The missing grunt

Grunt was looking at her laptop researching some stuff and said, "So, I can't use that item doesn't exist...that I know of. I ought to look into that."

Liara thought after a yawn, 'Grunt, what are you muttering?' She moved a bit to get comfortable and saw Zaraki laying on his side near the crib.

Grunt said, "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you. I was just researching how to make an Avatar. I would try to use the shadow clone but, no Chakra so...I gotta research other methods."

Liara thought, 'Right, you did say you were stuck there. So, what is it that you think doesn't exist here that you need?' She was actually curious about what she needs for this.

Grunt said, "Elemental stones or cores, according to one book I read, they are rocks or gems that have absorbed a type of elemental energy like fire, thunder, water, earth, wood and gold. In your world, it most likely will have nothing to do with wood or gold. Though, I have to do other research to see if I can use other methods."

She yawned and stretched in her room, "Anywho, I am going to bed before I work more on my little project. So...I am not going to be able to be contacted for at most eight hours. I will set an alarm to wake me up when you need me."

At that, Liara went back to sleep, she was pretty sure that she wouldn't need her anyway; her being a baby and all. She did hear Grunt typing some before Grunt put herself on mute.

In about eight hours, Liara tried to contact Grunt but, got no response. Which, was weird cause, Grunt would usually answer her. A letter then fell onto Zaraki and he read it, "My queen, this says that your tutor was sent on a mission and won't be back for a while. It was signed by someone named Kronos."

Liara showed a surprised look, "That can't be right, according to her own account, except for some hereditary handicap she's as strong as a normal person. Logistical or intelligence support I would get but, I don't think she'd be able to fight."

Zaraki shrugged not really saying anything else since, all he wanted to fight. He tucked her in before going back to acting like a sleeping lion.

Liara thought, 'If you were on a mission, why'd you not tell me?' She looked outside before studying the system to see if she could find other clues.
