became longer and longer as something magical started to happen. Different colored dots started to appear around as they became denser and more colorful lighting up the whole room. These were elements that existed within the air as they slowly flooded towards him.

The amount of mana gathered by Creed was like a raging river as it slowly formed a vortex around his body, Code seeing this was left mouth wide open and eyes threatening to leave their sockets.
