"You dare call me weak, monster?!" The Demon King screamed, his face almost looking like that or the Original Ganondorf. A pig's head with blue skin. Aaron simply smiled as he stared at the Demon King directly in his eyes. "You ARE weak. I can even tell from here." Aaron tainted him, angering the Demon. "Fine! You'll be first, and then the child will be next! She was sent out as a sacrifice, so she deserves to die!" He yelled as Aaron felt the ground snap away from him. He looked around, seeing all but an infinite void. The Demon King floated over with a smug look on his face. "This is MY world, where you can't leave until one of us dies. I have the advantage of all my attacks hitting, though! You couldn't beat me even if you wanted-" The Demon King yelled before Aaron got bored of listening to him.
Aaron teleported behind him and said three words. "You bore me," Aaron stated before his hand impacted against the Demon King's back, sending a shockwave forward. Aaron watched as the internal organs of the Demon King shot out forward, leaving a hole in his chest. He smiled as he saw that the Demon King was still conscious. "You never had the chance to be a 'Big Shot', as a guy I once knew would have said. You're just a 'little sponge' in my eyes. Also, about that sacrifice thing. Yeah, not happening. Nobody needs to be sacrificed." Aaron mocked him as he died, forcing Aaron to leave the Demon King's world. Both Aaron and the dead body of the Demon King were sent to the real world, leaving the small child in shock. They had seen the pair disappear, and now the Demon King was dead. The child didn't know how to react, so they just stood there, paralysed with fear.
"Imagine. Calling yourself a Demon King with that level of power. You wouldn't even be a threat to Alec, let alone me. If you ever revive again, become far more powerful, or just font announce yourself as a Demon King." Aaron scoffed before turning away from the body, setting it aflame as he did. The flames were a pink colour, and it almost looked as if they were disintegrating the body. Aaron clapped his hands together, removing any dust that could have been on them, before turning to look at the child. "You OK?" Aaron asked, extending his hand once more. The child didn't know how t react to what had just happened. The light from the pink fire was burning bright, so all they were able to coherently say was one sentence. "What are you...?" The child asked, their face nor voice revealing their gender.
"Well, that's a difficult question to answer, young one. I could easily spout lies towards you, but I shall tell you straight. I am special. I possess much more power than the Demon King, and I'm even friends with the Demon Lord. Want to talk to him?" Aaron asked as the iris of the child shrunk to almost nothing. "D-d-d-demon Lord?! That's a myth! A legend!" The child yelled out as Aaron simply smiled at them. "Crystet! Would you mind showing yourself?" Aaron yelled towards Crystet, turning to face him. Crystet smiled from behind the trees and decided to make a grand appearance.
His wings shot out from behind his back, covering a meter in wingspan. He walked out from behind the trees, all four of his eyes purely red with the destruction of souls in mind. He didn't know how he could or why, but he just could. The child looked at him, slowly edging away from him. She needed to get away from this pair. "Crystet, stop trying to intimidate the child. There's a burning Demon King corpse over there. They're probably scared enough." Aaron told Crystet, who almost immediately made his eyes turn back to normal. "I know, but I swear, It'll take me so long to get used to seeing through four eyes. Using that ability actually lets me see through two eyes if I so choose." Crystet explained, causing Aaron to realise the benefits and disadvantages of such an ability. "Crystet, if you train your four eyes, you'll be a much more skilled fighter than any other. You'll have a much wider field of view, and you'll be able to react much quicker because of it. After all, the quicker you see them, the more time you have to respond." Aaron pointed out, watching as Crystet slowly began to realise the logic behind what he was saying.
"Anyways, that's beside the point. Child, meet the Demon Lord Crystet. Think of it as early access to seeing what the two most powerful people on this planet look like." Aaron suggested, pointing out the positive side of what was happening. "Wh...what do you plan on doing with me?" The child asked Aaron, who actually didn't have an answer. "Honestly, nothing. The Demon King said you were a sacrifice, so I guess you aren't anymore, but that does pose the question of what'd happen to you if you went back to the people who originally put you up for sacrifice." Aaron pondered. "I mean, we may be monsters, but we aren't THAT cruel. After all, if we were level of evil, you'd probably be dead by now." Aaron admitted after thinking for a second.
"I wasn't liked in the village. I have a 'rare' defect which makes it so that my brain doesn't work like other people's, and I was shunned for it." The child explained, piquing Aaron and Crystet's interest. A similar case to them? Well, not the same, but nonetheless intriguing. "I tend to think of the quickest and easiest way out of situations, even if that involves the intentional death of people. I don't like it, but that's what happens. I know I can't outrun you, so there's no point in even trying. In all honesty, the only ways I can see myself getting out of this situation are by dying, or you spare me."
"Wow. A broken person. Just like the two of us." Aaron whispered to himself. "Too bad it's just a child."
Imagine. This book has like 173k words as of publishing.
