CHAPTER 5: New Secretary

The manager came and told everyone to go to the waiting the room. All female staffs were told to sit down according to their ranks and so they did.

The first, second, third and fourth person went in and came out but with no luck.

Sarah was the fifth person to go into the CEO's office. She stood there looking nervous, her hands were shaking, her heart was pounding hard. As her eyes darted around, she noticed the office was arranged with a masculine vibe.

The shelves were filled with books, the paint used in the office was a dark grey color.

The glass windows were tinted, one could see the outside world but people outside could not see the inside, with dark blue drapes flowing to the ground.

She was still looking around nervously when she saw him "The CEO".

He was emitting a cold, dark, lonely and scary aura that made the hairs on her back stand up.

She was unconsciously looking at him, when his voice reverberated in the room.

"Sit down. Or you are better off standing?" He said coldly.

The moment he said that, she shivered slightly and quickly sat down.

"What are your qualifications? or rather why do you think you are the person for the job?" He asked

She gave her answers to every question he asked.

"Leave my office now, we are done here." He said

"Okay sir. But… dI'd I get the job?" She asked

"That is for me to know. Now leave" he said coldly.

After Sarah left his office . The manager said "next" and over twenty females came in and out of the office all of them with sad expressions. It was finally Victoria's turn . She went inside the room with the manager following her in. Her eyes first went on the interior masculine design of the office until her eyes landed on the man sitting on the office chair.

Alexander Blackwood's sharp eye noticed the newcomer's features while he was in the chair . He stood up from the chair and started walking not stopping until he was in front of her , he scrutinised her before his feet brought him forward until he was directly in front of Victoria .

Victoria's eyes widened seeing the man shoes almost below her whilst she bent her body to bow. "Why is he standing in there ? Did I make a mistake? But I haven't even said a word". She could feel her muscles tighten,afraid of what was happening.

"President , this is another candidate for the role to be your secretary ". The manager gestured as she introduced Victoria.

Curious , she slowly lifted her head to take a look at the man stopped in front of her . When she met his silvery eyes, she gulped in amazement. "Him , how is it ...… ,how di...…..". He had an expressionless face but those eyes ... those were some fierce looking eyes. Why ...… why is he looking at me like that?" Is it because of that night?

"End the interview now,she will be my secretary" he said with a smirk . " You can leave now " . He did not give them room nor chance to say a word and just like that they ended the interview and ordered every female back to their respected departments.

The moments they left, he grabbed her with his large hands and pushed Victoria against the wall. He held her hand firmly beside her hand while his other hand rested on the side of her face, trapping her in a corner as he towered over her. "What are you doing ? Let go of me!!!!!!"she bit out.

With a smirk on his devishly handsome face, he stared at her clear eyes as if he were challenging her ."What a coincidence isn't it ? We meet again".

Surprised by the forceful antics of the man in front of her . Victoria,furrowed her brows as she blurted " President, please let me go ".

Alex eyes twitched upon hearing her response. "What? "Pres .....I .....dent ". He scoffed." Victoria is this how it is now". He didn't know why he was so angry when she called him so formally ". "Laughable , I will not let you go until you address me by my name.

"This is sexual harassment!!!!! If you don't let me go this instant , I will scream !!!!" She threw a fierce gaze at him . His grasp wasn't painful but it was enough to keep her from moving.

Feeling annoyed,a chuckle escaped from Alex, making Victoria swallow . His laugh sent shock waves to her body , making her feel like her insides were melting. " No matter how much you shout in here, Victoria gasped and was unable to move as she watched his sexy parted lips coming closer . Closing her eyes , she managed to raise her leg and kneed him in the groin.

"Ugh" Alex instantly let go of her.

Feeling his weight off of her, Victoria did not waste time and scrambled her way out of the office, leaving Alex in the office surprised. Although he managed to dodge her but he was still surprised " she is very strong to be able to do that " . Cause he still felt pain in his groin a bit.

Victoria closed the door behind her as soon as she got out . She was out of breath with what had happened.

"Miss Nightshade"? Manager Kim who was still confused about the turn of events was still confused was unsure of what to ask . " What's going on?"

Adam who stood at the side and looked at the woman who just came out of Alex 's office and that's when he saw that she looked like the woman he had met yesterday . " Was that the reason boss did that"?

With a serious face, Victoria marched towards Mrs Kim and snapped " I am not going to work for a pervert like him!!!!!! I quit !!!!!" She stomp her feet toward the elevator and disappeared.
