Blind date

"Louis! I guess after Nora, you had to be the one determined to get us kicked out of the school?"

"What do you mean, Robin?"

Nora was the one to finally open her mouth after prolonged silence, as her mind was still not calm.

But anything regarding her getting kicked out of school and never getting the opportunity to meet her friends- her found family- ever again, had to be bigger than this fear of hers.

At the same time, Louis finally opened his mouth. 

"Not really! You know, I still have many plans to execute in this school with all of you-"

"Oh, really? But considering the speed with which you are dragging us towards one of the forbidden corners of the school, I doubt your plans are going to work out."

"Oh just shut your sassy mouth up! And just look there."

Louis pointed a solitary finger towards the back lawn of the school, where he had managed to get Valerie and Myron to meet.

The only problem with this remarkable achievement was that Valerie was completely unaware of the fact that the person who was coming to meet him was not Louis, but Myron.

And somehow, it had completely slipped Louis' mind to relay this important piece of information to Myron, and brief Nora or Robin about this scenario, either.

So the moment he pointed his finger towards both of them in the distance, the two brats he had dragged along, finally quit their questions and looked up. Immediately, a glint appeared in their eyes, hoping that finally, something was going to happen. 

And they were right: something did happen, but not along the lines that they were hoping for. Instead something completely opposite happened, a few seconds after Louis pointed his finger towards the two of them.

Valerie was looking in the opposite direction from where Myron was approaching her; and somehow while staying with Nora, they all seemed to have forgotten the fact that all Alphas had a different scent, and Betas, different.

But Valerie had not- and this was proven the moment Myron approached her and tapped her shoulder with his left hand.

She did not waste a single second before she grabbed that hand and pulled him closer. 

Then, she lifted him up in the air by hooking her arms behind his back, and thrashed him on the ground! 

This sequence of events led Nora to let out a scream before she rushed towards him;

"Brother!" 

By the time Nora rushed towards Myron to give him support and help him off the ground, Valerie also realised her mistake and crouched down to give him a hand.

"I am so… so sorry, Myron! I didn't mean to cause you harm, it's just- this is a forbidden place, and all of a sudden, the Beta smell reached my nostrils and I panicked! 

As… I was hoping to see Louis here."

She finished her statement, while her hand was still in the air and Myron's cheeks had taken on a deep crimson hue.

This explanation made everyone turn and look towards Louis, and Robin couldn't help but ask;

"I didn't know you were planning a date for yourself too! I mean, tell me more about it , now I am more than interested to know!"

Saying this, he stepped towards Nora- leaving Louis there, coloured from head to toe in a faint red blush because of the misunderstanding.

It took him a few seconds to finally move and rush towards them, when Robin and Nora had finally been successful in lifting the heavy body of Myron and brought him to stand. 

Robin wanted to ask Valerie how she really managed to slam him down, but before he could have gotten the chance to ask this question, Louis spoke up. 

"I am sorry, I know I am at fault, it was just I wanted to set a blind date for both of you but I kinda messed up …you know -"

"What are you talking about dude! You completely messed up."

Robin interrupted him in the middle to give him a timely reality check, and then turned towards Valerie. 

"Listen! I know we haven't been friends and trust me! I don't have any interest , either, but here …this girl! The Chaos of the entire territory, had somehow managed to be my friend and make Myron her brother.

And the now the thing is, Myron thinks you are his mate, so I guess we could leave you two here so that you can talk it out, I guess -"

Robin was saying everything that was coming to his mind, and while doing so, he placed his hand on the nape of his neck; and it was the time Nora realised that he was getting nervous.

Seeing this, she decided to step in and spoke, cutting him off. 

"I think even if someone likes you back or not, still, everybody should deserve a chance to confess their love.

So I think we should leave you two here to talk."

Saying this, she grabbed Robin and Louis' hands this time, and dragged them behind the pillar.

"I thought we are actually going to give them the privacy they deserve?"

Robin raised his concern once again.

"Shut up!" 

Two whispered voices hissed in unison as they put their ears to the pillar, to hear what was going to happen next.

David paused his steps after walking to a certain distance, knowing that Nora wouldn't be able to see him from there because of the forest mist- but he could see her very well.

He stood there until he was sure that she had safely stepped towards the school.

He knew that she was still his enemy, but after knowing the truth, there were many things more important than this enmity, and he was going to make sure to get to the bottom of each one of these things.

But before he could take a step in the direction of finding out the secrets related to Nora, he needed to find out the secret related to her twin brother… and most importantly, why was her own father determined to kill his own one and only daughter?

Ryan was busy trying to find an excuse to see Nora after what had happened. He knew that he could not let all his efforts go in vain so easily, after all that he had been through.

It was a welcome event when he got the news from Adrin that she was going to select her House today. He was confident that she was going to select The Creative Commanders, given her inclination towards Archery Arithmetic.

Seizing this opportunity, he decided to organize a welcome party for her, in lieu of his apology. And with this thought, he headed towards the school.
