'Space Jump'

….

And then, the next thing he saw was not the dark alley anymore, but rather a gigantic mansion made of woods surrounded by innumerable large and tall trees.

"HAHA! How was it?" the old lady smilingly asked as she looked at him.

Alex was speechless at her question as he really didn't have any idea as to what she's asking about. 

Whether it is this yet another unscientific ability she had shown him, that he's definitely sure is a magic, or this gigantic mansion made from wood, that even back on Earth, calling it luxurious would not be wrong!

He has no idea at all!

But, whether it was the magic earlier or this wood mansion in front of him, both of them were amazing for him! 

After all, he neither had any of these two things back then!

So he excitedly-

"Baa! Baa!" he said.

"..." 

Alex was once again speechless, that because of his excitement, he actually forgot his current immature body, instead of saying 'It was amazing!' what came out instead is 'Baa! Baa!'

Pfft-

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" the old woman laughed out loud!

"What were you trying to do just now? Did you seriously just try to respond to me?" the old amusingly asked.

Alex just stared at the old lady, and soon quietly turned his head away as if nothing happened just now.

Seeing this, the old lady couldn't help but laugh again!

"HAHAHAHA! You're one interesting child." she said.

After she did so, she started to walk towards the door of her mansion not far away.

After she reached out and opened the door, she brought herself with Alex in.

Meanwhile, back on the dark alley in the suburbs.

Just after a while after the old lady and Alex disappeared, a few people in a black clothing arrived.

"Investigate." One of them, seemingly the leader, commanded.

" Yes"" The other back cloaked people replied.

….

After a few minutes, one of the black cloaked person came and reported to the leader-

"Sir, just as what we detected, there were indeed few remaining Space Elements in the surroundings, meaning a Space Magic has been used here a while ago." He said.

"Furthermore, aside from that, just now we also detected a few Fire Element particles in the surroundings, as well as the scattered ashes of which we think is from a pack of Mutated Wild Dogs. This confirmed our conclusion that Fire magic has also been used just about the same time as Space Magic." He continued

"Hmm… So… a Space and Fire dual Element mage, huh…?"

"In this entire Empire, there's only one being I could think of that wields the same Element…"

"But, as far as I know she's in seclusion…?" The leader figure muttered.

….

A few seconds passed, then as if struck by lightning, he thought of something that even someone like him trembled all over out of fear!

"No!"

"This news must have been deliberately faked! After all the trouble we've caused to this Empire throughout the years, they must have gotten a clue already that our Organisation has a huge branch here!" He concluded!

"You! Go back to the base and report all the findings here to the General, as well as the possibility of 'her' being here! As well as asking the General to go and send someone to the Capital to investigate this matter thoroughly!" He commanded! 

"By 'her' you mean…?" The subordinate tremblingly asked.

"Yes! I meant 'her'! the very being that gave such hideous injury to our Supreme Commander during the war 50 years ago! Even now, he hasn't healed yet!" The leader figure confirmed his thoughts!

"Now go!"

""Ye-yes"" the subordinate stuttered as he replied.

Looking at the trembling back of his subordinate as he left, he didn't say anything, as even he after all would tremble all over out of fear just by hearing anything related to 'her' let alone a low level subordinate.

As to why?

It's all because of her terrifying deeds during the war 50 years ago that he, alongside countless others have witnessed…

Now, back on the wooden mansion…

After they entered, all Alex saw were not butler, servants or the likes in his imagination, but rather an amazing set of furnitures, like the sofas made of woods, carpet created by those soft looking animal skin, simple paintings on the wall, as well as those amazing realistic carvings on the pillars!

In short! This sight in front of him is simply majestic and luxurious!

"How was it? I created it all, you know?" The old lady said.

Alex was shocked! 

'She could create something like these?!' He inwardly thought.

But on second thought, remembering those previous deeds of hers, this doesn't seem to be anything special.

Anyway, he's going to live here soon.

So, regarding her question, he-

"Baa… Baa…" nodded in approval.

"Oh why, thank you!" The old lady said in satisfaction.

This heartwarming scene were soon followed by silence because-

Burppppp!!!

"..."

"..."

Both of them were speechless as they looked at each other.

"HAHA… seems like I forgot about this matter…" the old lady embarrassingly said.

"..." 

Alex stayed silent.

"You wait here for a bit, as I prepared your food…" she put Alex in a baby crib that appeared out of nowhere, and hurried to somewhere to prepare his food.

As he looked at her leaving back, he quietly thought of all the recent events.

'Got hit, died, became a baby, almost died once again, got saved as well as witnessed those unscientific things or in short magic, picked up by my saviour, and here I am, waiting to be fed.'

He couldn't help but mused thinking of this, while waiting for his food.

….

After a while, the old lady came back with not the milk he expected but rather a strange glowing blue liquid.

"..."

He stared dazedly at the mysterious liquid as the old lady approached him.

"Here you go…" the old lady fed him.

He didn't react until he finally tasted the said liquid, but it's unbelievably sweet, so he just drank it obediently.

….

After a while, he's finally done drinking  the whole thing.

Although he didn't know what that liquid was, all he knew was that after drinking it he felt warm all over his body and he didn't feel hungry anymore.

"You're full now?" The old lady asked as she looked at Alex.

Alex nodded as a reply.

With this, the old lady smiled sweetly and said-

"You're truly one smart kid, don't you think so?"

"..."

Silence descended the place.

….

After a while-

"But, you know… these past few minutes were the happiest and brightest moments of my life in the past 50 years…!" She smiled brightly at Alex.

Alex was shocked at this as he could feel that this was indeed the genuine feelings of the old lady.

Thinking of this, he couldn't help but be curious about the life of this old woman just right in front of him.

"Oh! just in case I forgot!" As if she remembered something, she smilingly looked at me and again and slowly said-

" Once again…" 

"Greetings, from now on, we will be a family! I'll raise you and teach you anything I know, you don't mind, do you…?" She said,

And-

Alex nodded in affirmative.

She smiled more brightly seeing this.

"Oh and by the way… I am…"

"..."
