Force Stome Discovery

"I found something". Shouted one of the prisoner miners digging through the wall.

His yell drew the attention of the guards as well as the prisoners that heard him. Me included.

The guard got to him and yanked off what was in his hand. He observed it and then passed it on to the next guard.

"Is it real?". Asked the guard as he handed over the shiny object to his colleague.

"It's the real deal".

The guard made a thorough observation of it before he responded to his colleague's question.

He raised the object for all the prisoners to see, including those who were not close to them.

"Do you all see this? This is what we want you to dig for. Anything other than this is unnecessary, and the more of it you dig, the larger a portion of food you will be given".

It was an enticing offer because they hadn't fed us at all since getting here.

The object was shiny, glistening a rainbow-like colour with multiple patterns embedded into them.
