Aaron walked out of Alec's house, watching as Alec and Monument followed behind him. Alec had explained the situation to his mother, and after a bit of thinking, decided to let him go. "You have a very lenient mother, Alec," Aaron commented, drawing the attention of Alec. "If I had to ask my mother, she definitely would have said no, if she was still alive."
Aaron's mother wasn't actually dead, at least he hoped she wasn't, but he just wanted to make Alec feel good with what he has. After all, it makes people happy or content, knowing they have something that someone else does, no matter how big or small it is. Aaron's technique worked, as Alec appeared to ease up a little bit. He was tense, knowing that he was going on a journey with somebody who saved his mother.
"Well, thank you, Aaron," Alec replied with a smile on his face. "She must have felt grateful for me bringing you to her. Still, I don't understand how you did it. Would you mind explaining your ability to me?"
"Sure, I could, but I need to find out how to explain it to you without the abilities sounding too confusing," Aaron responded, having a miniature crisis in his head. 'Shit! I told him I'd let him know my abilities, but how do I explain God-Eater or Boundless Telekinesis?!' Aaron mentally screamed.
[You know that there is the option of just saying your ability grants you abilities, right?] The System pointed out, lighting a lightbulb in Aaron's mind. 'System, you are a fucking GENIUS!' Aaron told the System, who just began to laugh.
[You know, I don't have a name. Feel like giving me one?] The System asked Aaron, causing him to stop his train of thought. 'A name? I've always just called you System, but I can think of a name for you if you want.' Aaron answered, leaving the system content with his answer.
[Thanks, Aaron. Having a name actually gives you an identity, so it's much more fitting than System.]
Aaron smiled as he turned his attention to Alec once again. "Listen, if you want to get the best explanation you can, let's go outside of the city first, alright? It'll give you the best chance at understanding my ability." Aaron answered Alec, who was confused. "Why would we need to outside of the city? I know everyone gets abilities from summoning monsters, but why would we need to go outside to show me your abilities?" Alec asked in confusion, wondering why Aaron wanted to go outside of the city for such a reason.
"We'll be going outside the city anyway, so think of it as a side-quest to us going to fight a guardian." Aaron reasoned as he began walking. It left Alec with many questions, but he decided to ask them once he got to see Aaron's skills. Monument just stayed quiet, not wanting to interrupt.
Monument took the lead, giving directions to Aaron as to which way they should go, as Aaron wasn't bothered learning the way for himself. It gave Monument a current purpose, as he'd only serve a greater purpose later. Alec was following behind the pair, unsure of what to do. Aaron saw this and grabbed him by the shoulder, dragging him closer to himself and Monument. "You don't need to walk behind us, Alec. We're all equals in potential. I'm just further along in the path." Aaron stated, clapping Alec on the back, making sure not to do it hard, as he didn't want to shatter the boy into multiple pieces.
Alec felt his back bend slightly under the light tap by Aaron. He was stronger than him, so he needed to make sure he and Aaron never got onto the wrong side of each other. "Alright then, Aaron." Alec nervously replied, walking a bit faster so that he wouldn't fall behind. Aaron apparently walked quite fast.
Soon enough, they reached the entrance/exit they needed to leave from, and Aaron spotted the two guards he had seen earlier. "Oh, hey guards!" Aaron yelled out, gaining their attention. They were immediately on guard, but when they saw that the person who yelled that was the person in armour they met earlier, they lowered their guard, smiling and waving to him as he, Alec, and Monument left.
News about Monument's disappearance just was announced to the king, and he was enraged. Did someone dare aid Monument in leaving his cave? It was treason! He rushed towards the announcement room, a room with a giant crystal floating in the centre of the room, which acted as a video message to the entire city. The King and Queen liked to move between the different towns or cities in their nation, so it was lucky that they were there.
He activated the 'Broadcast Crystal' by tapping it with his hand while infused with magic. Large magical screens flickered to life all across the city, startling the citizens, as they weren't expecting a magical broadcast today. It only was activated during holidays or times of emergency.
"𝘔𝘺 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘯𝘴! 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘵! 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘎𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯, 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨!" The king announced as his voice was heard across the kingdom, sending shock and fear running through the crowds of citizens. Now they knew why this wasn't good, as it could only mean one future event.
"𝘈𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸, 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴. 𝘐𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭-𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘴! 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦! The king declared, his face as cold as stone on the magical screens. He wasn't joking around. The people began to panic, knowing that the life they knew was going to end.
A man stood in the back alleyway as a strange emblem emblazoned his clothes. He smiled and then began to laugh like mad as he walked away from one of the screens. "Finally! Now we can finally take over. Flameroyle shall become the largest country on the planet, and we will take everything!
I have no imagination, so I'm going to leave the name to the system up to you guys lmao
Comment a suitable name for it lol
Although if you want to make it an innuendo that's fine with me lmao
