A hammer hit them both from the side, sending them into the arena's wall. Soul and Aaron were both unhurt by it, but they hadn't expected it. They both hopped out of the crater at almost the same time. They dusted off some of the dust that had lined their body, a sigh coming from Aaron's mouth.
Even though a dead version of Bujinjinki was on the ground, a copy of him had hit Soul and Aaron. "Clones, huh?" Soul sighed, looking at the duplicate of Bujinjinki with a smile on his face. "I wonder how many of you are in this arena right now." He asked himself as the doppelganger Bujinjinki rushed towards them.
"Soul, what are you planning?" Aaron asked, both of them dodging out of the way of the clone. "Well, there are two options. We either brutally kill every single one of them until there are none left, or we find where the real Bujinjinki is hiding." Soul explained to Aaron, throwing a small black ball towards Bujijinki. The void-like orb quickly grew in size as it flew through the air, devouring the space around it as if it wouldn't stop until it hit the copy. Soul watched as Bujinjinki was sucked into the black hole. After all, that's what he had thrown at him.
Suddenly, three more copies of Bujinjinki rose from the arena, causing Aaron and Soul to smile. "Are you ready to pop off?" Soul asked, using some language that Aaron was familiar with. "Now you're speaking my language!" Aaron responded, both of them running towards the different Bujinjinkis. Soul used his hands to swing around Bujinjinki's neck, snapping it as he spun. The hammer-wielding clone fell to the ground, allowing Soul to move on to the next one. Aaron did something much more impressive than Soul, however. Aaron used Tsuyukagiri as a stepping stone, keeping it in place with Boundless Telekinesis. Then, as he jumped over his opponent, he used Boundless Telekinesis to bring Tsuyukagiri to his hands. He then dragged Tsuyukagiri along the armour of Bujinjinki, intentionally not piercing the armour.
As Bujinjinki turned to face Aaron, swinging his hammer as a pre-emptive strike, it was too late to make another move. Aaron used Boundless Telekinesis to keep him upright while rotating at an infinite speed using Boundless Infinity (Status). He could keep his body from spinning apart as it had to the Demonoid God by using Boundless Telekinesis to forcefully keep him together. His body sped forward, reaching speeds that not even the gods could comprehend. In less than a nano-second, he pierced the other side of the arena, taking the two clones out with him. Their bodies fell to the floor, their bodies shred beyond comparison. It was almost as if they had been shoved into a paper shredder that never stopped cutting. Aaron removed himself from the wall and hi-fived Soul. They were doing well.
"Well, aren't you quite the show-off?" A voice boomed around the arena, confusing Aaron and Soul. "Are you the real Bujinjinki?" Aaron called out, trying to see who it was. "Yes, I am, if you really must know. I've designed my clones to be extremely...adaptable, shall we say. The next few won't be so easy to take down, now that they've learned about your power." The voice responded as Soul felt the sudden urge to punch that voice in the face. "Well then, send them at us! We'll have no problem taking them down! After all, we all know that we never truly use our full potential unless we really need it!" Soul bluffed, drawing a confused look from Aaron. "Oh, such confidence! I congratulate you!" Bujnjinki announced as ten more clones appeared from the floor. "I congratulate you on signing your death wish!"
Soul and Aaron just shared an almost disinterested look at each other before getting back to what they were doing. It was just as they had done before. Soul went murdering the clones with his hands and feet since he was more a martial fighter. Aaron used his sword since he thought it'd be a waste to not use the eight-foot-long odachi that he had created for himself back on the last planet. Tsuyukagiri had become a viable option for combat ever since he got the hang of it, along with its abilities.
In around fifteen seconds, all the clones were killed in different ways. Soul had spiked them with Corruption, Corrupted them and forced them to kill each other, or even just snapped their necks. Aaron had gone for the artistic route. He used his sword to carve letters into both the armour and flesh of the clones. When he was done, he used Boundless Telekinesis to arrange the bodies of the six clones he had killed and watched as they spelt out the following message.
"GL BOZO." Which stood for "Good Luck, Bozo."
After all, he was insulting Bujinjinki. Might as well make it fun while he did so.
"Oh, aren't you a brave one?" Bujinjinki laughed, two more clones making themselves visible. "Defeat my final two clones, and then I'll take you on myself!"
Soul and Aaron just sighed, hoping to get this over with. They each rushed at one of the copies, smiles on their faces. Soul used Boundless Corruption to stab the clone he was taking down with a spear made of pure Corruption. The clone fell to the ground as Aaron finalised his kill. In the time it had taken Soul to do that, Aaron had chopped off both arms and legs of the duplicate Bujinjinki, leaving the head till last. Aaron used the right arm of Bujinjinki to bash the clone's head in. It was satisfying, to say the least. Aaron dropped the two limbs to his sides, a relaxed expression on his face. That was almost therapeutic for Aaron, as he was just getting all of his energy out before it was time to go back to another planet.
"Well done. Now, onto the REAL boss fight!" Bujinjinki yelled, the arena breaking apart as a colossal armoured foot slammed down in front of them. It was him. He was here.
Bujinjinki had shown himself, and he wasn't playing around.
