Everyone stayed in their small hut-like houses which were made up of mud and covered with wood and branches. No one dared to go outside as they knew of the event that was happening.

In this world, everyone is born with a beast soul. However, only those who have suitable beast souls can train themselves to become cultivators.
There are mainly three types of beast souls – Wild-type beast souls, Pet-type beast souls, and Farm-type beast souls.
Within these three categories, many other forms are included.
Regardless, when one trains his beast souls, they slowly get stronger.
There are eleven ranks in total – Beast Cultivator, Beast-Warrior, Beast Knight, Beast Commander, Beast Supreme Commander, Beast General, Beast Supreme General, Beast King, Beast Overlord, Beast Supreme Overlord, and Beast God.
The difference between a human and a beast is their appearance. Everything else is the same. Because of this, humans were able to train using the power of the beasts.
They would gain levels and become stronger with their powers to fend them off and fight against their foes.
The way to get the power of the beasts is to kill them and then eat their hearts. The beasts store their powers in their hearts. Their soul power and their mental strength, all get accumulated in their heart after their death due to which, their heart beats longer and stays alive even after their death.
Because of this, when a cultivator kills a beast and eats its heart, they will experience an increase in their power levels.
The one who has killed the beast will be the only one who can gain their powers. To others, the beast would be just a delicacy and nothing more.
But this doesn't mean that one can hunt and eat the hearts of a beast whenever he desires. There is a certain moment only when one can do that, and that is when one has reached the peak of a rank.
When one starts cultivating, their Beast Soul will be at level 01, this is the only time when one can eat a beast's heart and once he does, his beast soul will awaken. This would make him a beast cultivator.
Then, when the person reaches level 10, he would be at the peak of the rank Beast Cultivator. He can now hunt another beast and eat its heart with which, he will be able to continue training and increase his power to level 11. Unless he eats the beast's heart, he would be stuck at the same level for eternity.
So this means, the Beast Supreme Overlords are within the range of level 91-99. Yes, the ones who break through this barrier are termed Beast Gods. For a thousand years, no one has become a Beast God!

"Auntie, I have a question!", the boy raised his hand along with his voice.
"Ah, yes Leo.", the lady turned her attention towards Leo.
"I want to know about the two Supreme Overlords that are fighting.", he said.
"Ah!"
"Of course, let me tell you about them."
The two Supreme Overlords that were fighting in the sky were from different tribes.
One of them was Level 91 Supreme Overlord who had the Beast Soul of Volcanic Kong, while the other Supreme Overlord was at level 93 with the Beast Soul of Sky Tiger.
"They are very strong."
"Their attacks are so powerful that we normal people cannot stand in front of it."
"That is why, we are all staying inside.", she said.
"But if we stay inside, won't we die if the walls collapse?", Leo asked.
