Sight: The Rise Of My Crystal Eyes

"Flee, or I will look at you." ______ The story revolves around Silver, a 16-year-old boy with, well, two extraordinarily good eyes. Silver led a relatively ordinary life, frequently winning or losing things. He didn't really do much other than read webnovels, occasionally engage in sports, and research eye-related things. Yet, soon after all of this, he was about to witness a complete overhaul of everything! Not because he was intrigued. He has been since reincarnated into a different world, as fate destined it for him. With a given quest to save the world, "Asylna" from the Demon Invasion. But does this end his fixation with keeping the allegedly "Best Eyes in the World," or does it merely_ make his ridiculous quest in Asylna, only more intense? ______ My first novel, but not your generic isekai novel. ;-; i am bad at writing synopsis, but the book is good so please do give it a read, thanks

Power System

Hello reader, I suggest you to finish upto chapter 20-21 (Sorry if not released yet lol) before starting this. Because by then you would perhaps get a decent understanding of the magic system in Asylna.

OR AT LEAST CHAPTER THREE. Yes go back and read that if you didn't. You wouldn't like the free spoiler distribution...

So to start, there are three separate magic/power systems:

1. One for reincarnated Hero Canditates,

2. And one for normal people,

3. And the last one belongs to the 'Brave'.

Okay so first, the system for the Hero candidates is simple. They kill and get Exp to level up and get stronger. On certain levels, they unlock certain skills depending on their respective classes (like Assassin, Spellcaster, Dark Mage etc.)

Only exceptions are made when the Heroe canditates chose the "Strongest" subclass or the "Weakest" subclass. As then they are either punished with a sort of debuff or be rewarded with an extra buff, or skill, or stat.

Revealing more than this might hint a major spoiler so I will keep just quiet...

And then secondly, there's the magic system for normal people. They in classic fashion, actually go out and practise for their respective skills until they master it. They have no leveling system or such. Their mastery or power entirely depends on their training, and perhaps equipments. Each person however, from birth has better skills for a certain class for which they generally train for. So, if you are born with natural talent for swordfighting, you might just choose to spend the rest of your life training as a swordsman and do what you do. However of course, one can be dumb (or maybe just passionate for the other class) and choose to train some other class.

And lastly we have the Brave's system.

The Brave have the same power system as the normal people however, they have been given some special "Attribute" by the Face. The Attribute is similar to a Hero's 'ACTIVE SKILL' or a skill that can be always kept active. An example of attribute would be as follows:

[Attribute: Shadow Claws

Attribute Description: Every under your shadow is under your control. You can extend, shorten or destroy your shadow and anything under that shadow.]

Yeah... They are typically overpowered. Since this only attribute is supposed to put them to a level similar to the Heroes.

However, don't let this make you assume that normal people are bound to be weak. You never know if a prodigy is smirking nearby!

And lastly, there are Elemental Affiliations. Every living creature is bound to be affiliated with one of the Elements. It increases the fluency of their skills of that element to a higher degree. Of course, with enough practise one could master other elements too.

The five Elements (and there are sub-elements within them) are:

Fire (Smoke, Lava, etc)

Water (Ice, Mist, etc)

Soil (Ground, Nature, etc)

Light (Holy, Curse, etc)

Shadow (Dark, Curse, etc)

BUT BUT BUT! One last exception are the sensory skills! Like our boy Silver, he received "Sight" and Sight doesn't fall in any of the class. It is something of itself. Well maybe the skills of Sight be affiliated with certain Elements but not necessarily!

That is the same with other sensory skills like Hearing or Smelling etc.

That's it. And as I said before, this is just a simplification of the magic system. When things get more complicated later on, don't be shy and come to this comment to ask any questions related to the system.

Q/1 - "So Heroes can't learn magic other than the ones they get by leveling up!?

A: They can! However there are restrictions for a Hero. A Hero CAN NOT learn a magic that is NOT his Element. A fire elemental Hero might learn ice/water elemental magic by leveling up but they can't learn that water elemental magic by normal means aka training.

With that ending, take care.
