Aaron made the copied soul of light vanish, as he didn't have any place to store it. He needed to unlock a storage ability at some point. Aaron held the original soul of light under his shoulder, and all Aaron could do was wait for something to happen. He then heard a voice proclaiming out to a group of gods.
{There you have it, folks! We have our winner, who showed us an impressive trick with the soul! That concludes the Quest for Boundlessness! We hope to see you again once the next match starts!} The voice announced to Aaron as he realised what was happening.
"Oh, fuck. This isn't good. At all!" Aaron yelled out, grabbing his head with his hands. "I've just shown people what abilities I can use, and now I'm not going to get a moment's peace!"
Aaron watched the ground fall away from him as he was sent back up to Takamagahara. He was unsure of what he was about to see, but he was sure it wasn't going to be good. As he was travelling through the stars, he got a new notification from the system, although, this time, it was not an announcement.
{Boundless Percentage Increased from 10% to 15%}
{Skill Noticed: Blessing of the Boundless One}
{Title Recognised: Boundless Blessing}
{Boundless Percentage increased to 20%}
'Well, now I've got something new to say I got. Twenty percent Boundless, huh? It's a new milestone!' Aaron positively thought as he finally arrived at Takamagahara. He was prepared for crowds of people to rush towards him, but it was just Crystet, Alex and Shadow there. Shadow must have popped in during the time he was gone.
"Oh, thank god. I was honestly expecting a load of gods to come after me in hopes of getting one of those Purified Souls. I am not giving one out to all the gods." Aaron commented, making sure his point got across.
He jinxed himself.
Aaron watched as, on the horizon, many many gods began running towards him like power-hungry maniacs. "Oh god damn it," Aaron muttered as they approached closer and closer. Arron lifted his hand, creating a black portal in the air. Even from a distance, Aaron could feel the hope radiating from the crow, and he was going to have fun shutting them down. He wasn't going to give them power. It wasn't his place.
A blue light shone from the portal and fired out, splitting into ten different attacks. Aaron watched as the gods stood there, confused. The blue lights arced towards the crowd, and Aaron made them explode, making the knockback as severe as possible, just so that they would leave him alone. He wanted to just get them away.
A blue explosion shook the horizon, ten small bombs of energy leaving a damaging cloud in their wake. Aaron didn't want to go near the other gods right now, so keeping them away was the only solution. Aaron prepared another attack, but when the clouds of energy dispersed, he saw nobody there. They had all been sent flying away. Aaron smiled at what he had done, and Shadow was just left speechless.
"I knew you were powerful, but this? This is just too much." Shadow muttered, trying to figure out how Aaron was so powerful. He was able to multiply a soul and even participate in a game designed for people on par with Demonoid Gods. Those monsters were on par with people in the council. Every other god feared them, yet they were afraid of a Demonoid God, so for Aaron to be more powerful than them is extraordinary.
"Huh? Did you say something, Shadow?" Aaron asked, turning around to face the formless spirit. She was a god, yet she hadn't reached the stage of forming a silhouette. "I didn't hear what you said because of the explosions."
"Don't worry about it. I'm just here to remind you that the council want to see you because you are now an anomaly. Don't ask me what you're going to talk about, because I don't know. Nobody has ever been directly called by the council members themselves, so this is a big deal." Shadow explained as Aaron remembered what he needed to do before getting excited over his Boundless Interdimensional Summon.
"Oh, I forgot about that. I really don't WANT to go, but I'm guessing something bad will happen if I don't go?" Aaron mockingly complained, guessing the outcome. "I want to mess around with my abilities, and going there would get in the way of my experimentation. I want to make an apple do something infinitely, and it'd be funny to make an apple of all things turn into a nuclear weapon."
"First off, you are insane for wanting to turn an apple into a nuclear warhead, and two, you are correct. Something bad will happen if you don't attend. You'll annoy Algenon, and then he'll nag at us until you go. I'm speaking from experience here. If you are called to go to the council by anyone, and you do not go, he will complain about it to your face." Shadow explained as Aaron realised why he shouldn't go.
"It'd be funny to see him angry I'm not even going to lie." Aaron blatantly stated as Shadow floated up to his face. "You WILL go, as I'm not going to deal with HIS complaining! I'm the one that brought you to the new planet, so I have to take responsibility. You have to go if you don't want our brains, or well, minds, to become no more than unresponsive units. Useless. So, would you go talk to some cocky picks at the council or die to a man getting angry for you not attending?" Shadow rebuked, leaving Aaron with little choice.
"I don't feel like dying. I'll go." Aaron simply responded as Shadow counted that as a victory against Aaron in her books.
Alec and Crystet were both confused and curious, so with a single unified "What the fuck just happened?" under their breath, they followed along, making sure nothing else strange happened.
