Chapter 10- The Meaning of the word Team

Jaune began to tell them all about what happened in the temple, how he fought with everything he had and did his best to survive so they could send the rescue team back for him.

His friends all began to tear up when he brought up the first blade of the knight guardians who they fought in the temple entering his body. He barely kept consciousness from the pain of it slicing right through his thigh and kept his shield and sword up. But soon he was surrounded and he began to be slashed, stabbed, cut, and gouged over and over again.

His friends were all crying or tearing up and barely holding it together as Jaune went through the experience of his essential death at the hands of the guardians. Jaune then began to tell them honestly his feelings, "I was feeling alone at that point. I was beginning to give in to hopelessness and despair at how you all left me to that fate."

His friends all gasped at that admission before Jaune looked at them all with a soft smile reassuring them that he had more to say, "I felt lost, then I felt the memories of you all flooding me, giving me a reason to try to hold on just that one more moment hoping the rescue team was coming. And that I had lasted long enough for you all to get to safety. I felt Pyrrhas voice calling to me to get back up. Velvets words of support as I was studying with you all. Yangs teasing at how she knows I had more to give. Ruby's words of encouragement to make me try harder. Weiss's advice on how to keep fighting even when you are feeling hopeless in a fight. Blakes gaze on me in silent approval at my efforts. And Coco, Yatsu, Fox, you guys were there supporting me from behind lifting me back up into consciousness to keep fighting. And Ren… Nora… I felt you both pulling on my arms to keep me standing upright despite my legs being ready to give out form all the pain I endured."

The friends were all now openly crying and smiling at him with how he saw them in his time of need. Jaune then swallowed deeply and searched for the right words to tell them this next part of the story. "Suddenly a bright light flashed and then I heard crashing and crushing sounds and suddenly I felt my wounds closing as I was being placed back on the pedestal and when I opened my eyes briefly I saw Iron standing over me with his aura form pouring into my open wounds and he said to me..."

Weiss shot up at this point, "WAIT! He! Your summon! Can talk to you!?"

Jaune scratched his cheek at how he should explain this then an idea came to him from a book he read once, "Well he told me to rest and that he would explain to me what was happening. And once he finished healing me I went back into unconsciousness. Then I woke up to you all caring for me in the infirmary. However I felt like I had suddenly found a piece of myself that I was missing while I was resting in the hospital. And I began to question Iron about who he was and what he was. Needless to say I was not ready for what he had to tell me."

Everyone settled themselves in and prepared for what Jaune had to say next. They were not ready for everything he told them about the last month of training and preparation they helped him through.

Jaune began, "Well after I woke up Iron began to talk to me through our mind link as he had become a part of my aura. He explained to me that the temple we found was actually an old warriors temple form ancient times when people had older practices and ancient ways of using aura. And that he was a spirit of one of the earliest warriors who was also a General back in his prime. He taught countless warriors who came to the temple for guidance and training. My families ancestors being the most common ones who came for lessons, and as a result he jumped at the chance to teach a new Arc member about my ancestors skills and training. The last one he trained was actually my Grandfather who stumbled upon the temple and gained Iron as a spirit trainer. He went back to th temple when my Grandfather died to a powerful Grimm attack when he was older but he promised himself he would teach the next Arc who came to the temple.

So after I came to his temple he gave the test of my resolve and soul using those knights to see if I kept hope or lost it. And he was happy to see I passed it so he saved me from those golems. Soon after he told me all of this, he began to teach me in my spare time between our rehab training sessions and the times I was sleeping to help develop my skills faster. He gave me dream fights to apply my abilities inside of and to help me keep my mind sharp even while resting my body. But he gave me one more edge to help. He gave me an interface similar like a video game to help me keep track of my progress to see how he was helping me grow and so I can help my own body know how to improve as well. And… well… it worked as you saw today and last week. I grew way faster than before. And I gained new understandings and adapted quicker than before as well. I was so happy at my new speed of development, that I got addicted to growing it faster, and then the discovery of my semblance came."

Everyone got interested at this point, Ruby and Nora were bouncing near light speed in their seats, Blake and Coco were both giving him the stare of 'don't leave us hanging' and even Ren, Fox and Yatsu were all giving him full attention stares. Pyrrha, Yang, Velvet, and Weiss were all on the edge of their seats waiting to see what he had to tell them next.

Jaune thought to himself as he figured how to explain it best, then the system and Iron came to his aid as he was struggling with the best way to word it.

~Worry not player Jaune we are here to support you. And you can use th einterface you mentioned as the best way to interact with it. Maybe even make it seem like another function of the interface like a video game that allows you to copy and mix the skills of others to make new ones! That may be the best way to spin this!~

Iron nodded in his mind as he saw the logic and benefits to this idea and how it would help him avoid explaining about the systems consciousness and the monarchs as a whole as well. "I agree with this plan Master. This is the best way to avoid unnecessary information that would worry, or outright blow your friends minds with too many questions that they are not ready to have answered. Let alone ones that we are not ready to answer yet either due to our lack of strength at this present time. I say go with the idea the system proposed. Otherwise too much light will come out to them before they are ready."

Jaune listens to both of his allies and nods to himself as he refocuses his attention to his friends in the study hall. He smiles to himself as he begins his explanation of his power.

"You see when I began to understand my interface more I was actually getting closer to understanding my true self and my intentions for getting stronger. And actually Pyrrha helped me notice this the most."

Everyone turned to the red haired champion all at once in shock and then wondered what she did. Pyrrha herself was confused by this declaration as well. "Me?! Um? What did I do exactly that I was confused about?"

Jaune chuckled at her confused expression noting how cute she looked with her head tilted to the side, and her eyebrows raised while her mouth was scrunched up in an amusing way, and how… he shook himself a bit to refocus his attention on her question. "Well actually Pyrrha here noticed something about how I was getting to know you all very well over the last few weeks. She noticed that I seemed to have pieces of your aura colors glow over my heart when we got closer. And as I thought more on it as my trip to meet my sister and uncle got closer I realized what it meant. I was trying to gain enough strength to stand beside you as your friend and equal. But not only that I was hoping to stand slightly above you or in front of you all. I hoped to be the unbreakable shield for our family we have made here. My dream had always been to become a huntsman. But now? It evolved, it changed after knowing you all and getting to have you all in my life."

Everyone was either smiling at him or blushing at how they were the reason he had actually changed his dream slightly. Blake was the one who wasn't blushing and decided to ask, "How did we help change your dream for the better? And why did our aura pieces glow on your body for a bit? Was it something to do with your semblance?"

Jaune smiled at them all as he gave the most honest and open smile they had seen on him yet as he gave his new dream and full explanation of his semblance, "Well my dream changed from being just a Huntsman, to being a symbol of the people. A hero who helps others become inspired to join the fight in their own way. To help the light fight back the darkness. You don't need to wield a sword to join, if you can make the sword you can help that way. If you can make armor you can help that way. If you can treat wounds, help cook, aid others with small good deeds. Any little thing that chases away negative emotions or outcomes are what I hope to do. Every good deed happens once you start the cycle. I hope to do that with my life as a symbol of the light, a Huntsman to all who needs that piece of hope in their lives."

His friends all got a thoughtful look as they absorbed his words.

Pyrrha was thinking she was closest to that kind of symbol until she took a good hard look at herself. She gasps softly as she realized one problem with her status as the Invincible Girl. She was a huntress. But that was it. She wasn't a hero, she wasn't a healer, she was merely another sword who had followers behind her to support her goals. But those followers didn't see her as an inspiration to better themselves. They saw her as a symbol to fight off their own fears for a while. But if she should break under the pressure of protecting them and fighting the darkness then they will lose hope and be unprepared to defend themselves or find a new champion. She thought longer on how to improve that image she has in the public then, after much internal debate, she finally decided to take a page from Jaunes book and dream. She decided to train harder than she hever had before and talk to more of her followers, actually show them that they too can reach their own full potential, instead of being a figure they could only dream of reaching.

While Pyrrha thought long and hard on her self image, the others began to self reflect on their own views of how they wanted to be seen in public once they all enter the professional world. Yatsu, Fox, and Coco were all sure of how they wanted to be seen and how they wanted to behave. Fox wanted to show others you didn't need to be afraid of the dark to fight the darkness. Yatsu wanted to be the tower of defiance in the face of danger to protect those who came to him, and deal with the danger one event at a time. Coco wanted to inspire others to fight while still looking good, but still be one who will defend anyone she can when the situation called for it.

Ruby being Ruby knew she wanted to be a huntress to protect the light of others, to be there for the crying child who lost their way in the dark, or the adult who was wounded and needed someone to be there. She wanted to be a hero. Not a symbol like Jaune though, if she could be there for as many people as possible then she would be happy that she saved as many lives as possible. But being a symbol and inspiring others was now added to that list. After all every way someone can help, will show themselves and others that they can fight back the darkness in their own way, with their own emotions and souls shining brightly in what they loved to do.

The rest of their friends looked deeper on their views though.

Blake was first to think deeper, she looked so deep in fact that she thought back to why she wanted to fight in the first place. She remembered the injustice, the racism, the oppression, and her parents dreams that have been warped and tarnished under the current White Fang group. Then as she thought deeper at how they lost their way she realized something. They looked into the abyss of negative emotions, but they blinked and got swallowed up in them. Instead of fighting them they became consumed in causing pain, being the ones who helped spread the darkness of the Grimm instead of stopping it. Every mission she carried out hurt others, every person beaten caused more negative emotions to build, more Grimm to be born, and more people who saw them as mere animals no better than the Grimm. Blake looked up to her friends as they were all thinking what they wanted to do to match Jaunes dream and realized that to actually change things around, she would need to conquer the White Fang, and bring it under new leadership. But that was the beginning, she would also need to inspire her fellow Faunus to be better than they are, and to be the ones who initiate the change from negative emotions to good deeds to inspire light. Not Darkness. She looked up to Jaune now who wanted to be a beacon of light for those who need it, she would need to train harder, study harder, and do her best to grow better so she can be that beacon for Faunus to bring them under their views and show them the right path forward. With new determination filling her eyes Blake refocused on what her friends were saying to each other.

Ren and Nora were quietly discussing what they should do as hunters. They were originally using this as a way to avoid losing each other and their friends, while hopefully going back to claim their village again. But now they realize that this goal… is too small. Sure it does good for others, and helps wipe out a dangerous Grimm, but this is only a temporary option, if they wanted to make a real difference they needed something better, something that can help more people. Then they remembered how Jaune and Ren were now brothers under the same family line. So they figured why not have their original dream become a stepping stone goal to help their leader/brothers goal? They can all be hunters with the goal of saving the world. And make changes to the orphan program to help more kids and broken families find better ways to recover after a loss form a Grimm attack. Deciding their new course of action they looked towards Jaune with a new gleam of determination in their eyes. While Nora also had a hidden agenda of starting the worlds largest Pancake buffet chain. (Tell me seriously you didn't see that coming)

Weiss was touched by her crushes dreams, and his message was clear to her. She thought hard about how she could help make it a reality. Something only she could do to help her friends and the world in the long run. Simply inheriting the SDC would only help so much. She now realized that there was indeed something she could do while in that chair. She could make new policies and new practices to tackle the growing distrust of the public to the SDC and Kingdoms police task force. With her in the chair for her father she can change so much to benefit her friends, and if she worked with Blake and Velvet to be partners or at least voices on her board for Faunus rights in the workplace she will be able to change things with more support. It will be a long uphill battle but it will be a battle that she will gladly tackle for her friends. And especially if it can garner more support to her potential boyfriends dream. She looks at everyone with a new fire in her eyes as she knows that she will have to bow to some of her fathers wishes but she will also do her best to make sure she can secure the chair and make it so her father won't have any say anywhere in how the business will grow moving forward.

Velvet was more than happy to support her friends and especially Jaunes dream. It felt so amazing to pursue while also being something to ensure that the Grimm will weaken in the long run. She looks to her team mates who all look at her with a mixture of smiles or grins of support. With a nod to herself she promises to her own mind and soul that she will be there to support everyone in need, be it a civilian, or her friends, or even her future family. She blushes while imagining her friends all living together in one large mansion they bought together to stay close but also to raise their children together as one large family. She could see the adorable childrne she would have with the others and how she, Yang, Pyrrha, and Weiss would all cuddle up to Jaune under th ecovers together after a long hard day of work. They would all be naked an dbeginning to roam their hands over each other to cuddle, but then things would become charged as they realize they can have new siblings for their children and make sure there are more champions of the light in the future. SO they would begin to… (Velvet.exe has over heated due to overcharged sexual fantasy please send a crash report and come back after you have rebooted your fantasizing friend. Needless to say Velvet needed some water and a way to refocus on her task at hand to be there to help her friends in their dreams as her main dream was to make sure she wouldn't lose anyone else to this life style she chose.

Yang was going through a panic as her thoughts began to race after seeing everyone beginning to go over their own goals and dreams from how inspiring Jaunes speech and dreams were. She thought back to why she became a Huntress. She wanted to see the world, adventure, get into fights, protect the weak. But now that she thought deeper on these goals… She realized that that's all their were. Goals. Not dreams, not careers, not even a lifestyle. She just went through the academy cause that is the easiest way to gain a license to be able to live that way for her own development of character. But now she knows she needs to overhaul her dream. For now she will just support the others, and protect them so that they don't hurt themselves on their dreams. This way she won't lose them like she lost Summer… Then it hit her. She would do her own progress to avoid losing those who are close to her. Protect the light didn't mean she should give up her goals. No. She decided to mix the goals all together to make a new one. This one will be so she can go around and defend others from the Grimm. A way to be the one who fights the most to protect what is most precious in this world. Innocence, families, and the light of the future. She would make her largest goal align with the others so that she can work with them all as long as possible. And even… maybe… have a life with Jaune and the other girls who she has started to see a new sisters. Her being Bi doesn't hurt things as she can see herself eventually loving Jaune as a woman. But also loving Pyrrha, velvet, and Weiss as more than just sisters. But she'll cross that bridge when she comes to it.

Like the others she finally gains a new insight to herself and looks towards Jaune with a new glint of steel in her lilac eyes. A new drive to make her train harder, study (a little) harder, and make sure she is there when they need her the most in their lives.

Jaune looks around the room and saw nothing but friendship, unspoken promises, and steeled determination from all of his friends. He nodded to himself. "I'm glad you are all supporting my dream and goals. But my Semblance is a different matter that will help explain how I plan to achieve this! My semblance works like this. As I get to know people and train against their Semblances I gain an understanding of their power and their soul. My Semblance then borrows of piece of their aura and Semblance to copy and understand then breaks it down into part for me to assimilate and make my own. Now it is not perfect. I can at most use about 75% of their Auras original power output. Like if it came down to me fighting Yang hand to hand with her semblance copied, at most I would be able to get to maybe 80% of her maximum output using my own strength and her copied power. It's not perfect. But if I break it down I can mix and match certain aspects of the powers I have under my library of copied powers and turn them into new abilities. Using my interface I can pick key parts of powers I copied and mix them to suit the situation. I had to train to make them mix together on the fly as I don't know when what mixture will suit the situation. I prepped a specific one for my match with CDRl today.

The mixture used, Pyrrhas magnetism on metal to hold alloys in place, for example my shield so I could leap off of it. Yangs ability to power up bit by bit as I take hits, thus giving me an edge against the 4 on 1 matchup. Noras ability to absorb elements to power myself, in my case I switch it to fire since Cardin and his friends like that element the most. Rens ability to keep calm so I could think through each part of the battle and avoid panicking if I get overwhelmed or surrounded. And to give Iron a body I used Weiss's ability to create summons, so I made a light construct body for Iron to help me out in the fight. For the speed hit combo I used Ruby's semblance to speed myself up to that level of output. For turning so fast I used Blakes shadow clone ability on my feet to make an after image and use that to change directions quickly. And for using the Aura blade I mixed Weiss's aura control, Pyrrhas aura output, Yangs condensation ability, and Velvets formation of weapons ability to make the orb and coat my blade in it. So in a way you were all there with me helping me fight."

Everyone's jaws had hit the table at this point as they couldn't believe their ears. He could essentially be a one man army with this ability. But they began to think more as he explained the ability and how fast his Aura drained during the battle as he switched between all these passive to active parts of their Semblances.

Weiss is the one who decides to ask the big question at this point, "So the more you use at one time… Makes you drain your aura faster?"

Jaune blushes at this and admits to one key part, "Well I actually never mixed so many Semblances together at once until today, mostly I practiced with 1 or 2 parts at once, never more than 3. So today opened my eyes to how fast I drain and how much I need to practice. But I think the more I practice with 3 or more powers mixed the faster I can lower the drain on my Aura or even the larger my reserves will grow. And now that I can break down your powers into parts, I can help you all train certain aspects of them to help you better control or improve them! What do you think?"

The group of friends all go wide eyed at this part of his thoughts, if he could help them out this way then maybe that would help them out as a whole. Heck this power will help them out with their own growth as well as Jaunes growth. This way they can continue to train together, push each others limits, and help them all grow to reach their dreams and goals faster than ever!

With smiles all around the friends all nod or agree verbally. Jaunes chest puffs out in pride at them all agreeing to this plan of growth for them to do together. And then Ruby raises her hand. Everyone chuckles at her instinct to still act like a little kid at these moments in time. Jaune nods to Ruby as she asks with a wide grin on her face, "So does this mean we are all going to continue to be one large team together?"

Everyone grins and looks to Jaune as he thinks it over in an exaggerated way. Smiling to himself, "You know Ruby, yeah. We will be one large team together! What do you all say?"

Coco and her team all grin at each other in eagerness, "Yeah count us in, plus Bunbun has been enjoying her time with you all and the boys are happy to be spending guy time with others guys anyway. It would be criminal to pull that apart. We are with you all."

Ruby speaks up again, "You know team Ruby is with you Jaune! Count us in!"

Blake smiles and nods with cross arms, Weiss huffs and then smiles while nodding, Yang gives two thumbs up and a wide grin at them all.

Jaune looks to his teammates. They are all smiles and all of them are nodding and standing up to show their support.

Jaune claps his hands and thus everyone else begins to clap and cheer at the formation of a triple team up.

Suddenly Pyrrha realizes that one issue wasn't addressed, and it was a big one that they all needed to hear, "Um Jaune?"

"Yeah Pyr?"

Pyrrha blushes lightly at the borderline endearing nickname he made for her and refocuses on her question, "I get why you didn't explain this to CVFY as they are more recent close friends, but why didn't you explain this to the rest of us sooner? We could have helped you with the interface or pushing your growth to your limits to make sure you were improving faster than you were. We are here for you Jaune and knowing you were struggling to grow with only the basics and intermediate training we were giving you hurts slightly. Please tell us. We deserve to know as your friends."

That got the rest RWBY, CVFY, and JNPR to quiet down and all look to Jaune with looks of confusion. Jaune scratches the back of his head a seeing the mood change quickly from that and sighs as he leans back against the wall with his arms crossed thinking of a good reason to explain his thoughts.

With a sigh of acceptance he explained his thought process, "Well to be honest with you all, I thought you would think I was crazy, or think that I had gained my Semblance. And it wasn't my Semblance yet. I wanted to grow comfortably at a good rate with all of you helping me grow at the pace that worked for me. I didn't want to think that I would have to use you simply for levels, or stats, or experience. What I wanted was to grow to know you all better and be a better hunter. If I told you all what would your response be? One of the ones I mentioned?"

Everyone began to think on that and Weiss had her eyes go wide first with a realization, "There is a good chance that we would throw you back into the infirmary to hopefully make your rest up if you told us you saw a videogame interface as your ability. But if it wasn't written off as your Semblance then we would probably throw you in a hospital for PTSD and this being the manifestation of that."

Everyone shivered and looked scared as they all realized that this was one possible outcome of a reaction. Fox added on next, "And if not that, then we would tell you that this must be your Semblance, at least until you could unlock your ability to summon Iron and prove to us that you were not lying about having a spirit give you this training tool and that your Semblance was developing."

Coco nodded at that and then carried on the thought, "So essentially we either think you are unlocking your Semblance, or you were fucking nuts."

She immediately got glares or disapproving looks from her friends and especially Velvet. While Ruby reacted the only way she knew how, standing up quickly she pointed an accusatory finger at the fashionista and yelled, "SWEAR!"

Yang pushed Ruby back into her seat and told her, "Not the time sis."

Jaune nodded sadly at Cocos summarization and said, "Yeah that was my thought process since I had no proof. In fact I can't even show you the interface since it doesn't show up on camera or for you to see. How do I know this? Well I have had my status page open since I told you all my reasons for not telling you, do any of you see it?"

Everyone looked close all over Jaunes body, even charging their eyes with aura didn't show them anything new. Even Fox tried his multi sensory skills and didn't see anything except a mass of energy floating in front of Jaune.

Fox brings this up, "Thanks to how I see and my Semblance of sensory spectrum, I can sense a mass of energy in front of you about the same size as a scroll, but I can't see any details. So even to me it looks like you simply summoned a small bit of your aura in front of you and made a projection for a small shield.'

Everyone widened their eyes that Jaune was telling the truth and that they truly couldn't see his interface. They all slumped in their chairs or on the table in defeat now knowing that their response would be one of the two Coco said earlier.

Jaune chuckles at their response prompting them to perk up and look towards him, "Sorry you all looked slightly silly like that. But this is why I am telling you now, I can prove it now, and give you my honest reasons for doing it this way. So do you all still trust me?"

Pyrrha stands up and comes over to Jaune and holds his hand with both of hers, "Jaune this was never about our trust, I was just hoping to understand why you didn't tell us. We are your friends. Nora, Ren, and I are your team. And I am your partner. So please don't hide these things from us again?"

Jaune blushes as Pyrrha got very close to him to the point where he saw the green eye shadow on her eyes and gulped at how it accentuated her emerald pupils properly and showed that she was indeed beautiful. He would had gotten lost in her eyes if he didn't remember she asked a question, with a nod of his head without losing sight of her eyes he answers, "I won't Pyr. You have my word. And remember an Arc..."

Everyone answers for him, "Never go back on their word."

Jaune chuckles sheepishly as he goes, "Have I really said it that often to be remembered that quickly?"

With nods all around he deflates comically making chuckles and giggles ring out around the room. He glances at Pyrrha and notices her giggling behind her hand making her look adorable in his eyes. Pyrrha opens her eyes and her giggling stops at seeing the eyes full of care and affection Jaune was giving her. They both lock eyes together and begin to inch closer, being lost in each others gazes.

They begin to come closer without realizing and soon are holding each other. The sounds of the room have died out as they inch closer and are about to kiss right before, "Wow someone should let them know that we are still here."

They both gasp with blushes and look to their friends, and see a blushing Weiss, Ruby, and Velvet. A wide eyed Blake. A smiling Nora, smirking Coco, neutral Fox and Yatsu. And of course the one who said those words that broke the magic, a shit eating grin wearing Yang. Who motions for them to continue, "Oh don't let me stop you! Go ahead! I myself, don't mind the show."

Ruby yells out, "Yang!" With an atomic blush now on her face as well as Jaune and Pyrrha. "Why would you say that to our friends?"

Yang simply looks to her sister and says in the most playful and teasing tone, "1. They both look good to me. 2. I'm bi, to me? This is a nice show. 3.Why not?"

Ruby sputters at her sisters antics and then yells out in frustration as she pounds her chair at how when Yang is honest like that she can't talk back against it.

Jaune and Pyrrha looks to each other with blushes still prominent on their face before Pyrrha giggles again and Jaune smirks before getting a small teasing smile and Pyrrha notices. She is about to ask why he had the smirk before she is pulled into a deep dip where her heels are barely keeping her up off the ground as Jaune gets her into a tango dip and pulls her closer to his face and whispers, "Giving us some privacy."

Pyrrha gasps softly as she realizes that his hoodie is up over his head, and that at this angle his now broader back is blocking most of the others views of them and she smiles coyly before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing Jaune deeply. Her tongue darts in and he welcomes it wholeheartedly. Their tongues begin a dance battle of sorts, rubbing and caressing each other while Jaune had one hand on the back of Pyrrhas head to hold her close while the other was holding her waist up to keep her in the dip comfortably. They begin to make out in the tango position for a good 2 minutes, and as the time goes on Pyrrha begins to feel more than a little more adventurous and gets ready to feel more of his body but soon feels Jaune placing her back on her feet making them both have a bit of saliva around their mouth from the french kiss and both were panting lightly. Jaune looks at her apologetically for cutting their make out short but Pyrrha smiles and winks at him promising that they would find time to continue. Jaune blushes at Pyrrhas boldness before realizing two things.

One the room was deathly quiet except for some small light high pitched squealing sounds. And a look towards the room revealed that everyone was looking at them intently while Yang was looking at them with a Cheshire grin on her face. Both blush at remembering their friends were all there to partially see their make out as blushes were all around.

Soon Jaune coughs into his hand and claps to gain everyones attention, 'Sp besides… this atmosphere… and what just happened… anything left to discuss?"

Yatsu then decides to ask the question no one thought of yet, "Well… What do we call our team up? After all we can't go around calling ourselves the RWBYJNPRCVFY team. Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue."

Yang pipes up, "Oh I believe we have seen plenty of tongue rolling around here just now if you know wh-oopf!"

Weiss was standing while pointing a finger at Yang and a her snow summon glyph was out and prominent to them all. She was panting slightly and seethed out, "We… will… not!… Mention that! That was for Jaune and Pyrrha to talk about later… We will not bring it up! Unless they do so first alright Xiao Long?!"

Yang melts the snow off with her Semblance and decides to poke the yeti as it were, "Oh I see, with you running your mouth, you want to roll your own tongue around don't you? I can see it now! You and Jaune locked in an embrace and your tongues in each others mouths while on a bed and you both are, OH SHIT!"

The last part was from Yang ducking behind Blake as a 5ft Icicle comes out of the glyph that Weiss doubled in size and was now looking at Yang with a murderous blush face. She looks to Blake as she gets her attention, "Hey Yang?" "Yeah Blake?" "I would run." Yang glances at a very pissed off Weiss as she was summoning another one with Ruby, Ren, and Nora were all trying to calm her down and restrict her movements. "I would too." With that Yang and Weiss run off tearing through the Library for a good 5 minutes before Ms. Goodwitch tracked them down and gave them evening detention to help clean up the library that night as punishment for disturbing the students studying and the workers trying to organize the books. Both girls turn sheepish and apologize to everyone before slunking back to their study room with Ruby patting Weiss on the back and Yang looking around with a 'What can you do?' shrug. Everyone shakes their heads at her antics and refocus on the task at hand. A new super team name.

Everyone immediately goes into side discussions with each other and begin to think. They didn't really go that far into their minds about the team up originally. Obviously they would all have their original teams and team names for individual missions. But when they are all together or teamed up on missions what would their name be?

Soon Ruby was at the front using the white board with Yang helping her and Nora standing at the front with pens ready.

Jaune laughs to himself and watches his friends as they interact and begin to discuss new team names as Nora puts down Pancake Crusaders, and Ruby puts down the Best Buddies. Neither get many votes from anyone besides Yang and Ren.

Jaune begins to think on possible names while Velvet quietly joins him standing on the side as Weiss and Coco were in a battle for getting votes for their own team names. Coco wanted to be called the Fashion Warriors, while Weiss had the mind set to name them all the Specialists. Of course everyone called her out on it due to her bias from being from Atlas. Weiss was losing ground, but at the same time Coco wasn't gaining any.

Jaune looks to Velvet and gives her a small smile which she returns with a light smile as well as a nod before she blushes as Jaune grips her hand and softly squeezes it. She looks at him as he gives her a knowing smile and leans in to whisper into her rabbit ear, "Don't worry Vel, I'll protect you from the craziness here. Just like I promised to you before to be there for you."

Velvet gasps softly at Jaune reminded her of the promise he gave her all those weeks ago. When her crush on him began and when he was her first shining knight to come to her aid. She thinks on how he was, how he is now, and how they all grew from then. Then a light bulb seems to come over her head and she apologetically nods to Jaune and gets her hand back from his comforting grip and claps her hands loudly to gain everyone's attention.

Everyone freezes from what they were doing. Ren, Blake, Yatsu, and Fox had been all trying to hold back Yang and Nora from getting into a fist fight over their respective team names. Yang had recommended the Waffle Brigade which to Nora, was like burning her personal weapon in front of her. Ruby and Weiss had been in a match of wits on how to combine their team names and support each others ideas. While Coco was arguing with Pyrrha on using a new team uniform for them all to wear. But Pyrrha was concerned on how short the skirts were for them all, and she was also worried about copy right concerns given how it reminded her of a show for kids about girls names after planets.

Velvet comes to the board and begins to write something as she begins to explain her thoughts on the team name, "Well we can agree that our job and our dreams usually align. And based on how we are all doing what we want to do while saving lives I think this is the best team name for us. I hope you all agree with me on this one as I believe this will help people know what we do and who we are. As well as why we do it. So what do you say to this name?"

She finishes with a flourish as her friends all look at the new team name on the board with awe. The team name she recommended was: The Hunters.

They all think about it for a bit before they all murmur and then discuss, finally they all begin to cheer and clap for her as Velvet blushes under the praise. She bows to them as they begin to make plans to ask Ozpin for permission to make this the new co-op team name for their extended group.

Jaune keeps smirking as he notices how late it is getting. He claps his hands and tells his friends that they better head on back to their rooms soon. They all agree and prepare to gather their gear and head back to rest for the day before Jaune decides to compliment everyone there.

"I'm glad you guys all accepted this secret from me." His words make them all stop mid step, "I am glad we made this new extended team and that you all trust me and are still with me in this fight against the Darkness."

They all smile before Pyrrha comes closer and hugs Jaune, "Of course we are with you still Jaune. We are your friends, team mates, and allies. And you know that the true meaning of the word team is that you never fight things alone. You instead do what you can to watch each others backs, support each other, and be there for each other. This way you can grow as people, and maybe something more. So never forget that we are here for you. Understood?"

Jaune tears up a little at that message from his trainer and good friend. He goes to answer them all with a smile on his face before his scroll rings. The caller ID is shown to be Headmaster Ozpin and he shows his friends who all turn quiet to give him the room to answer the call.

With a calming breath Jaune picks up and goes, "Yes? Jaune Arc speaking."

Ozpin is heard from the other end of the line, "Mr. Arc it has come to my attention that we need to have a meeting about what has happened today in combat class. If you could come to my office in another 2 hours before curfew I would appreciate it since that should give you time to get your affairs in order at this sudden request."

Jaune thinks a bit before taking mental note of what he has left to do. Then it hits him that he still needed to finish his daily training quest before he ran out of time by mid night to miss out on the stat points. He quickly goes back to the call, "Oh! Yes headmaster Ozpin! I can do that no problem! I'll say good night to my friends then head right up!"

Ozpin nods with a small calm smile on his end of the call and goes, "Thank you Jaune I will look forward to it. Take care until then."

Jaune explains to his friends about the call and Ruby decides that this is important, and hands Jaune the paper work for their new group. "I figured if you are going to see him we can just deliver it to him personally instead of waiting for it to go through the system. That okay with you Jaune?"

Jaune takes it gladly, "Yeah I got it, don't worry. I'll make sure he gets them and we go over them during our meeting tonight. Thanks Rubes." With that confirmation Jaune begins to wish his friends goodnight before he heads off to finish his training quest and his meet up with Ozpin.

Everyone gives him good nights in return while Yang and Weiss go over to the head Librarian to report for their detention punishment, Weiss with her shoulders squared ready to accept it with grace, and Yang with her body hunched over groaning in despair at getting such a boring detention.

Jaune goes to the gym in a rush to finish his requirements. Barely finishing the sword, unarmed, and endurance training before he ran out of time. Then rushed with the team application and scroll in hand up to the office of the head of Beacon Academy himself.

Jaune went up the elevator nervous the whole way as he breathed in and out some calming breaths. The doors ding open and Jaune looks out to see Ozpin behind his desk with his ever present coffee mug and his reliable cane beside him as well. Jaune takes a step into the room ready to discuss the important matter that Ozpin was hoping to talk to him about.
