Chapter 6

It's 7:20 in the morning and I'm on my way to training ground 4. As I leave the Uchiha compound, I keep thinking on how weird it is living with someone who has the exact same face as me.

If this goes on, I doubt even itachi would be able to tell us apart. Well, I'll leave that thought for a later date.

I'm wearing a blue high collared shirt with the Uchiha crest on the back. My shorts are black with a pack of some of my ninja tools strapped to my thigh. Bandages are wrapped around my legs from my calves to the soles of my feet which are covered by my dark blue shinobi sandals. The bandages on my arm are tied from my palm to just below my elbow.

I took the inspiration from Itachi when he was in his genin days. I have to say, it's comfortable.

I reach the training ground but there are only two people there. Himari and Kaito. It's seems like they've been here for a while.

The moment I touch down, they turn to me.

Kaito: You're late!

This is the first time I'm getting a good look at my teammates. Kaito has shoulder length light brown spiky hair with black eyes. He's fairly tall.

My other teammate, Himari. She also has light brown hair which are braided into twin pig tails. She has dark brown eyes and her hair is two shades lighter than Kaito's.

Kaito: Oi say something. Don't just stare like that, it's creepy.

He squirms under my gaze. I ignore him and walk away to sit down leaning on the trunk of a nearby tree.

The girl approached me while dragging the boy by the ear.

Himari: I think we started off on the wrong foot. Why don't we all use this chance to get to know each other before sensei arrives.

Izuna: You're wasting your time.

Himari looked offended. Kaito immediately shoots up and starts yelling. Honestly if I had my way, is cut his tongue off.

Kaito: You jerk! She's just trying to be nice and you're being a prick about it. Why can't you-...

I interrupt him as his voice is getting really irritating. And also I'm tired of waiting.

Izuna: You're wasting your time because sensei's already here. Isn't that right sense.

I spoke without my gaze leaving Kaito. From behind me, Yamato jumped from the tree to the ground with a soft landing. He had a small smile before he spoke.

Yamato: How long did you know I was there.

Izuna: The moment I arrived.

Yamato clapped his hand before turn to Kaito and Himari.

Yamato: Now lets move on to the survival test. It isn't really much of a survival test.

He said that while shrugging his shoulders.

Yamato: You three are going to fight me one-on-one. If you can show me that you have the skill to become genin, then you pass.

Here Kaito and Himari we're shivering because of the aura that he's releasing. Surprisingly Himari wasn't trembling as much as Kaito.

Yamato: And there is also one thing I'd like to add. If one of you fails...all of you fail.

With this new rule...if you can call it a rule even I'm starting to sweat. Sure I can get through this easily, but what if one of them fails.

Kaito and Himari have it worse than me. Their visibly shaking. I couldn't help bu shake my head.

'They want to lose before it even starts. *sigh* If we are going to be on the same team, we need to at least have a decent relationship.'

I silently walk behind them and whisper in their ears.

Izuna: Calm down. If you panic now, you'll end up messing up.

I continue walking as if nothing happened, but I can feel their gazes on my back.

I look at them through the corner of my eyes and I see that they have considerably calmed down.

Kaito: I'll go first.

He stepped forward confidently. Yamato regarded him for a moment before nodding.

Himari and I walk a good distance from their fight. We didn't want to get hit by any stray tool or jutsu.

Yamato and Kaito could be seen standing in front of each other. Kaito with a shuriken in hand and Yamato with a hand in his pocket.

Yamato: Start!

As soon as he said that, Kaito rushes at him with a kick aimed at his head. As Yamato leans his head back, he saw an elbow coming for his face.

He quickly quickly caught the offending limb, before throwing throwing Kaito back at full force.

As Kaito is sent back flying, he quickly rebounds and lands on his feet as he drew his hand back before throwing a smoke bomb at Yamato's location.

Yamato covered in smoke smiles slightly. Suddenly, he uses a kunai to deflect an incoming shuriken.

Yamato rushes out of the smoke towards Kaito. As he gets close to Kaito, he suddenly dodges to the side as a shuriken tied by an almost invisible string cuts straight through his formerly position.

Kaito then performs a single hand seal, before exclaiming.

Kaito: Baku!!!

Suddenly the shuriken exploded in front of Yamato. Smoke clouds the vision. When the smoke cleared, Yamato was nowhere to be found.

He finally reappears behind Kaito striking Kaito at the back of his head causing him to go unconscious.

He turns to us and smiles as if there isn't an unconscious boy laying at him feet.

Yamato: Who's next?
