keep calm and carry on

not sure how long it takes, when Mian wakes up, it's all quiet and peaceful. no stranger, no jade box, no smoke or voice, nothing unusual.

'aha, not too bad.' Mian checked himself and no hurt or anything. everything looks fine. He continues to find a way out.

it doesn't take long for him to get out. after so many ridiculous events, finally, he can breathe fresh air in an open space. feel so alive!

the next question is, where he is, and where to go.

actually he has no idea. he seldom goes around, nor does he have a good sense of direction. importantly, he is hungry and thirsty.

this world is too unfriendly to ordinary people. he complained. but what can he do? it's so wild and nothing for food or drink. He sits down on a rock and tries to think.

thinking is never his strength. it is so time and energy consuming. rather, he is good at quiet quitting.

fortunately it's a common afternoon, not too hot nor too cold. he is tired but not exhausted. still plenty of time to work out a way.

how long does it take to get back to the mountains? he has no spiritual qi, nor any animal friends. what he can rely on is only his feet. not so reliable at this moment.
