Hope Mikaelson eased into school and everything was fine. Hope was a little teased by other people and got hate for being Klaus Mikaelson's daughter. Caroline always defended her, scolded the students and teachers alike. For Klaus Mikaelson's daughter.

And everything was fine, till Caroline received a phone call. It was Damon Salvatore.

"She….she left me,"

"Hello?"

It was a drunk call. He had no idea who he was calling.

"She left me!"

He was crying.

"Hello?!" She almost yelled. She was using her vampire hearing, she could hear the crying of an infant baby on the other side of the phone.

"Elena left me…..and Stefanie."

The phone fell from his hands, and he fell on the couch. Caroline listened for almost twenty minutes.

He started to snore. And she started to get worried. She picked up her laptop, she left detailed instructions for her parts of the duties at school. It was kept logged on. She took a paper pad,

"Going to New Orleans for Damon. Be back as soon as I can."

And she left. She got into the car, and she drove. She didn't stop once.

She got there in the morning, around six o'clock. She parked the car in front of the house, as she was about to open the door, someone crept up behind her.

"And who are you?" The man pinned her to the wall, he growled.

She swiped the pipe on the wall, pulled it out, and jammed it in his chest.

"Just what you are." She pushed him, and he landed on the other side of the street. "And…..never do that again."

She smiled softly. She knocked on the door. Damon Salvatore came outside, he was slurring.

"Can I see Elena?" She looked at him, pitifully, "I am a friend, can I see her?"

"She left!" He slurred. "With this man….he works with her at the hospital."

"She can't just leave…"

"Well, she did!" She could see the bottle in his hand.

"Well, okay….Thank you."

She couldn't give back his memories right now.

For Stefanie.

She went to the hospital to find her. It didn't take her long to find her. Elena Gilbert was just coming out of an OR.

"You…." She was so angry at Elena. She had given up everything for Elena. Damon was miserable because of her. Stefan...Stefan was dead because the cure went to Damon.

She was mad at her. How could she? After all that had been?

Elena was walking away, not even glancing up at her.

"Dr. Salvatore?"

Caroline came after her. She didn't answer.

"Dr. Gilbert?" She turned around.

"Yes?"

Caroline slapped her as hard as she could.

"You ....!"

Elena fell to the floor, several feet away from Caroline.

"How dare you?" She grabbed her by the collar.

"I…."

Elena was scared. She had no idea what was happening.

"What the hell do you think you are doing!?" She growled in her face.

A man came out of another room,

"What is happening here?"

Caroline looked at the man. This was the guy Elena Gilbert had left for.

"Uh-Oh!" Caroline stopped.

She knew who this was. And how could she ever forget?

Stefan Salvatore's look alike. Tom Avery. She had seen him before. She compelled Caroline, and zoomed towards Tom, he pinned her to the wall.

"Forget this happened!" She whispered.

Standing inches away from him. Tears formed in her eyes. He was a lot like Stefan. She had known him...to be a good man.

Caroline walked out of the hospital,

"Goddamn witches!" She muttered as she came out of the doors.

She walked towards the Mikaelson Compound.

"Caroline?" Hayley Marshall looked down from the terrace. She jumped down.

"What are you doing here?" She asked. "Is everything okay?"

"Yes…No…I don't know!" Caroline sighed, "Can I crash here for a few days? There's been some…"

"Yeah…Come in!" She opened the door, and allowed her to pass by. "Is something wrong with Hope?"

She asked.

"No, no, no!" Caroline said quickly. "Hope is just....Amazing!"

She flung herself on a couch.

"It's just….Witches have interfered with Elena and Tom Avery."

"Tom who?" Hayley sat down in front of her.

"Tom Avery." Caroline repeated, "He's a doppelganger of Stefan's'."
