"I agree," Rama said, grimacing as he still felt a sharp pain in his head. After a few moments, that pain transformed into a throbbing ache.
'The Supernatural Perception isn't strong enough to analyze that Supernatural...' Rama recalled the text he had seen earlier. It clearly indicated that the Supernatural was beyond his capabilities.
Even with Alysia, David, and Arsa present, Rama was certain they would only become corpses in that mysterious room.
"Why didn't the Supernatural chase us?" David said, looking back into the corridor with a pale, frightened face.
"Maybe it didn't intend to kill us," Alysia said. "The Supernatural seems more like a guardian. It won't threaten us unless we venture too far."
She remembered how the Supernatural had even let them escape without any signs of wanting to attack. Alysia also recalled how the Supernatural had gazed at her as she ran, its eyes glowing with a clear orange light amid the room's radiance.
