Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 117- Fifth Floor: Fool?

A battle against the strongest was what he was here for. And the look in his eyes clearly told Gojo that Haru was not joking here.

The origin of the boy remained a mystery and also the power that transported Gojo from the prison realm was something that the Six Eyes possessor couldn't fathom.

He was not forced to train Haru, rather he himself felt compelled to teach him. And now, the same boy was standing here, to go out there and fight the most formidable foe known to mankind.

"I am not aware of your strength, but the challenger you have chosen for yourself is not someone to play around with," Shoko suggested in an uncaring tone, but for someone who knows her closely, Gojo knew she was concerned about Haru's intentions.

"Indeed, as she said; Sukuna might be the last opponent one might want to face," Panda commented while he stood at a height where he couldn't be seen until Haru didn't lower his head.

Gojo remained silent in this whole argument (well, if it's called an argument) and awaited Haru's response.

Haru was kind of surprised to see people who were nothing but strangers to him, getting concerned about him.

Was it because Haru called Gojo his teacher or were they simply just pitying someone who wants to challenge the King of Curses?

Regardless, Haru was moved because of their concern but he didn't waver from his intention as he told them,

"Fighting Sukuna is not my choice but my last option. I am thankful for your concerns but my circumstances don't allow me to remain seated here."

Haru spoke with a soft smile lifting the edges of his lips as he looked at Shoko and bowed slightly in gratefulness.

No one said anything after that. Yuji seemed to be wanting to say something but he stopped himself.

His eyes were so expressive and so were his actions that Haru didn't need to verify how worried the pink head was for Haru. Another protagonist he met within three days and kindness was a virtue they both shared.

"So you have decided huh..." Everyone turned to look at Gojo who rested his hands on his waist and looked at Haru with a serious expression.

Haru nodded to his teacher, only to raise his brows when suddenly, Satoru raised his left hand and connected his two fingers against Haru's head.

Naturally, Haru has removed his Infinity, or being near Gojo could have created an effect that might have seriously injured many people around them.

"Last time, I didn't teach you everything....here, the last missing pieces..." As Gojo said, some information suddenly began to pour down Haru's memory lane, becoming a part of his mind and inscribing over his mindscape.

'Phase....twilight....ah....' It took a moment for Haru to understand what these chants were however, when he did, he knew what he could achieve with these few words.

Once Haru was done instilling every last piece of information he bowed in front of the man before thanking him, "For everything you have done, I am truly grateful."

The sincerity in his voice made Gojo smile as he ruffled Haru's hair and responded, " Don't sweat about it. Rather, tell me about your plans. How are you gonna defeat that ancient one? "

It was clear, about whom Gojo was referred to as 'ancient' which made Haru chuckle as he raised his head and spoke casually,

" I will surprise him with my skills about which he is surely unaware of and get done with it. Ah, and..." Directing his gaze towards others, he spoke, "Even if I die out there, do not interfere. Please."

"Whatever." Maki crossed her arms and snickered, clearly not even intending to help out the literal stranger

Yuta wryly smiled before he assured, "We will respect your wish and will pray for your victory. "

Haru was satisfied by the reaction as he saw some of the people already dispersed around; not interested in what he had to say. From their perspective, Haru must seem like some delusional fool who would get slaughtered by Sukuna in no time.

Haru didn't bother with them any longer and bid his farewell, "Alright then, watch me."

Saying so, Haru disappeared from his previous spot using teleportation.

'...he has gotten better. ' Gojo raised his brows as he heard someone calling out for him,

"Gojo-kun... won't he need enhancement?"

It was Utahime, who asked. Naturally, having the cursed technique to support other sorcerers and the one who was originally going to help Gojo against Sukuna, she was unsure whether she should help.

However, Gojo shook his head and said something that quelled her conflicts,

"Don't bother...it will only hinder him in one way or another." Gojo knows his students' strengths and weaknesses...and someone like Haru should be left isolated to see his best version.

"Gojo-sensei...will he be really alright?"

Hearing Yuki's question, Gojo grinned before he declared,

"Don't worry; after all, he is a student of the strongest."

'Ah...it's such a mess...' Appearing on barren land with no populace in a five hundred meter radius, Haru muttered to himself.

He could sense the strong presence of two entities not from so far away.

Haru knew one of them was Ryomen Sukuna. The malice he could feel from him was incredibly condensed. Although Sukuna wasn't radiating any residual CE, Haru's keen observation allowed him to know Sukuna's exact location.

'How should I do this...' Although he told Gojo that he would surprise Sukuna with unknown skills, Haru wasn't sure his sword skills could be of any benefit against Sukuna—given his opponent's monstrous physical stats.

Sukuna had a high battle IQ. He has lived through several generations, acquiring numerous experiences and facing a variety of foes. It would be nothing less than annoying once Sukuna loses Mahoraga and begins pulling some ancient techniques about which Haru was unaware.

'But...is there any escape from this?' Taking a deep breath, Haru collected himself before taking the fighting stance.

'Come forth: Ittou Shura. ' Summoning his blade, he was about to launch a massive slash across the buildings and pave a path towards his opponent...however, the moment he summoned the blade an impending sense of doom overwhelmed Haru.

"Hupp!!" Jumping from his spot to his diagonal, he found two massive slashes, carved on the spot where he stood a moment ago and the building behind Haru now parted in two.

"This much delay for a brat? Disappointing."

As the cloud of dust cleared the figure of a tall man with black hair and strange marks over his face appeared in Haru's vision.

Haru narrowed his gaze before replying, "I hope you are not just a big-mouthed fool like Gojo-sensei said."

Sukuna smirked at that before he adjoined his fingers and verbalized something ominous,

"Ryoiki Tenkai: Fukuma Mizushi."
