Skelengel; Tales Of The Boundless One [Not Updating]

When the universe creates a person, they are bestowed with certain traits that we, as mere humans, are aware of. Sportiness, the ability to work with computers, and creativity are all things we may obtain at creation. However, some of those talents extend far past the mortal realm of flesh and blood. They go all the way to your very soul, and these are the ones that we cannot see. These few are destined to become Boundless. And it just so happens that one was designated to die on the fateful day a new god took sight over the earth. This is the tale of Aaron Stone, the once businessman turned planetary traverser. Aided by himself and his potential, he plans to live out his life with peace of mind. However, the universe has it out for him, and it won't let him ever have true peace. However, someone from behind the shadows controls everything, and they have quite a distaste for Aaron Stone. They will try to make his life a living hell. Everything you read here is an account of something going on in the vast universe. Hell, who knows... It may even be YOU who takes his place in the future. Contemplation

Aaron sat down, Coranth following his movements. "What do you think we should do? After all, you just gave me three million in this world's currency. We can spend this stuff on whatever we want." Aaron responded, the black void from behind his eyes slowly crawling out of his skull, his pupils disappearing. "Aaron?! What the hell is that?!" Oliver yelled in surprise, causing Aaron to chuckle. "It's just a friend of mine. I can never be lonely again when this guy is around, for better or worse." Aaron explained, the final dredges of Soul leaving his eyes as it slowly made its way down his left arm.

The black liquid let small pink lines form along its body, taking the form of Soul. Soul's body turned into its humanoid self, sitting down beside Aaron. "Well, I didn't expect you to make yourself known so soon, Soul." Aaron commented. "Well, you can't expect to have a chat with another Boundless person without me being involved, can you?" Soul countered, confusing Oliver. "Wait, so there are two of you in the same body? What the hell is going on?" Oliver asked in bewilderment as Aaron chuckled in response. "You're right, in a way. I am Aaron Stone, but this is Soul. We are the same person. After all, everyone has someone like Soul hidden deep within them. I just brought Soul out to the surface somehow." Aaron explained, Soul nodding in agreement. "I can browse through Aaron's memories, which is why I know how it speaks, but the FIRST memory that I can call my own is me suddenly gaining consciousness. I took the form of something in the back of Aaron's mind, influencing his actions. I was almost like a kid playing a game, and Aaron was my character." Soul explained, casting his mind back to when the system, unnamed at that time, gave Aaron the Boundless Corruption ability. He had looked through Aaron's memories to the point where he knew how he was created.

"I was created to escape a situation, and I'm now a pestering force of nature that follows Aaron around as an equal of sorts. However, if either of us were to die, we would cease to exist from that point on. I mean in the heavens style of dying. I assume you only need to worry about yourself, Oliver." Soul continued, Olive rodding in agreement. "That's what I mean. I need to make sure that Aaron doesn't die, and he needs to make sure that I don't kick the bucket if you know the saying." Soul finished, Oliver's eyes opening wide. "So, let me get this straight. You two are the same person, just different things. Both of you die if one of you dies, and I have something like him deep inside my body?" Oliver tried to clear up, Aaron and Soul nodding as a reply.

"Well, that's something I didn't know when I woke up today," Oliver admitted, stretching his arms into the air. "I honestly never thought of the possibility that multiple Boundless entities could cram themselves into a single body. All we need now is a parasitic Boundless creature to come and create a host with millions of minds in one body." Oliver joked, genuinely shocking Aaron and Soul. Coranth didn't react. This was because he didn't know what was going on. As the seconds passed, Oliver's mind also went into deep thought, realising the implications of the idea he had just brought out into the open.

Aaron was shocked for a different reason than Soul. Aaron was shocked at the possibility that such a creature could exist. After all, if that thing achieved 100% Boundlessness, what kind of things would it be capable of doing? That was what Aaron was contemplating. Soul was scared at how strong of a fighter it could be. After all, with thousands of minds, it'd be able to get multiple brains focused on different tasks, allowing it to speed up its jobs, thought processes AND fighting capabilities. A near-perfect fighting entity with the ability to advance multiple times faster than any creature with a single consciousness. It allows the body to be controlled remotely as well. Just in case the host was somehow separated from the main body. The thought of something that powerful scared Soul, so he stopped thinking about it. It was the quickest way to stop worrying about anything. "Maybe we shouldn't think about that too hard, should we?" Aaron proposed, everyone except for Coranth nodding. Coranth was sitting against the wall, trying to fall asleep as he waited for the others to get done with whatever conversation they were having.

Aaron stood up, flesh forming along his body as a suit was created to cover him. "Well, I think we should do something interesting. After all, we're on this planet until we leave, so we may as well have fun with the time we have here." Aaron said to the group, Oliver looking at him with a suspicious expression. "Now, my idea of fun would be drastically different to yours. What do you suppose we do to pass the time?" Oliver asked, Soul rising into the air. He didn't stand up. Soul just started to lift himself into the air using Boundless Telekinesis. "We could go out and slaughter a few children. However, I don't think that'd be the best thing to do considering our circumstances," Soul said to the pair. This elicitated a shocked response from Aaron. Coranth had been listening in to what they were saying, so he shot up in fear as he heard Soul talk about child slaughtering. "I'm joking! Calm down!" Soul quickly exclaimed, looking at the crowds that were walking past them. "We may not want to do anything too extreme. After all, the second we do that, we bring unwanted attention to ourselves." Oliver noted, Aaron agreeing as Soul nodded his head. "Well, let's set off. We can find some things to do as we go." Oliver told them, being the second-last one to stand up. He was on his feet just before Coranth. He walked to the alleyway's exit, beckoning them over with a hand gesture. They were about to have some fun.

Sorry for the wait! Life is busy over here for me! However, I do believe I'll be able to upload two chapters over the weekend!
