Cloud and the others, were walking slowly while taking care of those present, without noticing how a group was slowly approaching their location.

"Run" - Cloud said seriously as he could feel how the creatures that were approaching in their direction were much stronger than his group.

"Run?" - Ponzu repeated in surprise, only to open her eyes in surprise when she felt the bees inside her cap, start to get upset - "Run!"

"!" - the villagers didn't think twice, they quickly grabbed the children and left them inside the carts they were using to move everything, and ran as fast as they could, though the elders were not as lucky, though by their expressions they were accepting of this.

Pokkle was silent for a few seconds before looking at the elders and making a decision.

Pokkle watched as the girl retreated in annoyance, unable to say anything to him, after all, this was her decision.

His two companions decided to stay with him as they watched the girl withdraw along with the young men.

"Thank you" - said one of the elders as he saw how not only Cloud was staying, but also the other young men.

"Don't thank us, we're just doing our job" - replied Pokkle as he indicated for them to keep walking.

He wasn't lying with this, he had heard rumors of a strange and huge insect arm that was to appear at the cancelled Yorkshin auction, and that it had been found at a location near Yorkshin. As an [Exotic Beast Hunter], this had interested him, after all, he had not heard of such a large insect, but now that he was in this place and had heard the situation, he knew that this abnormal growth was not from natural causes, but from the fault of a scientist, which made the insect not so interesting, though none of that mattered now that he was in danger.

The hunters slowly walked alongside the elders, when they heard something approaching from the right.

"I see you left the older ones" - said a strange creature that seemed to be a penguin - "Normally we would attack without thinking, but as someone civilized, I promise you that if you surrender, your deaths will be a quick and painless ones."

"Peggy, let's just get this over with" - Meleoron said as he looked at one of the few commanders he respected, and although he didn't understand why, he felt at ease with his colleague.

"As intelligent beings, we have to give them a chance to surrender" - replied Peggy civilly.

"Just, let's get this over with" - said a humanoid turtle - "We have to go back to the queen to prevent trouble."

"Queen?" - Pokkle repeated in surprise as he looked at the creatures in front of him.

Each and every one of them looked very different from the others, but despite this, they seemed to come from the same colony.

"Don't talk too much. Turtle" - said Meleoron neutrally - "But you have a point."

"What are you guys?" - Pokkle asked with a slight fear growing inside him.

"It doesn't matter what we are, you just have to answer Peggy's question" - said Meleoron as he narrowed his strange eyes - "Are you going to give up and die a quick death, or are you going to resist and do it the hard way? Personally I prefer the latter, so at least we'll have the thrill of the hunt."

Peggy didn't say anything else, he was just waiting for his prey's response.

"Let's fight" - Pokkle answered seriously while his companions nodded firmly, after all, by fighting they would have a chance to live, although Pokkle didn't think so, in fact, he knew they were dead. He was only fighting so as to give Ponzu and the other villagers more time to escape these things.

"I guess you guys don't want to accept my good will" - muttered Peggy as he along with the others, prepared to attack - "By the way, I recommend you not to belittle us just because of our appearances, because we have the middle rank in our colony".

Cloud continued to observe the surroundings with growing irritation - "Well, I guess I'll just have to take them out on my own."

The blond quickly disappeared from the place, leaving no trace, surprising the commanders who could only look around in search of their prey, and at least it was so, until they heard the shout of one of their companions.

"Yunju!" - Colt exclaimed in surprise as he saw his comrade's head roll, only to be met after a few seconds by the sound of something chewing along with a cold voice.

"It tastes strange, like it's a combination of many things" - Cloud muttered with a frown as he felt a slight human taste, something that honestly didn't bother him because it wasn't the first time he consumed human flesh - "What are you guys?"

"That question could be asking me" - Neferpitou said as she appeared in an uncovered area.

"Me? I'm just a simple human looking for answers" - Cloud said normally.

"No human would do what you did, not only did you kill my subordinate, but you also consumed his flesh directly" - replied Neferpitou, who sincerely felt that she was talking to an equal, or at least a creature with a similar biology to her own.

"Humans are more complex than they think, there are some who even consume their own children" - Cloud replied calmly as he appeared a few meters away from Neferpitou with a narrowed gaze - "But let's put aside the complexity of the human species and talk about your species.
