After some time, Angel finally dared to ask Christ if he wanted to do something dangerous, and before she could finish, he had sprung up from his lawn chair and threw his fists in the air, "Hell yeah!" He said in enthusiasm as he rushed inside to get his equipment. But what he didn't know was how risky the assignment would be.
When I came back outside, I followed Angel to a strange house. It wasn't abandoned clearly. The shutters were shut, but the lawn was clean and freshly mowed. I chuckled a bit, "What are we going to do here? Ding dong ditch? because if so I ju-" But before I could finish, Angel pressed her finger against my lip and told me to, "Pipe down." As a man in regular attire with a briefcase walked out and to his car. I looked at him, then became suddenly alarmed when I saw it was Mr. Smith getting ready to head to work for Saturday school, "Woah Woah, Woah." I whispered, "what the hell are we doing here?!" "We're going to break in." she hissed back as Mr. Smith started his car and drove off, allowing his music to play him out.
"W-what?? what is with you, Angel?!" "You said we should find out what happened, right? So we're going to, now come on." She ran over to the house and opened the gate, bruising the poor grass under it as she walked up to the door and began picking at the lock with a bobby pin. I waited nervously behind her, continuously checking if anyone was watching us. Something about Angel's attitude and determination bothered me. Maybe I was just tired or caught off guard. Before I could finish my thought, she opened the door. Walked inside and immediately went through the little credenza that waited for your belongings. I sighed and started looking too.
It wasn't long before we stumbled upon Smiths' office and found some evidence, what to do with it we didn't really know. Angel Gathered it in her bag as Christ fixed everything to make it look like nobody was home. She rolled her eyes as she walked out Buzz, Buzz. Her phone went off once again, it was a different number this time, but all the same chills 'Good job, hope to see more of what happens next. Keep me posted ;)' Angel stuffed her phone in her pocket and waited for Christ at the door. "Tomorrow will be hell," she mumbled as she locked the door and went her separate way back home.
