Prologue

Staring at the night sky, I heaved out a sigh. My warm breath turned into mist in the cold air. The warm beer can felt good in my hand. The moon was full and I wondered if it felt as lonely as I did. It had many stars around it but it's the matter of eye. I could see the moon and the stars together but in real, they are millions of distance apart. Maybe the moon wasn't lonely after all. It seemed bright every night. Maybe it was better off alone.

My heart tingled at a flashback. His voice came as a ghostly whisper...

'I am the moon and you are the earth. We are not meant to clash together. We talk every night but that's it. We are not meant to be together.'

A chill ran down my spine and a lump rose in my throat. I tried to swallow it down as I always do but in that moment of solitude, where no one could see me, I broke down.

'Kwan...everything is so uncertain. Should we still be going on like this?'

'Yes...'

Some things just doesn't heal at all, we just learn to live with the pain.
