Chapter Two: Sleep together in the same room

After the registration, Sean dropped Anna off. Getting to her apartment, she opened the door, threw her bag on the sofa then sat down groaning in exhaust of today's work. She called out, "Melilla!"

"You're back home early. So, how was it?" Melilla asked nonchalantly already knowing what had happened.

"Melilla, my life is officially ruined!" she yelled.

"Don't say that. Everything is going to be alright", sarcastically Melilla consoled her.

"Why mock me? Aren't you feeling my pain? I married my grumpy boss and that's not even the worst part!" she continued, "He told me that by tomorrow, I should pack all my things to the Gu Mansion with Toby".

"Of course you have to live with him. I mean he is your partner in love. Moving in with him means you have to share the same bed with him, mate and have kids", Melilla lectured her.

"What are you yammering about? I don't want to have children now. I'm too young", she folded her arms looking a little troubled.

"On the contrary, you already have your marriage certificate then you are legible to have kids of your own", Melilla mocked her.

Feeling a little dizzy, Anna decided to retire to bed, "I'm going to bed now and please stop sprouting nonsense from your mouth".

"Whatever you say, Mrs Gu!" Melilla broke into laughter. Anna was too tired to scold Melilla so she just went upstairs groaning.

Anna could not sleep that night. She tossed her pillow even the bed became her enemy. Roughly 4 hours, Anna couldn't get some sleep. Brooding all night finally put Anna to sleep.

The next morning, Anna was still asleep. Since it was the weekend, she slept in late. Unfortunately, she was woken up by her phone's ringtone. She picked her phone up to see who was calling her. It was Sean!

"Hello, Mr Gu! Good morning to you too", she greeted him.

Sean:Are you dressed up?"

Anna: For what?

Sean:Do I have to tell you everything thing?

Anna:" "

Sigh!

Sean: I told you last night that you were going move in with me today".

Anna: OMG!

Sean: I already sent people to help you pack your things. I will be expecting you.

He hangs up. Anna could not believe what she heard. She got off her bed and rushed downstairs, slamming the door hard.

"What's going on here?" she asked Melilla.

"How should I know? I woke up this morning found them in my house", she said as she sips her latte.

"Excuse me! Who sent you here?" Anna asked one of the workers.

"Mr Gu sent us here to help you pack all your things and move it to the Gu Mansion", he replied as he continued his work.

Anna became a rock that very instant. She was going to be his wife and Secretary. She could not imagine how her life was going to be. Like a rock, she was. Soon she was weathered by the voice of a small but cute child. Toby hugged Anna while asking, "Mommy, who are these people and why are they packing all our stuffs?"

She patted his head while saying, "We are moving to another house".

"Are we going to leave Aunt Melilla alone? Why?" he asked in a sad tone.

Anna sighed for a second and replied, "Toby, we are moving in with your father".

Confused, he asked, "Who?"

"You've been calling him your dad for a while now. You should know him", Anna replied him with a raised eyebrow.

Toby leaped for joy, "You mean your boss is my daddy?"

"Yes!" Anna replied positively. She knew how excited Toby was when he heard that Sean was his father. She didn't want to ruin her son's happy moments. For Toby's sake, she had to go with the flow.

"We will be expecting you, Mrs Gu", they all said in unison as the left her house.

"Mommy, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Toby exclaimed in joy.

"Toby seems excited, what about you?" Melilla asked as she sips her latte one more time.

Getting annoyed, Anna spilled Melilla's latte intentionally.

"My latte! Why are you so wicked?" Melilla cried, "That's was my breakfast".

"How could you drink latte during my situation?" Anna angrily asked.

"I never begged you to marry Sean. You spilled my latte!"

"No latte for you!" Anna exclaimed as she folded her arms.

Later that day, Anna and Toby finally arrived at the Gu Mansion. There was a three storey villa in the courtyard. The person inside smiled at Anna as she came out the car with Toby.

"Oh My God!" Dazed, Anna looked inside. The courtyard was wide and spacious , with a long and straight road leading in. This place was. so big that Anna couldn't see where it ended.

"Welcome, Mrs Gu! I am the well known butler in this mansion as you can see" Butler Jiang greeted with courtesy.

"You don't have to be so formal", Anna felt a little awkward.

"And why not?" a cold voice was heard all the way from inside.

Catching with that voice, Toby released his hand from Anna as he ran inside. It was too late for Anna to react. On getting inside, Anna was shocked to reminisce this scene. Toby hugged Sean and Sean hugged him back. The other staffs were shocked even the butler was taken aback by this scene.

"Mommy!" Toby ran back to his mother. He was so happy. Anna did not react to any of Toby's hugs, only did she stare at Sean. She has never seen him so happy before until now . Maybe she guessed it wrong when she said Sean doesn't care about children.

"Mommy!" Toby shook off Anna's thoughts.

"If you need anything, call Butler Jiang to attend to you", Sean said coldly as he went upstairs.

"Mrs Gu, I would like to show Little Young Master his new room", Butler Jiang said as he gently held Toby and lead him to his room.

Anna was left alone in the large living room.

"The interior design is so beautiful. Lots of work was put in place to make this house a shrine of beauty", Anna admired the house. She decided to give herself a tour around the house, she checked everywhere and admired it. Getting upstairs, she saw a room by her right, "This must be my room, I guess?" Anna pushed open the door to the room.

Immediately, she was faced with Sean's half-naked body as he stood behind the bathroom door. His lean but honey coloured body became more attractive after his shower. His muscles were balanced on his chest and arms giving him a perfect structured body.

Anna took a long time to react. He wasn't wearing any clothes. Turns out Sean was really attractive that Anna had a nose bleed.

Noticing, Sean was taken aback, "You have a nose bleed!" Anna screamed at the top of her voice. Sean walked over to her, dragging her, he brought a first aid kit. He was able to stop the nosebleed. Anna was more than embarrassed, she was devastated. Sean uttered no words as he got on the bed, not sleeping but busy on his laptop. Anna also changed and got on the bed. She slept at edge of the bed, feeling a little uncomfortable. Eventually she fell asleep.

Later that night,

Anna shivered, crying and sweating. She was having a bad nightmare. Sean held her hand to feel her pulse, she had a high temperature. Since it was already late, it won't be good to call the doctor. He could only cuddle her. Anna felt secured then fell asleep. She was like a little sheep. She was adorable when sleeping.
