Leon realized that they would be wasting time if they remained gloomy.
Hence, he decided to continue the talk and finish what he was trying to say.
"So Leo, you don't actually have to free any beast soul."
"Rather, since I am there in the soul realm, whenever you absorb any soul power, I will just eat it."
What Leon meant by that is, since Leo hadn't eaten a separate beast heart to exactly awaken Leon, the increase in Leon's soul power wouldn't necessarily affect Leo's level.
Leon would act like a different dimension, storying all the soul power that would enter Leo's body.
Of course, in the future, if Leo did end up eating a beast's heart to awaken Leon, and actually bond with him, then he would have explosive growth, skipping many levels directly as Leon would have accumulated a lot of soul power by then.
Leo wasn't particularly happy when he heard that. He wasn't sad either.
