episode 59 Misaki stairs

1 mystery has signed the paper, 6 are left and yet the team has gone planning for their next move to get closer to the truth and finish the trial.

1 day after meeting "Hanako", the team are meeting in the cafeteria.

Keti: now that we have 1 mystery signed the paper, we need to plan for the next one.

Fey: "Komito", have you ever been in every domain of the 7 mysteries?

Wreck: nope, there is no access to those domains from "Skarven", this was my first time entering one, I only read it in the books all about them one by one, it makes it look very easy when you're a "Skarvenian", except when you interact with them.

Keti: alright, since you're not giving any opinion, how about we go for the "Misaki" stairs next?

Wreck: good choice, the "Misaki" stairs is not that dire, all we need to do is get her a fine vessel so she can be convinced.

Keti: I know that part of the story.

Fey: how can we look for the "Misaki" stairs?

Keti: they say blood flows from the fourth step, people who walk on those stairs can't actually enter the "Misaki" stairs because of their lack of belief.

Wreck: only those who knows about this mystery would be able to trigger an entrance as long as you take the fourth step.

Fey: are we going to go there now?

After school the team stood right in front of the stairs.

Fey: does it have to be after school?

Wreck: as boring as it might be, we had to finish class to avoid unnecessary fouls, talk to "Keti" if you don't like the idea.

Keti: okay, guys…we count 4 steps to enter, and by that, I mean we hold hands to be together and not get lost at the process…ready?

They held hands and counted as they walk on every step, at the fourth step "Wreck" is the only one who did not enter the domain.

Wreck: [dull] …figures as much, she knows the consequences of allowing me into her trials.

The team are now in the domain of "Misaki" stairs, there are a lot of broken dolls on the corners of the stairs, the sky is greenish yellow sky, and the stair way is endless.

Seth: is this what a domain looks like?

Fey: where's "Komito"?

Keti: guess we have to keep moving then.

Seth: wait, why isn't "Wreck" with us?

Keti: … how should I know? Maybe they knew the consequence of letting him in.

Seth: I hope you're right about this.

Keti: let's get a move on, we have to prepare a fine vessel for "Misaki".

Fey: [excited] ¯we're preparing a vessel, worthy for "Misaki"¯, say…shouldn't there be more stuffs other than old oaf dolls around here?

Suddenly boxes started to appear from the sky, in every box there are body parts, the broken dolls stood up and pointed at a door that appeared out of nowhere.

Seth: look, there is a door to another room, they want us to go there.

Keti: quick, build up a vessel, we need to prepare a good one before going there.

Fey: I bet my build would be a good one.

They quickly went searching on each box, the body parts look much weirder than they thought, they tried their best to build their own vessels to be delivered for "Misaki", after building their own vessels they carried them on their backs and walked towards that door.

Fey: that is a finest vessel you've got.

Keti: oh, thank you.

Seth: I bet mine is more lively.

Keti: with that huge butt it has? Who would want to have that?

Once they reached the door it opened immediately, what awaits them is a puppet on a shape of a woman wearing a yukata.

Puppet: "Misaki" …awaits.

Keti: too bad "Wreck" won't be able to see this.

Seth: all we have to do now is give "Misaki" the vessels we've built.

They dropped their vessels on the ground for the puppet to see, the puppet moved and went to check each vessel.

Keti: I hope this works, we need this mystery to sign the paper sheet.

Seth: it's all or nothing.

Fey: my vessel is the finest, right?

Keti: [sweat] we don't play these games, "Fujimori".

Seth: just accept it, these vessels are the finest we've ever made for you.

The puppet stood up looking at them then it started shaking so intensely.

Seth: what is happening? Why is that thing shaking?

Puppet: these vessels, these vessels… [yell] are unworthy, these vessels are trash, pathetic, disgraceful, you have angered "Misaki" with your action, the trespassers shall pay the price with their own bodies.

The vessels they've built began to move on their own, they stood up looking at them.

Seth: [summon blaze gear] what's going on? I know we made these vessels for "Misaki", why is it turning them against us!

Keti: it really didn't make sense for me either, perhaps there is no perfect vessel existing in this domain.

The team fought the vessels they've built, it didn't take them more than 10 seconds to destroy them.

Puppet: unforgivable, disgraceful, such turns of misfortune, [yell] this is unacceptable.

The puppet started to move and attacked the team, every time they break her limbs it regenerates a new one.

Seth: for how long should we keep this up?

Keti: I don't think we can, "Wreck" told me the wonderer is only one who can get us out of here so, we're more likely stuck here, unless we give her what she wanted.

Seth: …the vessels! "Fujimori", check if we did something wrong with the body parts that we picked.

Fey: [solute] aye aye, captain.

They continued fighting, "Fey" went to see what is wrong with the body parts they've chosen, suddenly she began dismantling them one by one.

Seth: did you find it?

Fey: nope, I just figured if we rebuilt it maybe then it will be a fine vessel.

Puppet: that won't work, it's useless to build another one, none of the parts are worthy, you can't even go back down there to find it, [yell] it's too late for all 3 of you.

Suddenly "Wreck" appears out of nowhere crashing on the ground.

Puppet: no, that's impossible, you shouldn't be here.

Wreck: you count me as a cheat, right? If we're going to cheat, why not this domain, since there are literally no perfect body parts existing in this world.

Keti: [angry, yell] hey, that's also dirty, if you're going to play fair to not accept the vessels when there is no perfection.

Puppet: [yell] silence, you dare mock "Misaki"?

Fey: [yell] I have rebuilt the vessel, will this one work?

Puppet: you damn human, this one is not good enough.

The puppet targeted "Fey", "Wreck" reached her as quickly as possible and shifted the vessel into something greater, he made it look like an android robot gentleman, it made the puppet stop and hesitate.

Puppet: [terrified] no…this can't be, how do you know that face?

Keti: what did you do?

Wreck: that's the true shape of "Misaki", the real story about this puppet here is that she waited for a certain man at the shrine who never came back, I can tell you one thing about "Misaki"…he was so ill that coming to that shrine they couldn't bless him with their mercy, but he was so happy to see a certain someone who's just a made up figure, it was so sad that his time finally came when his heart stopped before taking the last 4 steps when leaving, a good man with a good soul, never blamed the world for bestowing that illness on him.

Seth: [sad] I can't believe…you've been waiting for so long, for someone who's already dea-…who's already passed away.

The puppet starts to crack, eventually revealing the true form of the wonderer, "Yako" the descendant of the 9 tailed fox goddess, seeing the face of her true love made her cry so much as the wound in her heart slowly lifted, the dolls on the stairs began to shake and eventually hatch, children souls coming out of the dolls ascending from the domain.

Children souls: we thank you for freeing us from this hell.

Wreck: for many years children disappeared and forgotten from the over world.

Seth: [shock] my god, just how many souls are there?

Keti: there was no passing the trial unless you cheat for it, nothing is fair, isn't it? When you want something but the gods say you can't have it…we were bound to this cruel life unless we do something about it.

Fey: was the face of "Misaki" also been drawn in the books?

Wreck: to be honest with you…you can't find any pictures in a book at all, I had to waste my time solving some theory puzzles and get to the conclusion of who this man is, good thing I still remember his face, otherwise I might end up ruining it.

Yako: [crying] thank you, who would have thought this day would come?

"Keti" walks up to "Yako", standing Infront of her and looking a little pissed off.

Keti: since we're done with this trial, how about you play fair from now on, all those missing children just for one man? They have put a lot of hard work into making all of those vessels, and you rejected them like they were nothing, instead of releasing them you trapped them…how about you try moving on for once, start by signing this paper [give paper].

As she gives "Yako" the paper she signed it without a doubt, after the event of the "Misaki" stairs the children that were imprisoned within the domain filled up the hallways, the teachers struggled to get out because hundreds of them are blocking the way, it was strange for everyone to see children that popped out of nowhere to be in school, the process of fixing this issue took about 2 days to manage, the team came to the chemistry lab after school.

Wreck: at the end, it looks like we're saving lives that are long gone from this world.

Seth: it's so sad hundreds suffer because of it.

Keti: this isn't over just yet, we have 5 more mysteries left to go though, I hope they're all not that hard to deal with.

Seth: so, why didn't the gods give that man their blessing and save him from his illness?

Wreck: some of the gods are most of all greedy, even if you were to toss more than 20 coins, they'll just say that it's not enough so, he didn't have that much to give, but at least he tried so hard to get one blessing.

Fey: which mystery are we gonna go for next?

Keti: let's just strategize till next week, we've been entering domains unprepared and almost got ourselves killed.

Wreck: fair point.

Fey: [yell] augh, I don't wanna wait, please "Keti", "Komito" help me.

Wreck: sorry, can't do.
