The Savant

The teenager who had, quite literally, broken the ice, was a teenager named Jacob. To the people who didn't know him, and had their innate ki-senser abilities turned off for some reason, they would just find him to be an average child. He was quite a special person however, and here is why he is important.

Jacob had been born with an insanely high amount of Ki. The likes of which were only seen in teenagers. This was his starting Ki, of around an unnecessary power level of one hundred and twelve thousand. Let's check the average ki level for ages.

Newborn: 0.1- 1 thousand

Ages 1-5: 2 thousand - 12 thousand

Ages 6-12: 15 thousand - 100 thousand

Ages 13-18: 110 thousand - 500 thousand

Ages 19+: 600 thousand and up

As you can see, by this really bad power chart, he was just above the average power level for a thirteen year old, and that was when he was a newborn. His power kept growing as he got older, going above what was normally possible for a ki-utilising human being. When he was five, he had reached level five hundred thousand in his ki level, and as he got older, that level got even higher. He had unlocked his Ki ability at the age of two, and had found it out to be, somehow, both Ranged and Melee, and it was of the Ice Element.

At the current time of the story, Jacob was seventeen, and had an insane power level of around nine million. He was around nine times stronger than everyone else in the school that Aaron would be attending. He had attended the school for a year prior to this, and had made his presence well known throughout the school. He did have one raging flaw though.

He was an absolute asshole.

He had made his prescense known by being an absolute dick to the people around him, and beating them up if they said anything back to him. He had overthrown the order of power in the school, and he did it while being an absolute dick to everyone. The only reason he hadn't gone after Aaron the second he had walked out of the shop, and he wanted to SO much, was because he wanted Aaron to experience the true fear of being prepared for a fight, and then being absolutely crushed. If he went and fought now, he would persevere while in school, and that's not what Jacob wanted. Jacob wanted to, and he was quoted saying this, "Crush the little shit into the ground".

Who quoted him? Some random person on the street who had overheard their conversation. Also, one of his friends.

Jacob had a nickname which made him soar in popularity and respect. "The Savant". It was one that he liked, and definitely not one he came up with himself, in his narcissistic head. Although, it did suit him well, considering his insane Ki level.

Aaron walked over to the family car, and felt a strong aura of Ki from a nearby alleyway. He still didn't understand why he could sense Ki, but he reasoned that it must be similar enough to mana. As the car started up, and drove by the alleyway, Aaron took a look out the window, to see what the source was.

He then saw an unknown figure, at least to him, standing there. His skin was a pale white, with his hair a void-like black. He was wearing a black jacket, which was covering a blood-red t-shirt. He was wearing a black tracksuit, which had two white stripes running down the right hand side.

He saw ice floating around the person, but he wasn't able to tell what he was planning to do with it. That was until a devious smile broke out upon the teenagers face, as the ice began to point towards the moving vehicle. Jacob clicked his fingers, and the ice went flying toward sthhe car. Jacob had decided against his original plan, and had now decided to destroy the little shit before he got the chance to do anything. It was much more fun for him now.

The car was stabbed by the ice, as it left massive holes in the sides of it. Shards of ice impaled themselves into Aaron, as his body began something of a pincushion, spiked with icy pins. Steven and Elise had also been hit by some of the spikes, as the car ground to a halt. Aaron held back screams of pain, as he got out of the car, and began to lift his hand up.

"Graviton Pu-"

His voice was cut off, as Jacob sent another flurry of icy spikes towards him, piercing even more. He began to break them off one by one, his hands became colder than one could imagine, having to break off ice spikes which had their cold factor enhanced by ten. Before he could break off a third one, however, Aaron was pulled up by his hair, as Jacob lifted him into the air.

"Not gonna work on me, you little shit. I saw what you pulled in the SLAVAL. I'm not going to fall for it. You think that you are oh so powerful, being able to manipulate gravity, and conceal your Ki level, huh? Well, say goodbye to your life, you useless fuck!"

Aaron saw five ice spikes appear in front of him, as Jacob smiled the smile of a psychopath. The spikes pulled back, and slammed forward, as Aaron closed his eyes. This was the end of this life, huh? He hadn't even gotten to prove himself to the world.

The ice didn't hit him. Aaron opened his eyes, and the ice spikes were right in front of his eyes, and this made him close his eyes in fear for around a second, before he realised that they were missing. He couldn't feel anything. Even though he was suspended in the air by his hair, he wasn't able to feel the pain. Then, something curious happened.

The system spoke to him.
