Skelengel; Tales Of The Boundless One [Not Updating]

When the universe creates a person, they are bestowed with certain traits that we, as mere humans, are aware of. Sportiness, the ability to work with computers, and creativity are all things we may obtain at creation. However, some of those talents extend far past the mortal realm of flesh and blood. They go all the way to your very soul, and these are the ones that we cannot see. These few are destined to become Boundless. And it just so happens that one was designated to die on the fateful day a new god took sight over the earth. This is the tale of Aaron Stone, the once businessman turned planetary traverser. Aided by himself and his potential, he plans to live out his life with peace of mind. However, the universe has it out for him, and it won't let him ever have true peace. However, someone from behind the shadows controls everything, and they have quite a distaste for Aaron Stone. They will try to make his life a living hell. Everything you read here is an account of something going on in the vast universe. Hell, who knows... It may even be YOU who takes his place in the future. Giving Life to Magic

Aaron realised something. It was to do with his mana Affinity and Light Magic Skills. They were level one. He was trying too hard to grab at them. He had no mana points yet, after all. If his system was truly like a game, then, once he unlocked his magic, he would get an [MP] stat, which would allow him to cast more magic.

He sat down in his cave, and started thinking about simply giving life to a small ball of light. His hand grew closer and closer to the ball of thread in his brain, until he grabbed it, and pulled the thread outwards, dragging out all the magic he could get. In his right hand, a small ball of light formed.

[MP Unlocked]

[MP cannot be upgraded with bio points. Levelling up and evolving is the only way to upgrade this stat]

'So, MP is a stat which cannot be enhanced with Bio Points, huh? Well, at least I know that for the future.'

That was disappointing. He had the idea of unlocking his MP stat, and then spending all of his Bio Points on it, so that he could activate more magic in the future. He decided to go check his MP Stat, to see what he would need to work with.

[MP: Boundless (Unknown)]

'What the hell? Surely it should know what it's capable of, right? It says unknown, and I don't know how to take it. Does it mean none at all? Well, no, because I made this ball of light. Does it mean that it is too high? I don't think so, but the "Boundless" part definitely seems strange.'

.

Well, now, what to do? Aaron had an idea with his magic, but he first wanted to test if it was possible. He began pulling out the thread from the large ball on his mind, this time it being extremely easy, as he pulled it, and molded it into a shape in his mind. He imagined his left arm, and, using light energy, created a pointed blade of light built onto his arm, like an attachment.

He looked down at his left arm, as a semi-wobbly blade of light attached itself to his arm.

[Magic Affinity is now Lv. 2!]

The blade then became straighter, and sharper, looking like a proper blade of light had erupted from his arm.

In his right hand, he held his Bone Blade which he was using to cut up chunks if meat, and his other hand had become a sword. Time for some action!

Aaron stepped outside of his cave, as he lifted his arms to his face, as he ran into the frey of monsters, attempting to slice every monster who stood in his way.

He ran up behind a large bat-like monster, and jumped above it, bringing his left arm downwards as he descended. The blade of light cut right through it, as the bat split in half, blue-black blood flying into some of the other monsters.

'This works extremely well. Let me try something.'

There were three monsters standing near the wall that Aaron carved his cave in. He decided to test out something with his blade of light.

He swing his arm, and thought about it detaching, and it did. It went flying towards the monsters, stabbing through them, and pinning them to the wall, like it was a spear.

'Alright, so now I know I can do that. Let's try something more extravagant. Soemthing much more...deadly.'

Aaron flapped his wings, and floated into the air, like an angel, as he pointed his finger up to the ceiling. He imagined a giant ball of light, while pulling at the thread in his mind, and at his fingertips, a shining ball of light that was ten meters in diameter formed. He flung it down, and watched as the ground, and the monsters on it, was absorbed by this destructive ball of light. The ball then exploded, causing around a hundred monsters to be flung to the walls, some dying due to the force of their impact.

'Oh shit. That...uh...wasn't what I expected. I thought something else would happen, but I was wrong.'

What Aaron expected to happen was that he would have thrown the ball of light down, and it would have been somewhat smaller, and have less of an explosion, but it was bigger than he intended, and caused a massive death of monsters.

Alright, he's definitely gonna use that later.

He looked around. The unaffected monsters didn't even notice, as they just kept on fighting amongst themselves, but monsters that had been hit, but didn't die from thhe attack were visibly confused. It was Soemthing thhe had never been attacked by before, and they couldn't see anything on the ground with that amount of power.

Aaron looked down at them, as he had one last idea. He aimed his right hand towards the ground, as he dragged more thread out from his mind. His hand filled up with a glowing white energy, as it shot out of his hand. It acted like a laser.

The laser blasted through the monsters, disintegrating whatever monster flesh it touched, as the monster tried to attack it, thinking the laser was a sentient enemy. Three monsters died due to this laser, as Aaron heard words that sounded like music to his non-existent ears.
