episode 68 Sophia Renji

The team went to meet the legendary eternal man just to find out what the clue says, "Donlo" informed them it's a language of "Akarian" mages, though all "Akarians" are now extinct but one remains beyond their reach, they were later sent back to earth while "Donlo" will try to crack the code, will they receive the message or will it be delayed for the next a few days?

It's a school day, "Wreck" is doing math activity with the rest of the class.

Wreck: (it's finally a normal day after going through the 7 mysteries adventure, but I can't let "Keti" be out of sight since we had no answer to why the demons are after her, I hope that all goes well ends well).

During the after class the whole team were meeting up as always at the chemistry lab, "Landy" is playing with "Puri" a game of tag.

Wreck: hi guys, are we waiting for the message today?

Keti: is that even a question? If he can't bring out the message then it's all on you.

Wreck: I will look forward to it…it's oddly quiet during these days, "Grimm" did get what he needed, is no one gonna say a thing about it?

Keti: do you want something to happen?

Fey: I could hit you with my booster flame, maybe it will lighten things up.

Seth: I'm good, all I can do from here is to just look after "Keti" until this is over.

Suddenly "Hanako" enters the chemistry lab floating around the room, somehow her skirt is dripping toilet water like a Fausset that wasn't closed completely.

Keti: look at that, "Hanako" just left the toilet, happy now?

Wreck: "Hanako" not in the toilet isn't a good sign.

Fey: hi "Hanako", are you crying over there?

Hanako: [smile] I'm glad you noticed; it's only been a day since "That" happened.

Keti: oh, right, do you have like a request for us?

Hanako: a bunny once used to come every day, she was so thankful and praising to the landlord of that certain place, one day the bunny hasn't come, the landlord was worried, the next day she hasn't come, not even the very next day, the landlord is wondering, did she die? Was there a fox that day?

Keti: in other words, there's a student you wish to see again but somehow absent for the whole school days.

Hanako: please help me get her back, that would be great, her name is "Sophia Renji".

Fey: do you know the reasons to why the student might be absent?

Keti: probably something about a high fever or being school sick if that's what it takes.

Wreck: seems like a plan, we better contact her parents and see if they 're gonna say something about it.

Keti: that's a great idea, let's head to the principal's office, he might have their number.

The team went to ask the principal to contact "Sophia's" parents, they all then went to the hospital just to see her lying on the bed in a deep slumber.

Sophia's dad: I thank you for coming here, she doesn't get any visitors to come here, she hasn't woken up since a week ago, the doctors say that everything was normal about her, her heart beat, her brain waves, she was sleeping through all that and yet…[cry] I want my precious daughter to wake through all that.

Keti: "Wreck", do you know of any decease that causes this?

Wreck: not the one that I wouldn't notice about, mostly something like eternal slumber is one thing, but something like 10 years of coma isn't the only event that can occur.

Puri: I can sense that a curse was left on her.

Seth: just leave it to us, sir, we'll make sure she wakes up.

Sophia's dad: such kind words, I wish it were true.

"Sophia's" dad left the room, leaving the team with her to do their job.

Keti: alright you guys, let's get to business, "Puri", can you remove the curse from her.

Puri: I could try… [hand sign, chanting] evil curse, get of her body.

"Puri" used her chants to try removing the curse, it somehow dragged the curse forcing it out of her, suddenly the curse gets sucked back into her body, "Wreck" grabs it before it could even get back completely, as he pulls it off of her the heart rate beats faster, once the curse is released from her, the heart rate return to beating normally, but the curse won't stay quiet and tried to move around and break loose from "Wreck's" hands.

Seth: "Wreck", hold it still.

"Seth" used his katana to kill and destroy the curse.

Keti: alright, it looks like our work here is finished, and now for the sleeping beauty to wake up from her slumber.

Somehow "Sophia" is not waking up, an hour has passed since then and still she didn't wake up.

Fey: she hasn't woken up.

Keti: "Wreck", can I borrow your alchemy grinding, we won't be using anything around the room to shift.

Wreck: yeah sure.

"Wreck" pulled out his chalk and began alchemy grinding, eventually she asked for all sorts of tools to force her wake up but nothing worked, they eventually tried "Fey's" booster flames and still did not wake her.

Keti: this doesn't make any sense, is it not possible to break the 10 years coma?

Wreck: let me see if there's something wrong with her [reach out to "Sophia"].

Keti: [grab hand] don't do that.

Seth: "Keti", this is about waking "Sophia" from her deep slumber, right? Then why not let "Wreck" see if there is something other than a coma that kept her from waking up? Maybe it's something within the body.

Keti: [sigh] sometimes I feel that anything that involves repopulation or going through the whole body is disturbing, fine, you better not do any funny business, let's wait outside.

Fey: what about "Sophia"?

Keti: "Wreck" needs to focus, right? Then all he needs is a peace and quiet room to do so.

The whole team but "Wreck" left the room so he can focus on his work, he reached out his hand to see if there is something wrong with her, it was hard since he couldn't find any organ failures or harmful substance that can break the cells, it has been over an hour since then, "Wreck" lied on the side of the room with his feet covering his face.

Wreck: that's just not possible, there is no such case like this can be called a coma, this is something beyond the doctor's knowledge, this can't be…there must be something we're missing.

Eventually he decides to stand up, put his hands on her and try shift her to wake up.

Wreck: [yell] I'm not quitting just yet, you have friends waiting for you back in school and I'm not gonna leave until you wake up… come on, "Sophia", open your eyes, your dad is waiting for you outside… wake uuuuuuuuuuuuuup.

"Wreck" goes complete eternal mode and caused an energy explosion that looked like a barrier covering the whole hospital and a blue beam blasted from the middle through the sky, this explosion only lasted a few second, "Wreck" suddenly canceled his complete eternal mode and started suffocating again, the team entered the room worried about what happened, a few moments later "Wreck" regained his ability to breath and a number of patients began to leave their room feeling in good health.

Keti: what happened? Did you find the cause?

Wreck: …let's just say…there was no cause existing at all, "Sophia Renji" is in a permanent coma.

Sophia's dad: [shocked, terrified] is that really true?

Wreck: …that's just how it seems, there's no other way to explain it.

Fey: guess we have to inform her bestie at school about this, there's no other way.

Keti: so, what are you going to do now? It would be pointless since there is no other cases around the hospital that leads to "Sophia".

Wreck: I'm…going to stay, I'll try to figure things out.

Keti: alright, [softly punch chest] …good luck, we're going to try finding information about her in school.

"Wreck" stayed at the hospital while the others left so he can try finding a hidden case, he sat next to "Sophia", thinking of a way to see what causes her to sleep, it hasn't been more than 2 days as the class is getting wary of "Wreck's" absence from the school, during the after school the team are getting worried that "Wreck" hasn't returned.

Puri: 2 days have passed since "Wreck" made that decision, is he gonna be fine?

Keti: we were also trying to find out about "Sophia", somehow no one said a damn thing about her.

Fey: it must be something they can't talk about her, was she dangerous?

Suddenly "Rin" enters the chemistry class hoping to see "Wreck".

Rin: …does anyone know what happened to "Veganson".

"Wreck" kept on looking at her thinking with his finger on his lips, "Rin" arrives to see him looking at "Sophia".

Rin: is she asleep?

Wreck: [shocked, surprised] oh, hi "Rin", you startled me, I wouldn't call that sleeping if she can't wake up from every single method, she'll be stuck like this forever if we can't find the cause of her slumber, somehow every single method used has shown that this is the most-rarest case anyone laid eyes on.

Rin: is she your friend? When did you 2 meet?

Wreck: you sound like you know something about her, her father was sick worried for such case to happen to his daughter, if I could just break her sleep, would she have come to school with us? Will she ever meet her best friend that's been waiting for her all this time? Such bad luck shouldn't happen to someone at her age, some might say luck of every being is dependent on the will of the god, some might say that bad luck is cast by a puppeteer who enjoys playing with its victims, for the rest of eternity.

Rin: … (I see, if bad luck can be broken by someone's trust… "Veganson" wouldn't give up on a case like this until it was solved, is this why you won't attend classes)? [sigh] I know "Sophia" since she was little, always so weak and fragile that bullies would come to hurt her, she was always in bigger pain even if she tried to fight back, most of the cases caused bad luck to her every time and anywhere she goes, till one day she stopped attending classes, I didn't even have the courage to go see her, thought it might make it worse.

Wreck: … that's it, now I just figured it out to why she wouldn't wake up, it totally slipped my mind.

"Wreck" comes out of the room to see the team and "Sophia's" dad.

Keti: [surprised] "Wreck"! did you do it? Did you wake her up?

Wreck: not yet, but I figured out why she can't wake up, it's because she doesn't want to wake up, her mind was set on living her own fantasy.

Sophia's dad: but you just said that there was nothing causing her to sleep, you told me it was a permanent coma.

Wreck: it's just how it looked like, but let's think therapy, I'm living in a world where every second there's a misfortune coming my way, and I have no way to dodge it, is that even a world for me?

Keti: [surprised] but who would want to live in such a world? I'd rather k-, [shocked] wait, are you saying "Sophia Renji" would refuse to wake up because of how the things are going for her in reality?

Seth: so, what's the plan now?

Wreck: to wake up "Sophia" we need to deal with her in her mind, that would mean we need to dive into her mind.

The team were confused from the word dive so, they looked totally clueless about it.
