Skelengel; Tales Of The Boundless One [Not Updating]

When the universe creates a person, they are bestowed with certain traits that we, as mere humans, are aware of. Sportiness, the ability to work with computers, and creativity are all things we may obtain at creation. However, some of those talents extend far past the mortal realm of flesh and blood. They go all the way to your very soul, and these are the ones that we cannot see. These few are destined to become Boundless. And it just so happens that one was designated to die on the fateful day a new god took sight over the earth. This is the tale of Aaron Stone, the once businessman turned planetary traverser. Aided by himself and his potential, he plans to live out his life with peace of mind. However, the universe has it out for him, and it won't let him ever have true peace. However, someone from behind the shadows controls everything, and they have quite a distaste for Aaron Stone. They will try to make his life a living hell. Everything you read here is an account of something going on in the vast universe. Hell, who knows... It may even be YOU who takes his place in the future. Threat of War

Aaron stood still for a minute, contemplating his theory. He didn't have any proof for it, so he was probably simply imagining a reason. Aaron put his imaginative theorem to the side and looked over towards Monument, who was confused. He didn't know what was going through Aaron's mind. To him, Aaron was standing still, not doing anything. When Aaron turned his head to him, he got a slight shock, as to him, it was such a sudden movement, compared to Aaron's previous state.

"Hey Monument, would you mind guiding me to one of the lesser guardians? I want to see how I compare to them." Aaron asked Monument out of his curiosity, as he still needed to learn the locations of this planet. He knew this city was the capital of this country, presuming it was a country, but he had no idea of any other areas surrounding it. He would easily get lost without Monument's directions.

"Sure, but I would have thought you'd have learned the directions to different places at this point in your theoretically infinite life. The reason I saw 'theoretically infinite' is because no skeleton has ever died of old age, and nobody will be killing you any time soon." Monument replied, curious as to Aaron's lack of knowledge. He may have been inside Aaron's head and known all the stuff about him being a god, but no data was collected about this planet.

Let me explain the system. The system collects data while Aaron is on a planet and stores that data about it when he leaves. So, since Aaron destroyed the version of Eratonia he was on before, all the viewable memories are there. Since he's only arrived on this planet, the system locks the currently being-viewed data behind a personal barrier.

This data can be accessed either by an extremely powerful mind-reading and memory checking skill or if the system chooses to share the information. Aaron's system had decided not to allow Monument to view the data that Aaron collected since arrival.

"Oh, I'm just not good with directions. It would just be easier for you to do it." Aaron lied, not bothered to tell him the truth. It would probably break his mind knowing that Aaron came to this planet less than a day ago.

"Well, if you say so. First, we have to leave the town. Each guardian has a base of actions. It's where you fight them. There are four major countries in this world, as you know, and there is one element per country. This country houses the Earthen Guardians, while the others house the Air, Water, and Fire Guardians." Monument explained, causing Aaron to get curious. 'I had no idea about any of this.' Aaron thought to himself as Monument continued to explain

.

"Spert is the capital city of Sperta. In the country of Flameroyle, the capital is titled Flame. I mean, it makes sense, considering their country name. Earrat is the capital city of Eritas, and Aqaur is the capital city of Aquos."

"Sperta houses the Earthen Guardians. Flameroyle houses the, you guessed it, the Flame Guardians. Aquos houses the Water Guardians, and by process of elimination, Eritas houses the Air Guardians. None of us are really the best of friends, so we may or may not have been the cause for multiple wars, but let's skip over that part for a bit." Monument explained, trying to hide part of the history of this planet. It was a good thing Aaron noticed it.

"Hold on for a second, wars? You hated each other that much that you started multiple wars?! Aaron yelled out, just loud enough for the passers-by shoppers to not hear, but for it to be heard by Monument. Monument sighed and began walking. "I'll explain it while we walk," Monument responded.

"Listen. We hate each other, alright? Each of them believes to be the one who governs everything. I'm the only one who hasn't actually STARTED a war. I've just responded in self-defence. That's why I suggested what I suggested in the cave. You could be like the final boss of the bosses. You would be the ending challenge. You would be the one who keeps us all in line." Monument explained, trying to make it sound appealing.

"If anyone goes to war again, something terrible is going to happen. I don't know what, though. Maybe one of the guardians will die. A country might lose all of its power. Maybe all of the guardians will die at once. We don't know. I don't know, and that is what makes me afraid. If we can't get everything under control, we don't know what will happen." Monument admitted, with slight fear in his voice. Of course, it was a normal reaction when thinking about what could be the outcome of a war.

Aaron had to think for a bit. He didn't know what else to do with his time, so he decided on a solution that would help solve both of their problems. "If I force all of the guardians underneath my own leadership, will the thoughts and threats of war come to an end?" Aaron asked Monument, unsure if it was a good idea.

"I mean, theoretically, if you told us that we weren't allowed to go to war with each other, and everyone was too scared to disobey you, yeah, it probably would solve that problem. Why?" Monument asked, unsure of why Aaron would ask such a question, but a second later, he understood. A look of understanding spread across his face, although Aaron couldn't see. "You plan to force all of us under your leadership while you beat up all of the guardians, don't you?" Monument responded, his voice full of excitement.

"Calm down, calm down. Yes, I plan to do that. Good thing you picked up on that quickly, as I wasn't going to explain it to you." Aaron replied, just saying his mind. So, are you alright with that plan?"

"Absolutely! Let's go to the lesser Earth Guardian!" Monument excitedly responded, finally getting to enact his dream of peace.
