Silence was the answer I received just as Grigori led us into a narrow alleyway. I smacked my lips in begrudging resignation as I interpreted Aria's lack of correspondence to mean that some people were already awake to hear us. This, combined with Grigori's quickened pace meant that something was just about to go wrong.
"In here."
Following the old man, I only blinked as we entered what looked to be an abandoned shack somewhere deep within the capital's alleyways. I knew that there will always be some hidden parts in this city not unlike any modern city, but the state of disrepair that this small shack had almost made me wary of every creak I heard from each step. Then again, Grigori was walking in here just fine, and he was heavier than I ever will be.
Taking one last look around to make sure that we weren't followed, I gently placed Amelie on a dilapidated set of stairs to sit while I closed the door. "Right... Are we clear?"
