Chapter 24: The Sand

We don't have far to explore before we're stopped at a stone wall. I look around at the tunnel, about as ordinary as the others we've explored, while Blossom crosses her arms over her chest and glares at the short end of this one.

"Now what?" She kicks at the stone under her feet, irritation amusing if we weren't in a precarious situation. Though it appears we're not under any kind of threat that we can see or sense.

"Go back?" Fleur's musical voice sounds disappointed, too. Her big eyes blink in the dimness while she hugs herself with her long, slim arms, something she seems to do frequently. What comfort does it bring her? "Perhaps this particular prison has as yet to be stocked with its resident."
