Soul Land -Auxiliary System

Ning Rongbing, son of the former princess of Nine Treasured Glazed Tile Clan awakened a degraded martial spirit and was kicked out of the family. Along with his mother, he went to a different city and started to improve himself as a soul master to slap the faces of everyone who despised his mother about his birth. This was a fanfic of the novel Douluo Dalu by Tang Jia Shan Sho. The theme of the story follows the first series of the Douluo Dalu with some of my own elements. The world setting of this story was based on the donhua version of the novel: Soul Land and was dated to the years between the first and second books of Douluo Dalu. This was my first time writing fanfic so please forgive me for any mistakes and please help me improve myself with your comments and reviews. Chapters will be uploaded once every two days. Thanks for your support. You can also support me with a power stone as a token of appreciation. Thank you have a nice day.

She is Familiar

"Ah!"

With a loud shout Ning Rongbing woke up from his sleep. His breath was heavy and erratic. Pulling his knees towards his chest he covered his face in his lap.

The face of the woman named Lina appeared before him again and again. The image of her getting killed stabbed his heart which he couldn't bear any more. It felt very real that he also seems to feel a sense of familiarity with the woman. Her tender words and her charming smile made his head hurt in confusion.

Tears started to form in his eyes and they flow down like an endless stream. He tried to wipe them out but they seem to overflow and his emotion started to become unstable.

Suddenly he felt a hand on his back. It was graceful and gentle and doesn't emanate any hostility. It made him calm and gave him assurance as he wasn't alone. Mild energy seem to radiate from the hand and it made him very calm. He was familiar with this... without raising his head, with a dull tone he apologized:

"I am sorry!"

The hand on his back started to move towards Ning Rongbing's shoulder. A familiar tone filled the space.

"Is it the same dream?" Ning Rongrong's voice was heard.

"Mm..." he answered without raising his head.

"Don't worry it's just a dream. Mommy is here with you. Alright?" she said in a sincere tone and extended her hands to raise Ning Rongbing's head. A pair of dull eyes filled with tears seeing her tenderness and care.

"Mother!" Ning Rongbing fell into her arms and started to describe what he saw and what he was afraid of. The loving mother she is, Ning Rongrong quietly listened to everything he said and slightly raised her brows.

This wasn't the first time to hear him say this but the thing is, every time he told him a story of the same person but of different events. Last time he told about a battle that happened in the wilderness with a beast. Before that, he told about a person named Yuven meeting a girl named Lina.

The person named Yuven seem to always appear in his dreams and it was the same person too. Before she could understand and come to a conclusion Ning Rongbing was telling her the person who appeared in his dream was dead. Confused she started to ponder about this.

It can be seen clearly that this person named Yuven was a foreign name. Not only him but the other names such as the clans and other things. They were very alien to her. Not trying to deceive her son with some supernatural stuff as she know he wasn't stupid enough to believe her anyway, she started to discuss the facts with him.

She even raised her concern that Yuven was an otherworlder. Unable to find anything they both slept halfway through the discussion. But she clearly remembered Ning Rongbing saying:

"She seems to be too familiar with me."

In the morning when the sun started to raise, Ning Rongbing woke up from his bed and saw that his mother was still sleeping. He remembered everything happened and smiled at her. Moving towards her he adjusted the blanket covering her and stood there watching her face. He was really grateful to her. He had felt many sufferings in his clan but she was always there for him. Even more importantly, his sufferings were worth nothing compared to what she suffered.

Taking a long breath, Ning Rongrong is determined to give a peaceful world to his mother. He still remembered clearly when she confronted her father, the old man from the clan she seems to be arrogant to shout: "kill me first" but Ning Rongbing clearly knew how feard she was. Since she was holding him in her embrace, Ning Rongrong remembered her back was drenched in a cold sweat.

From that day on he was very much determined to not let anyone bully his mother anymore. No one should. Not even his grandfather. What if he is a Soul Douluo? I will become a Titled Douluo.

Thinking of this Ning Rongbing sat cross-legged on his bed and started to cultivate. It just went like every day.

When Ning Rongrong woke up from her sleep she found her son cultivating on his bed. Seeing his determined face she saw another silhouette and her face slightly dulled. Smiling to herself Ning Rongrong stood up and went to do the chores.

The house they were in now wasn't very large. It was just enough to fit two people. Ning Rongrong clearly knew that even if she could find a safe place inside the Star Lou city it wasn't safe enough for her to not be spied on by the clansmen of Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan. Knowing this she found a desolate place that was very calm without many human influences and decided to stay. It was a small house on the mountain in a corner of Star Lou city.

It should be a common day of cultivation for Ning Rongbing but suddenly he felt something was off. He clearly understood the nature of his spirit. It was a variant spirit of _Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda_ and its spirit energy should be very docile but why does his energy seem to be very strong?

Even if he wasn't very experienced he still understood many things thanks to being a clan member but somehow he felt his energy wasn't comprehensive. It felt very oppressive and sharp. Just like the energy released by his grandfather.

Thinking of this he started to ponder about his grandfather and his sword energy. He clearly remembered he despised his sword energy being not pure but he couldn't remember why he said that. It was as if he didn't say that but a mysterious force spoke from him. He didn't even realize he had been distracted but before he could realize what would happen a strange white luster started to emanate from his left hand.

Clearly giving a sense of danger the white glow in his left hand started to glow brighter. Feeling pain, Ning Rongbing couldn't bear it anymore and subconsciously responded with loud growls.

Hearing the screams coming from the room where her son was cultivating Ning Rongrong rushed into the room. When she came into the room she felt an oppressive force inside the room around her son.

The air around him started to distort and the bright luster on Ning Rongbing's left hand started to gather in his palm. Seeing the scene Ning Rongrong opened her eyes wide...

"This is..."
