Chapter 14

After last night's incident, Yuni caught her mother being taken home by another man. Yuni and her mother don't greet each other, they even tend to have a cold war.

Her mother threatened to leave the house if Yuni told her father. and Yuni also didn't intend to tell her father because she was worried that her father would fall ill and think about it, so Yuni kept her secret to herself.

This morning Yuni was preparing breakfast for her father, usually she would make it for her mother too. However, because she saw that her mother was having an affair, Yuni didn't want to make her mother breakfast.

"How come you don't have one," said Mrs. Nina to Yuni.

Yuni, who heard her mother say something to her, just looked away. He was completely sick of talking to the person who had given birth to him.

Yuni went to her father's room to wake him up and told him to have breakfast. He knocked on his father's door repeatedly but there was no answer from inside. Yuni felt worried and opened her father's door without permission.

Her father appeared to be lying down with his eyes closed. Yuni immediately approached and checked her father's condition.

"Dad, let's have breakfast. Yuni has made food for Dad." Yuni said while shaking her father's body.

Yuni was surprised that her father just groaned and didn't make a sound, she put her hand on her father's forehead.

Immediately, Yuni felt shocked because her father's body temperature was very high.

"Dad's body temperature is very hot, I have to immediately take Dad to the hospital nowIf you're late, Dad could be in trouble." Yuni said to herself and she ran to the kitchen to tell her mother.

Even though he was still angry, now his condition was very critical. and he needed the strength of his mother and two older brothers to help carry his father to the hospital.

Yuni ran around her mother's room after seeing that her mother was no longer in the kitchen like the last time Yuni saw her.

"Mother, are you in there?" Yuni asked, knocking on her mother's door.

His mother, who was busy playing on her cellphone, became disturbed, and she quickly opened the door roughly.

"What else do you need? You didn't want to talk to your mother earlier, you didn't even make food for me, you disobedient child." Mother shouted, clenching her fists, wanting to hit Yuni who was disturbing her while she was chatting with her boyfriend.

"Mom, I'm sorry I bothered you. But now I need your help." Yuni said tremblingly, she was scared and worried about her father's condition.

"You can't do it yourself, Mom is busy." Said Mother, who was about to close the door to her room again, she was annoyed with Yuni who was just wasting her time.

"Wait Mom, Dad is sick and his body is very hot." Yuni said with teary eyes, she was really afraid that something would happen to her father.

"You just have to give him medicine, why does he have to be spoiled." Mother Nina shouted, feeling that it was none of her business if her husband was sick, if Yuni wanted to take care of him, don't involve herself in taking care of her father.

"Mum, listen first, this isn't like an ordinary illness. Dad just stays in the room, please Mom, please take Dad to the hospital." Yuni said, begging her mother who was still stubborn and didn't want to help her take Yuni's father to the hospital.

"Why are you so stubborn, you just have to take it yourself on the public transportation, why bother Mother?" His mother shouted as she closed the door to her room again.

Yuni looked disturbed to see her mother who had absolutely no conscience, Yuni immediately entered her two older siblings' room.
