episode 56 Demon of poisons #1

Team "Yarui" is set on a mission to release a haunted mall from the demons, "Mirune" and "Aika" were the first to go inside to investigate the area.

Mirune: isn't there anyone around here?

Aika: duh, the demons took over the place, perhaps they're planning to attack any minute now.

Mirune: this is why I don't like the idea where we are the first to go in.

Suddenly a fade purple mist appears out of nowhere, "Mirune" hears a child screaming.

Mirune: did you hear that?

Aika: I didn't hear anything.

Mirune: it came from this way [run].

Aika: where are you going? "Mirune", stop.

As soon as they start moving, their signals in the radar instantly disappears.

Yarui: [contacting] "Aika", "Mirune", respond…we lost them.

Peri: that won't be possible, we need to go search for them right away.

Yarui: this could be a trap to lure us there, we have to find out what caused the disruption and their disappearance.

At school "Fey" is playing with "Landy" as he morphs into many kinds of creature, "Wreck" and "Keti" are sitting on the chairs not doing anything.

Keti: so, what is it like to work at your job back in "Skarven"?

Wreck: I do work as a craftsman there, the CEO is the hero himself, he said this is a place only for craftsman with haste, so I worked so hard and built a lot of projects, not that pleasant if you ask me even with your dad.

"Seth" gets a call from headquarters to be present for the mission.

Seth: sorry guys, but I have to leave, it's very urgent.

Keti: …we'll be joining too.

Wreck: you like the hunter association?

Keti: it will be fun, wouldn't it?

Meanwhile there is a giant poisonous basilisk appearing at the haunted mall, the hunters were struggling to fight it that they got poisoned, they planned to retreat but in their current condition they can't run fast, "Peri" provoked the basilisk and ran to the other side giving them the chance.

Yarui: "Yamazaki", you idiot.

Hunter: miss "Yarui" …currently few of our colleagues aren't poisoned, this poison is slowly killing us.

Only 10 minutes have passed since the fight, the healers are trying their best to get rid of the poison and heal them, the team arrived with "Seth".

Yarui: so, we meet again… [angry] what else have you been doing other than watching over them?

Seth: [sweat] don't look at me, they insisted on coming here.

Keti: what happened here?

Yarui: we've been running into some troubles, "Aika" and "Mirune" were missing and we can't pick their signals, and then there is poisonous beasts appearing.

Seth: this is not good; how come we lost their signal?

Yarui: they are either dead or the signal was jammed.

Keti: let's help them out, shall we?

Wreck: "Mirune" and "Aika" are tough, I'm sure they're alive somewhere.

Keti: … I know this won't be pleasant for you but, can you heal all the hunters?

Wreck: … that's fine, I'll help out for now.

"Wreck" comes closer to the hunters and use his shifting capabilities to cure and heal them.

Hunter: [confused] wait, I feel…fine?

Healer: [surprised] how is that possible?

Yarui: what did you do?

Wreck: I shifted all the poison into healing ointment and sealed all the wounds and injuries, you're in good shape to fight now.

Keti: do you even have time to explain everything? We need to head to the parking lot.

Yarui: since when did you get so cocky?

Seth: a lot has been going on lately the 2 of them have awakened because of him.

Keti: why is the sight so purple, can you explain the details of the situation and who we might be facing?

"Wreck" went into an area for a few moments then came back.

Wreck: it seems we're facing the master of poisons, the higher demon "Amaymon", with these purple fogs around that means the whole area was poisoned the moment anyone would interfere with the area, "Aika" and "Mirune" might be hallucinating right now because of it, that's how anyone would get lost in it, furthermore the fog can jam the locations and description of any entity or living beings as part of the fog.

Yarui: that explains why the radar can't pick up their signals, so you're planning to head for the boss?

The basilisk arrived once more to attack.

Seth: [surprised] why is there a basilisk here?

Wreck: the basilisk is the keeper of the fog, for those who entered the fog earlier it considers them as fog escapees, it would sense who ever left it.

Keti: that's just ridiculous.

"Yarui" tried to fight the basilisk with all her might, "Keti" came assisting her to kill it, "Yarui" suddenly realizes that "Keti" was about to get much stronger than her, after killing the basilisk, "Yarui" was wondering how the "Keti's" team is strong.

Yarui: say…we just barely met for almost a week, and yet you're growing faster than I expected.

Keti: always be prepared, is what my father would say.

Seth: "Keti" is stronger now.

Wreck: …stronger yet…she would need a gear is what the association would say, if she ever decided to go there.

Seth: why are you so obsessed with not cooperating with us?

Wreck: …you're all crossing the line, you'll understand soon enough.

Keti: now this is dealt with we better find whoever is in there and head to the parking lot.

Yarui: oh, right… "Peri" just went in there to distract this beast, he could be dead by now.

Keti: I can sense the location of by brother now, he's basically in that direction [point out].

"Fey" went to the direction "Keti" pointed at and started acting like an excited hyped child.

Wreck: you go head for the parking lot, we'll go find "Peri" from here.

Yarui: [confused, surprised] what is wrong with you children?!

Seth: wait up you guys.

"Wreck", "Fey" and "Seth" went to find "Peri" while "Keti" goes to the parking lot, "Aika" and "Mirune" are still hallucinating from the poison fog, "Aika" lost track of "Mirune" and kept calling her name, she suddenly began seeing her parents standing right in front of her.

Aika: mom? Dad? What are you doing here?

Dad: guess I forgot to buy some eggs, honey.

Mom: please don't mind us, we're just going for a walk.

Aika: a walk? In a haunted mall?

Mom: …you're grounded young lady, for not telling us what sort of business you're going through, this is not the uniform of a foreign business.

Aika: mom?

Her parents vanished in the fog like they weren't there to begin with, she tried to reach out to them and suddenly she sees "Wreck".

Aika: kid? You're here… where did my mom and dad go?

He started laughing as if it was a joke to him, as he shows his face it was "Anti-Wreck".

Aika: kid?

Anti-Wreck: who cares where they went? you're all alone at the end, no one's gonna know where exactly you've gone.

Aika: no, [terrified, shiver] you're lying…this isn't funny…where am I?

"Fey", "Wreck" and "Seth" are searching for "Peri", "Wreck" is holding them so that they won't get lost.

Seth: you don't have to bother holding us, we could just scatter and look for him in every direction.

Wreck: I'm making an energy cloak that would defend you against the poison fog, if I let go the cloak will be canceled.

Fey: she pointed out somewhere around here, right?

Wreck: [yell] "Peri", where are you?

Seth: [yell] "Peri".

Fey: I think I see someone.

There is a human shaped figure in the fog, "Fey" tried to approach it.

Wreck: [gasp] no, wait, stop, it's a trap!

Suddenly a basilisk appears out of the fog and was about to attack "Fey", "Wreck" kicks the basilisk while "Seth" goes for a slash, "Fey" kept on going as if she just ignored the basilisk.

Wreck: [yell] hold up, "Fujimori".

Seth: don't worry about me, go stop her.

"Fey" finds "Peri" beaten up, rocks fallen over him making it difficult to bust out and he was about to die, he looks at "Fey" with confusion.

Peri: oh, I know you…you must be "Keti's" friend, this fog is poisonous, if you get out of here would you please to her that--.

"Fey" uses her booster flame on "Peri", he busts out of the rocks so easily and feels overwhelmed with excitement.

Peri: [yell] what is this overwhelming fire?! I feel much more alive and pressurized!

Wreck: [yell] "Fey", no!

"Wreck" tried to shift the booster flame, it turned it off and started healing him.

Wreck: you shouldn't use booster flames on someone poisoned, it might cause it to double.

Fey: is that so?

Wreck: let's just take him back to his group then join up with "Keti".

Peri: [surprised] "Keti" is here?

Fey: she went to the parking lot to fight the boss all by herself.

Wreck: she'll be fine, she wouldn't do such a thing unprepared.

"Seth" arrives in the nick of time, "Peri" walks up to him.

Seth: "Yamazaki", are you okay? Good thing you survi--.

Peri: [hold shoulder] hey "Seth", when you escort my sister…[glare] make sure she doesn't do something crazy like heading for danger just like this.

Seth: [sweat] yeah, got it, word taken.

Meanwhile "Aika" and "Mirune" were captured alive, "Aika" wakes up from feeling dizzy and headache.

Aika: ouch, my head hearts…where am I?

Anti-wreck: how disappointing…to think you're still existing.

Aika: [yell] show yourself, why are you doing this?

Mirune: who are you talking to?

"Aika" were to turn around jus to realize that she was tied up with "Mirune" at the parking lot surround with demons.

Aika: [surprised] "Mirune"! where did you go?

Mirune: I'm right here.

Aika: I mean, why did you leave me? we were supposed to go search the area together.

Mirune: oh, right…funny story, I saw a child running, he was looking for his parents in this haunted mall.

Aika: [angry] and?

Mirune: [look away] …it was all but an illusion.

Aika: …you're hopeless when you're alone, you know that?

"Amaymon" appears glaring at them.

Mirune: [terrified] a higher demon?!

Amaymon: …how strange, you can still see properly after being poison for so long?

Aika: what's happening?

Amaymon: you better have good information, now…where is "Kalibur Alverice"?

Mirune: I'll never talk.

Aika: the child?

Mirune: [surprised] "Aika"!

Amaymon: she's poisoned enough to speak, now she has no idea that she's talking.

Mirune: bastard.

Amaymon: so you've met him, what did he tell you.

Aika: …we're battling "Guthera".

Amaymon: are you now? And you think you're ready for it? As soon as we retrieve what we need your world will be in ruins…say, a certain demon from few days ago died when you're this weak, what do you think happened to him?

Mirune: [giggle] worried about your friend? It seems you're doing the same things I did; I've been making troubles for her all this time…till they are held captive.

Amaymon: [angry] what did you say?

"Keti" arrives in her cloak mode, "Amaymon" steps forward smiling at her.

Amaymon: it seems the prey is brave enough to stare at its predator.
