CH-17. JOB CHANGE QUEST-2

Creak, creaaaakkk-!

The door to the boss room finally opened.

The interior was completely shrouded in darkness.

But with Jinwoo's higher senses and great eyesight, he can see the room clearly.

The floor was covered in stone tiles.

The ash-coloured tiles, laid with no visible gaps in between, gave off this feeling of heaviness and barren chill.

As soon as he set foot on this floor….

Whooosh!

Countless torches lining up the walls lit up all at once and illuminated the interior.

Seeing the tirches lighting up Jinwoo started walking, a few steps later, the door issued a loud bang and closed shut behind him.

SLAM!!

"I can feel it a strong and worthy opponent".

Jinwoo said with a wide smile as he sensed a strong presence which he already knew, but still he was excited because for the first time he can go all out against an opponent without holding back anymore.

He the turned towards the throne and there he saw.

From the gap between stone pillars, a big red metal knight came with a long sword in its hand and stood before the empty throne with a name hovering over its head in red colour.

[BLOOD-RED COMMANDER IGRIS]

Seeing it Jinwoo was excited thinking that this guy is going to become his summon very soon.

Then Igris started to advance towards him, seeing this Jinwoo clenched his fists tightly.

'My dagger won't work on it anyway.'

What was needed in defeating a knight was blunt force. He needed Strength to overwhelm it and he has that overwhelming strength.

Seeing Jinwoo standing without any weapons Igris first quietly observed him for a while, before it abruptly took off his red cape.

It proceeded to take off the longsword on its hips, and the two daggers hidden behind its back, and dropped them all to the ground.

"It looks like you want a fair fight huh". Jinwoo said seeing it's actions which he already knew that it was going to happen.

Clang, clang…

The interior of the boss room had been quiet until then; the loud clangs of the metal hitting the stone tiles reverberated noisily throughout this vast chamber.

Igris finished discarding all of its weapons, and as if to imitate Jin-Woo, clenched its fists and got into a fighting stance.

"Come let me teach you a lesson". Jinwoo said and also took a fighting stance.

CRACK!

Seeing it Igris dashed towards Jinwoo with lightning speed.

Igris closed the distance in the blink of an eye, and leapt up into the air. Once flying, the thing stuck its knee out and aimed at Jin-Woo's face.

'It's fast but not fast as me'.

However, Jin-Woo had been ready as well, his own movement speed pushed to the extreme. He bent his back almost 90 degrees and let Igris attack brush past him.

Jin-Woo then rapidly stood back up.

Quite unlike other knights that needed some distance to stop after their tackle had failed, Igrit simply landed on the ground without much fanfare.

Kung!!

Seeing this Jinwoo with a speed which even Igris couldn't follow completely, he diagonally kicked its head with a great force.

BOOOM

The kick was so fast that Igris couldn't block it, when the kick connected to his head his helmet broke in half and it got shot towards the wall.

"Hmm it looks like I have really became badass". Jinwoo said with a happy look while seeing Igris who came out from the hole which was formed due to the collision.

Then Igris again vanished from his place and dashed towards him but this time in zig-zag motion and appeared in front of Jinwoo and landed a punch on him.

Seeing this Jinwoo raised both of his arms instinctively to guard himself.

CRACK! CRACK!

When the attack landed on his hands the land below him and Igris broke like a glass but Jinwoo only get a little damage.

If he wanted he could have dodged the attack but he wanted to see just how much strong his defense is and that's why he took the attack head on.

Because, Igris had already appeared right in front of his eyes.

Even before he had the chance to do something about it, Igrit's left fist powerfully slammed into Jin-Woo's left cheek.

SLAM!

When the fist landed on Jinwoo's face he bend a little and some blood came out of his face but there was a smile on his face.

"Alright now it's my turn". Jinwoo said and landed a punch with dark blue energy covering his eyes on Igris, sending it fly towards the throne with a loud sound.

BOOOOOOOOM

When the punch landed on Igris chest area, cracks formed on all over it's armour.

"lets finish it, I have confirmed how strong I am". Jinwoo said and then he appeared in front of Igris sword and lifted it easily, resting it on his shoulder.

CRACK!

Igris stand up while breaking some bricks and then looked towards Jinwoo who had a smile on his face.

Before Igris could do anything Jinwoo with full speed dashed towards it while breaking the ground with the force.

He appearrd in front of Igris and lifted the sword upwords and then with great strength he sliced Igris from head to legs in one move.
