"You run away screaming when someone so much as sneezes," Sonic remarked. "Get over yourself!"

"Excuse me?" Buck asked, turning to Sonic.

"Well, yeah. You have no place to say anything," Sonic snarked. "Maybe you should consider what you'd do in someone else's shoes."

"Hey, I don't know if you know who you're talking to!" Buck snapped. "You're just some pathetic hedgehog, and I'm a deer. You are beneath me."

Sonic nearly laughed. This guy was so full of himself. Well, so was Sonic, but he at least had the right to be full of himself. He had saved the world who knows how many times, and this guy was just a complete loser who would run away screaming from overpriced chili. Sonic was about to respond with something horribly mean, though perfectly deserved, when Sonja turned around.

"Boys, please..." Sonja groaned. "Aren't there better things you can be doing than fighting?" With this, Sonic and Buck eyed each other. Buck had hatred in his eyes, while Sonic had the most snide look in his eyes.
