The next morning came rather quickly. Charlotte rose up early, preparing to go to the hospital as she had planned. She decided to prepare Rory's favourite chicken vegetable soup, steaming hot, in a flask. Just in case she woke up today.

She washed down and wore something comfortable and tied her hair in a pony tail. After having a simple breakfast, she decided to pass by her grocery shop to check on some few things. Since it was still weekend, she would not spend so much time there.

When she got there, she was surprised to find the shop opened. Edna was already arranging some items on the shelves outside. Charlotte had almost forgotten that she gave a spare key to her.

When she saw Charlotte from afar, Edna gently dropped the box of apples and hurried to meet her, dusting her hands in her apron as she went.

"Aunt Charlotte! You really got me worried!" She said. "How are you doing?" She greeted and helped her with the small bag that she was holding.
