Siblitry: LastBornne of the Seven Curses

In the desolate aftermath of a world teetering on the brink of oblivion, where shadows had become the architects of despair, humanity found itself caught in a desperate struggle against grotesque abominations that emerged from the abyss. Once proud and mighty, the remnants of mankind faced extinction, battling the encroaching horrors with dwindling numbers and tattered armor. In the heart of this apocalyptic nightmare, a group of survivors, scarred by endless battles, stood united in their final stand. Their weapons clashed with the twisted abominations, grotesque amalgamations of flesh and bone that slithered with malevolence. The once-vibrant landscapes lay desolate, ancient castles crumbled under the weight of time, and perpetual gloom choked the light from the sun. As days turned into nights, and hope flickered like a dying candle, seven humans sought forbidden knowledge to save their kind. Delving into ancient lore and dark rituals, they embraced a power born from the abyss itself. Their bodies transformed, a fusion of human and nightmare, and they became the last hope against the encroaching darkness. Their newfound abilities unleashed a grotesque symphony of violence as they faced the abominations. Shadows lashed out, ripping through flesh and bone, but the survivors questioned if their adaptation was a blessing or a curse. As they confronted the creature within themselves, a flicker of hope ignited, but the cost of victory remained uncertain. In the aftermath, the survivors found themselves in a world changed. The cursed seven, once hailed as saviors, were now outcasts, trapped between a humanity that saw them as reflections of the abomination and a world that had moved beyond their monstrous forms. Technology, once a beacon of progress, became obsolete in the face of mutated powers. Humans reclaimed lost territories, gathering psionic users for a new era of survival. The cursed seven, caught between resentment and solitude, faced the consequences of their actions. As humanity turned on them, seeing them as lab rats or wretched beasts, the survivors were forced into hiding, haunted by fragments of both horror and sadness. In the eerie aftermath, the cursed seven stood amidst the ruins, their minds burdened by the question of whether their adaptation had truly saved them or condemned them to an existence of perpetual darkness. The silent landscape echoed with the haunting uncertainty of a world forever changed. ------ My second book please support it...

Psionic points

*********

'Arach...what???'

'That's some messed up name' I stuttered trying to pronounce its name.

<=ting= >

[2 psionic points obtained]

[Psionic points: 2/10]

'Psionic points are energy points I get from staining abominations right?' I asked, staring at emerging abominations from the ground.

[Correct]

'So, 5 more to go before I level up right?' I internally asked as I drew my blades from the skull of the slain abominations in front of me.

[Affirmative]

With that said, I wasted no more time as I charged forward to my prey.

Severing two of its limbs to it lose its balance, and two blades to its skull, another was slain.

[Psionic points: 4/10]

I stared at the blue screen with a smile.

'Kind of easy though' I muttered as charged towards the next one.

About to head to the next one, I turned to see how Rosy was fairing up. And to my shocking belief, she was handling it perfectly well.

But she forgot to pay attention to her surroundings as an abomination slipped through, heading for her.

'Not in my watch'

Gripping my blade, I arched my body to a javelin throw position and threw it with so much force that it sliced through the wind silently and stabbed straight into the neck of the abomination's neck.

Killing it instantly, Rosy who was oblivious to what was happening behind her continued to rampage with her huge axe.

'Shit... I was aiming for its head. But a kill is a kill'

For a brief moment, I waited for the notification yet nothing.

Walking towards and dealing the final blow before taking my blade out did the notification range.

[You have slain...]

Unto the next prey, but to my surprise. They have all been killed.

With three kills under my belt, I expected the reaction of a first murder. Yet, there was no such thing.

Staring blankly for a while, I soon noticed that killing just felt natural in my current situation.

Not even pity could be ever felt even if I was to hunt down a human.

'It has to be this body...'

'I have even noticed that it lacks the ability to feel such emotions'

Just like when a wolf hunts down a rabbit.

I felt nothing but disgust and survival while slaining these awful looking creatures as I stared at my black bloody hands.

'Or it might be its black color... just maybe'

Woon on the other hand stood firmly and had 13 kills under his belt.

With his foot on the last slain abomination with feet on its skull, black stained white clothes, dripping black blood from his sword.

He looked more like a protagonist than I am.

How did I know?

My system did that for me.

And also, his green aura has changed and gotten stronger...

While Rosy had three like me.

Tou and Fyne didn't show and reaction to entering a new rank, but they seemed close to it due to their aura.

And as for the rest, some were slightly injured but minimal changes were made to their aura.

But the most important fact was that our previous white clothes have been stained black so as our innocence.

Moreover, that intense gut feeling still lingered.

'What is this feeling?' I muttered as my instinct was on full alert yet there was no enemy around.

"Wahhhh!!!"

A loud scream reverberated throughout sending chills down my spine.

A long sharp black limb torn through his torso leaving a gut-crushing scene.

Lifting his entire, several other limbs made an appearance. Each of their joint with tendrils like human fingers. Soon, a hideous permanent human screaming facial expression appeared.

This abomination looked like the next evolution of Arachnograsp Horror.

Same features like the height of 3 feet, and size but a more menacing look.

With a deep breath, I watched as the body munched by the abomination in one gulp.

"Ahhhhh!!!"

Another scream echoed, killed in the same attack pattern...

Then it occurred to me, that this type of abomination was smarter than the previous.

As they lay in ambush before attacking.

Now in full alert, dense brads of sweat rolled down my face.

My eyes drift rapidly on the floor in case of any sudden attack.

And then I noticed... behind rosy...

*FLAP*

Dirt and dust tremble from Spade's previous spot as he instantly disappeared, instantly pulling Rosy from the sneak attack range.

After securing her safety, Spade turned towards the abomination who screamed in anger for its attack missing.

'You piece of shit' I charge towards it with rage.

Dodging and slicing its limbs, resistance could be felt.

It had a stronger defense compared to the first raid but that didn't stop me from continuously dealing attack damage to it.

Leaving slice attack scars on its body, I probe its body to find its weakness.

Lost in my thoughts, I failed to notice another sneak attack from my side.

Too late to dodge, I braced myself for impact, twisting my body to avoid my vital organs.

Just like in street fights, avoid damage to her head, ribs, spine, and joints.

DANG!!!

The sound of two metals clashing together echoed loudly.

With no impact made, I turned towards my side.

Rosy came to my rescue.

"I save you too Spade" She smiled beautifully, unfazed by the gothic scene around us.

With an understanding nod, we both turn to face our opponents.

Leaving Rosy to her own devices, I charged towards mine.

Skillfully dodging its stab attack, I appeared in front of its four pairs of eyes and a disgusting human-like screaming expression.

Swinging my blades downward, I took three eyes off its face with a blade of mine left on its skull which caused it to scream in pain.

With that few seconds of it distracted, I leaped onto its back.

Clumsily sliding through its back with my blade, leaving a naughty injury.

But that wasn't enough to take it out.

With pain and rage bloodthirsty intent, it twisted its body while shaking aggressively, it tried to throw me off its back but it failed.

With no other option, it tried to flip on its backside...

Which I noticed through its movement and leaped off immediately with my single wing leaving me airborne enough to watch it flip.

After the flip, its belly was left open, a silver opportunity I didn't miss on such weakness.

Effectively diving blade first into its abdomen, instantly killing it.

'I also have some psionic points to add to any attributes I prefer, I better keep it for later' I smiled.

Then within my body, a power surge could be felt as it softly broke my train of thoughts

The feeling was so relaxing as strength coursed through my veins, and my skin grew slightly stronger.

The smooth feeling of ranking up made me want more.

'Oh! There is more?' I inwardly asked as I stared at the second screen, still haven't gotten over that feeling.

[????]

'Why isn't there...' My question was cut short due to the tremors felt from the ground as an abomination charged at me.

Large broad limbs and a serpentine body with black spikes that ran down its spine.

'Questions for later then' I mentally said, before stepping down from my slain opponent heading for the next one.

Upon arriving in front of it, it swiped down with its sharp claws which I clumsily blocked.

Being pushed back for the first time left me confused for a brief moment.

'Strong'

Dodging its next attack, I counted with a slice attack to its arms.

Rolling to its back, I was met with a swipe attack from its tail which I expected.

That serpentine body of it could be used to attack.

Leaping straight into the sky with a strong flap as I skillfully dodge its tail attacks.

Having lost vision of me, its dumb brain didn't tell it to look up as it kept on actively searching for my whereabouts.

Having glided enough in the air, I dive down with my dual blades sinking deep into its skull, instantly losing the light in its eyes.

'Just five. But the previous slain abomination was a total of 11 p.p' I complained, feeling scammed at that moment.

'Shit... so, I couldn't also escape this' A lewd smile appeared on my lips.

Looking at my deceased opponent, I suddenly felt the urge to test out my talent -Feast Node-. But my instinct still tells me that Thomas was watching somewhere.

'I can't have all my skills seen by him. I can't ruin any element of surprise at all'

With my attention back to the tense-up battlefield, Rosy was almost done with the spider opponent.

And with a glance around, I realized that our previous number of 40 has dramatically reduced to 11.

Woon had an exhausted expression, Two and Fyve have returned to human forms, each sustained with individual injuries.

Rosy now has the same aura as everyone albeit weaker as Woon still remains on top in aura strength.

And the remaining six are still alive.

Two were heavily injured and the others were slightly injured.

The once previously quiet terrain is now ridiculed with both bodies of abominations and Altered humans.
