"The car, who did you lend it to?" I asked, although my father had a motive, I believed that he wouldn't attack Ranella Whitlock, not when he had Stephen Whitlock, his nemesis, to deal with.
"I won't tell you," Ralph said with a straight face.
"You have to," I countered.
"I won't let it go, the deed has been done and it's been months, let go of it," He said, hands akimbo.
"There is probably a serial killer in our school and you're telling me to let it go? I am not doing this just because of Ranella, I am doing this to protect the other students in the academy," I said.
"That's what you want to believe, and that's what you want me to believe, but I know deep down, that you are doing this so you can get back at whoever caused your little girlfriend pain," Ralph said, moving away from the bar and heading out of the torture room.
