"It was about time you showed up; I thought you had escaped," Kaylon greeted the person who entered his office with a smile.
Clad in a black robe that covered her entire body and face, her steps were silent, and she exuded a powerful aura.
"Sorry for being late; had to give an old man a beating," the hooded figure spoke with a soft and indifferent voice.
"An old man...? Oh! Hahaha, poor Zeus must have been terrified to see you," Kaylon chuckled, picturing the scene of the old man receiving a beating.
Shaking her head, the hooded figure soon took off her cloak.
"How's your little nephew, Alfia?" With a smile, Kaylon looked at the beautiful woman with ash-colored hair.
Taking a seat in front of Kaylon's desk, Alfia settled comfortably.
Seeing Alfia at ease, Kaylon smiled, then poured some tea into a small cup.
"Here, it's tea made by my little Riveria. Few have the honor of tasting it," Kaylon said with a smug smile as he handed the cup to Alfia.
Not taking Kaylon's words seriously, Alfia took the cup and drank the tea in it.
"It's good tea," Alfia nodded, approving the delicious taste.
"Naturally, it's made by my Riveria after all," Kaylon's face softened with a trace of affection as he looked at the cup.
When Riveria found out that Kaylon liked tea, she didn't hesitate to start learning how to prepare it. After a few months of practice, the talented elf made delicious tea. Now, every morning, she leaves a teapot full of tea on his desk.
Setting the cup aside, Alfia answered Kaylon's previous question, "Bell, that's my nephew's name..."
After saying that, she frowned as if thinking about something troubling. "Zeus has corrupted him; now he only thinks about being a hero, he's obsessed with it."
Rubbing her forehead, Alfia regretted leaving her nephew with an idiot like Zeus.
"Well, that's Zeus for you, always thinking about heroes, women... Oh, and prophecies too," Kaylon shook his head with mockery.
Kaylon doesn't like Zeus much; in his opinion, he's a very hypocritical guy, constantly preaching heroic deeds and conquering beauties to mortals. In Kaylon's eyes, that old man only brainwashes them, putting the idea in their heads that all it takes to be a hero is courage and other nonsense like that.
Thanks to those words, most members of the Zeus family always sought to do "heroic" acts. Because of those stupid ideas, many of them died in the dungeon, trying to be "heroes."
"It seems you don't like him," hearing the slight disdain in Kaylon's tone, Alfia said with some curiosity.
"I don't like hypocritical people..." Kaylon didn't hide anything from Alfia.
What Kaylon dislikes most in this world is undoubtedly hypocritical people.
For example, in Erebus's case, even though Erebus is a madman who almost plunged the world into chaos, he's honest. He made his intentions clear from the beginning and took responsibility for his actions.
So, despite not liking Erebus's way of doing things, Kaylon still respects him as a God.
"Hypocrite, eh? I guess he's that kind of person," thinking of the old man who reads heroic tales and then sneaks into women's baths to spy, Alfia nodded in agreement.
"However, Bell has already grown attached to him..." Alfia can't do much; Bell even calls Zeus grandfather, and although she's his aunt, in Bell's eyes, she's ultimately a stranger.
"I understand," Kaylon nodded. Alfia abandoned Bell after leaving him with Zeus because she thought he was going to die, so in the boy's eyes, she's a stranger.
"I just hope that as he grows up, he'll leave behind his fantasies of being a hero," with some hope, Alfia consoled herself.
For his part, Kaylon shook his head silently, remembering the boy who will come in a few years and shout to the four winds that he wants to be a hero. Kaylon sighed with regret for a moment and wanted to tell Alfia.
Oh, Alfia, Zeus's brainwashing has already reached a very high level; your nephew is beyond help.
Of course, to avoid worsening her already dismal mood, Kaylon decided not to say anything.
"Well, let's set that aside; I came to fulfill my promise. Can you give me your falna if you still wish?" Changing the subject, Alfia said seriously.
"Haha, of course I want to!" Getting up from his desk, Kaylon didn't hesitate and said yes directly. After all, only an idiot would let go of such talent.
"Alright, let me put on my falna!" Taking out his needle, Kaylon was eager to draw blood.
"This..." Suddenly, Alfia remembered that she had to expose her back to receive the falna.
Thinking for a moment, a trace of embarrassment crossed Alfia's face. When she was an adventurer, she was affiliated with Hera. So, it was a woman who gave her the falna, and until now, no man has seen her without clothes.
With some embarrassment, Alfia looked at Kaylon. After seeing that there was no lust in the god's eyes, Alfia made up her mind.
"Okay, but turn around while I take off my shirt," having made the decision, Alfia told Kaylon.
"Oh, sure," realizing, Kaylon turned his gaze without any problem.
He's a family man; naturally, he doesn't have thoughts about Alfia. Although Alfia is undoubtedly beautiful, that doesn't change Kaylon's opinion. He's a god with billions of years of existence, naturally, he won't be swayed by something as simple as lust.
Alfia, seeing that Kaylon turned his gaze without disappointment or annoyance, felt more at ease.
Then, carefully, she took off the top of her dress, exposing her back.
Sitting in the chair, with her back exposed, Alfia told Kaylon, "I'm ready now; you can proceed."
Turning around, Kaylon didn't hesitate and pricked his finger, letting a drop of golden blood fall onto Alfia.
"I haven't seen golden blood before," observing the blood dripping from Kaylon's finger, Alfia commented curiously.
Hera's blood was a bright red color, and so was Zeus's.
"It's an effect of the Primordials," Kaylon commented casually.
In fact, Kaylon's blood is golden because he's the incarnation of light. Even though he's in a mortal body now, the absurd vitality still shows through his blood. In fact, Kaylon's blood has healing properties, but they're not as great as those of elixirs.
Soon, a huge glow covered Alfia's back, releasing the shackles that had bound her for years.
"Hahaha, it's absurdly powerful!" Looking at Alfia's back, Kaylon laughed with joy.
For her part, Alfia was receiving the tremendous increase in her strength; vitality filled her body, and the immense power seemed to overflow.
~BAM~
A blast of air emanated from Alfia's back, sending a fly Kaylon and everything in the office.
"Puff! Puff!" Kaylon, who had been thrown headfirst into one of the office plants, spat out all the dirt in his mouth.
"This power!?" Feeling the tremendous strength in her body, Alfia was in shock for a moment.
Now, without her illness holding her back, Alfia's power surge was terrifying.
"Hehe, congratulations, Alfia, you're now an Adventure Level 8," Kaylon said with excitement, a bit of dirt on his face as he smiled.
"Level 8?" Alfia now understood the extraordinary increase in power in her body.
~SURGE~
Suddenly, the door to the room burst open with a kick, catching Kaylon and Alfia off guard as they were absorbed in Alfia's power increase.
"Kami-Sama, are you okay!?" Riveria, armed with her staff, looked around the room with concern.
"Kami-Sama!" Elinalise, also entering behind Riveria with her rapier drawn, scanned the room attentively.
"Riveria!! You won't believe this!" Kaylon, seeing Riveria, immediately rushed over to her to share the good news.
"Kami-Sama, why are you covered in dirt?" Riveria asked, confused, as she looked at her God who had dirt on his face and clothes.
"Oh, Alfia exploded out of nowhere," Kaylon said casually.
"Alfia exploded!?" Riveria's face was astonished.
"The annoying woman exploded!?" Elinalise asked with a smile.
"I heard you, stupid elf," Alfia, who had been sitting in the chair, still adjusting to her increased power, replied.
"Eh? So, you didn't explode?" Elinalise asked with a disappointed expression.
"Then what happened here?" Riveria, shaking the dirt off her God's clothes, asked them.
"Alfia leveled up, we now have a Level 8 in the family," Kaylon informed Riveria with a smile.
"Level 8!?" Riveria's voice rose in surprise.
"N-Level 8?" Elinalise murmured, her voice trembling.
Breaking out of her surprise, a smile appeared on Riveria's face as she said, "Congratulations, Alfia, on your upgrade."
"Umu, thank you, Riveria-sama," Alfia, more respectful to Riveria compared to Elinalise, replied, still remembering the terrible magic that almost killed her.
"It's really a pity I can't brag about it," Kaylon lamented with a disappointed expression.
Kaylon could register Alfia, but under another name and title, as per the agreement they made with Uranus.
So, Kaylon would register her as Level 4, keeping her under the radar, thus making it impossible to brag.
"By the way, Alfia, here's your Status," Kaylon said, handing her the translated status sheet.

"This!?" Alfia couldn't help but feel moved as she noticed the absence of that skill that had tormented her all her life.
[Gif Blessing] was the embodiment of her illness, a skill that slowly killed her, yet that skill had disappeared.
Though she already knew her curse was gone, this was the final proof.
Looking at the man who healed her, a grateful expression appeared on Alfia's face.
"Thank you, Kami-sama," changing Kaylon's title, Alfia now fully accepted him as her God.
"You don't have to thank me; you're now part of my family. I just ask that you put your heart into this family," Kaylon said with a smile to Alfia.
Looking at Kaylon's sincere smile, Riveria's gentle and kind smile, and Elinalise's offended expression, Alfia smiled faintly.
She didn't know if she could fully accept it, but she promised to try.
"Well, now clean up my office," Kaylon said with a smile, addressing Alfia again.
Alfia, looking at the surroundings, completely destroyed, sighed. It seems she'll have to spend some time here.
...
"Then it's time for an expedition?"
Later that night, Riveria and Elinalise gathered in the office located in their room, as the general office was still under repairs.
"That's right, we haven't been able to do one due to the Dark Faction, but now with the coast clear, an expedition is necessary," Riveria, sitting majestically at her desk, told Elinalise.
"I see, it looks like we need to prepare," Elinalise smiled as she reviewed the information about the dungeon floors obtained from Alfia.
Alfia's arrival not only brought great extra power but also a wealth of dungeon information.
"What floor will we go to?" Elinalise asked Riveria curiously.
"I hope we can reach floor 60," Riveria said.
"Then we need ample provisions. Going that deep will also deplete our weapons, so we need to bring extra ones. Talhand won't be able to handle everything, so we need to place an order..." Elinalise soon entered her serious mode and began calculating expenses.
"We also need potions, and we have to ensure profit, so we need to bring many storage rings."
"Riveria-chan, how many can you make before the date?"
"I think about 7 will be enough, each one has 50 square meters."
"Then let's map out easy routes, look here and here..."
"We can pass through here and save..."
...
That's it for today's chapter!
I planned to upload it early, but there was no signal around my house until 20 minutes ago.
An expedition is coming soon, and then there will be a small time skip before we head to Fate.
Thanks for the support!
