Wake up.

There was an unpleasant scent in her unit and dimness she had to get used to again. She slapped the a/c few times to rush it up a bit, ate up some leftovers from earlier and nervously checked her loan payment. She should probably sell some of her stuff or she will be forced to find a second job.

As she tried to wash the bowl, she found out the water was all rusty and smelled like metal. It looks like there will be no shower today.

Anna set her alarm for 5 hours so she could make it back before the sunset, when it struck her. It's Friday today. She missed a whole workday! Completely terrified, she checked her emails and made a quick phone call to pardon her absence.

HR took it well, but can she really afford to fuck up this badly? She missed her free meal also.

Anyway, she desperately needs to sleep now.

After that, she will have 4 hours in the game until she has to go to work tomorrow. They might close the distance a bit. She hoped he would respawn at Misha, as that was the last peaceful territory they laid together. It was only like a day of walking, right?

With a quiet sigh, she covered herself with a blanket and went to sleep for at least a bit, before logging back to the game. She actually woke up well rested a few minutes before the alarm even started to ring. She drank some water and after a few unsuccessful attempts, when she tried to wear her helmet the other way round, she finally logged in.

Tameka had already packed all their stuff, all that was left to do was gather a few things and wait for the mark to appear.

Anna held the map with a desperate smile. She knows him just for a few weeks and this is not even her body, so it doesn't really matter, that he was technically her first. Yes, he is good at making her feel special and she craves his strong embrace, but there is nothing other than lust between them, right? Anna did her best to deceive her mind, but she was well aware there was much more than physical attraction.

*Here.* Tameka's finger pointed to the map. Anna quickly looked at it. That's not Misha, but it looks like a huge city and it's so far away!

"Drud Meccel? I have already heard it somewhere..," Anna mumbled and tried to think harder, while looking at that small pinkish stain. That's a huge territory, it must be the capitol of the orcs!

*I can't wait to explore all this lands!* Tameka suddenly giggled with excited smile and turned her head around to face the direction. Anna calmed a bit and nodded. It will be fine. They can take their time, there is no need to rush.

"Yeah... Let's enjoy our journey. But could we stop at this small city? It's on the line, I'll buy some decent clothes for you, Tameka. I also have to go to work tomorrow, so we might be able to reach it in a few hours and spend the night in a comfortable bed," She said and rolled the map to hide it in her inventory.

Tameka agreed, so Anna took the blessed wattle carrier on her back and they both strode out on the journey.

*I was able to calm myself down, during your absence. I think I'm able to handle myself better now, I even stopped seeing everybody as a threat.* she boasted and walked around a puddle of some dark gray slime.

*Oh, I almost forgot. Some humans came, looking for the purple loot you collected back in the wetland. I didn't like them.*

"How many were there? I was followed by 11 humans, both heavy and light fighters and there was also..," Anna tried to remember, but Tameka cut off her thoughts.

*Two healers, a dumb witch and a human priestess. And another nineteen heavy fighters from their group, your male-frog killed before they could attack you. They were no match for me, I tried to tell them but they couldn't understand and charged at us.* she jumped into her speech and continued on with light steps on green grass, stopping now and then to observe some colorful insects.

"Well, we can hope they will leave us alone from now on," She smiled at Tameka and also stopped to harvest rare herbs, startled by the fact that she had not even a scratch after fighting with all those people.

It felt like a peaceful walk, instead of a journey toward one of the most dangerous territories.

*I think they saw your things; you accumulated great riches over the few days, they will want that. We will probably see them again.*
