Chapter 3
Inside a dark cave one could see a figure lying on the ground.
"Urgh.... What happened??" A male voice came from the figure. It had a ghostly echo to it. The figure slowly sat up. He looked around and saw that he was in a dark cave. At the entrance of cave he could see something glowing.
Slowly the figure stood up.
"Why do I feel so light and..... why is my voice like this ?" The figure said as it could feel his body and voice quite different.
He slowly walked towards the entrance where the glow came from. When he reached the area he saw multiple glowing crystals on the ground which shoned with bright chromatic light.
'What are these stones' The figure was intrigued as he went near then and bend to touch them with us left hand but when he was going to touch them, he suddenly froze in his track when he saw his arm. Instead of being a fleshy arm it was all bones.
"Wha.....what i...is t.. this??!" He said, fear in his voice. His entire body shook as he slipped and fell on the ground.
He then noticed the lower part of his body and panicked. His entire body was that of a skeleton instead of flesh, muscles and organs.
"No no no NOOOO!!!" He screamed with fear and anger.
"This can't be possible. How did I turn into a skeleton?!!"
The skeleton slowly stood up as he checked himself. Everything seemed unreal to him. He slowly walked towards the crystals and picked one up.
*Ding* The moment he touched the crystal he heard a sound. He looked everywhere but couldn't find anything or anyone who made that sound.
*Ding* [System Initializing, Recording chosen One's identity]
This time be heard a emotionless voice as a purple 3 dimensional screen appeared in front of him. When he looked at it his non existent eyes widened as he dropped the crystal on the ground.
He looked at the so called system when he heard the emotionless voice again.
*Ding* [System consists four separate functions for the host, namely :
Quest
Store
Inventory
Status
Quest:- Hands out various quests and missions for the host to complete. The quest are handed out depending on the situation the host finds himself at that moment. Successful completion of the quests will award the Chosen One with credit points. The number of Credit points depend on the difficulty of the quest and the effort out by the host.
Store:- In the store, the host can buy all kinds of things that will help the Chosen one to become stronger and help him survive in this world with the help of credit points. Chosen One will receive credit points for completing quests, defeating or killing people, beasts, demons or gods handing in treasures and reaching new levels of power. Skills, Powers,Talents, Magic, weapons, armors, clothes, healing items, power items, support items are all available for purchase in the store.
Inventory:- A separate dimensional space where the Chosen one can store all his equipments. The time in this dimension is stagnant and doesn't flow thus keeping all the items belonging to the host from degrading or decaying.
Status:- Displays the Chosen One's current status info. It includes name, race, gender, age,strength, health, MP, speed, defense, recovery, dexterity, skills, equipments and the current amount of Credit points.
{Credit points are currency the chosen one can use to buy various things from the store. CP can obtained by completing quests, killing monsters, people, demon or other races. It can also be obtained by killing other chosen ones.}

{Absorption- The ability to absorb the essence and souls of beings slayed by the Chosen One. Any random stat increases by absorbing essence of a fallen foe. Can also obtain a random skill of the foe.
Resurrection- Can resurrect innumerable amount of times if killed. Each resurrection takes twenty four hours.
*Note- Resurrection require 5 points of MP to resurrect each time.*
Undead Physiology- You are already dead. You can't eat, sleep or feel. It also gives you limited immortality as you won't die due to age or if someone destroys your body because you are already dead. The only way to permanently kill you is by destroying your soul.}]
This was Adrian who was sent to this place after that event. He was currently sitting on the ground and was checking the the system and and all its function. He had asked several things like what happened, where was he or how did he became a skeleton and what the system actually was? The system only answered that he was brought from his own world to the world of Ark a super planet present in an alternate universe. And currently he was in a dungeon. A dungeon was a separate dimension which was connected to Ark. There were countless dungeons of various sizes present on the planet. Each size varying from that of a continent to that of an entire universe. It also mentioned that the system was a protocol which would allow the Chosen Ones to survive in this harsh world but it refused to answer who were the ones who send him here or what their purpose was.
It took an entire hour for him wrap his head around all of this. It seems like he has been transported into a different world by those unknown voices.
"Damn it, I have been transported into some unknown world and what's more. I am a fucking Undead skeleton!!!" Adrian cursed.
He didn't know what to do. It was also very bad for him as it seemed like he was separated from his fellow employees. At this time he heard the familiar noise.
*Ding* [ Quest 1 - Survive the dungeon
Quest 2 - Kill 10 creatures in the dungeon and become stronger.
Quest 3 - Unlock your magic power
Quest 4- Make all stats reach level 100
Quest 5- Evolve]
Seeing this he could only shake his head. The only thing he could do now was to survive and find answers.
After mulling over his thoughts, he again picked up the crystal but this time he could see a notification pop up.
*Ding* [Found Mana Crystal ( low grade)]
{Mana crystal- These are naturally formed crystals which contain a condensed amount of mana in them. It can be used for enchantment, absorption etc }
"Eh I can absorb the mana from these crystals?" He asked the system which in turn answered yes.
*Ding* [ Absorb Mana Y/N]
Seeing this he quickly said yes. After saying yes the mana crystal in his hand disappeared and he slowly felt a unknown form of energy pervading through his body. It made him feel lightheaded and drunk but at the same time he could feel that something in him was increasing.
*Ding* [ Mana Crystal absorbed, MP increased by 2]
Seeing this he was quite ecstatic. He quickly look around and found the other crystals. There were 15 more crystals here. 7 of low grade, five of mid grade, two of high grade and one of ultra grade which was the largest amongst all the crystal and was releasing a dense energy .
He slowly picked up the another low grade mana crystal and started to absorb it. In half and hour he has absorbed all the crystals and his body was was overflowing with magic power. He opened the system and checked his stats

He found out that his his MP has actually increased to 116 which was actually a ridiculous jump. The 7 low grade mana crystals has increased his MP by 14 points, the mid grade by 25 points, the high grade by 20 and the ultra grade by 50 points which combined with his previous mp stat put him at a total of 116 points.
At this moment Adrian could feel that his body was filled with an unnatural energy which was ready to burst out.
*Ding* [ Magic Power is more than the body capacity. It's suggested that the Chosen one finds a suitable skill or equipment to release the power Or strengthen your body otherwise your body will explode.]
"Shit!!! It seems like I need to find some skills or make myself stronger ASAP!!!" Adrian said in a panicked voice.
'Its high time I get out of this cave' He thought as he walked towards the entrance of the cave.
