Beatrice POV

"Hi, Mr.Whitlock where's Ranella?" I asked, entering the Whitlock's mansion while carrying a covered tray of baked shortcakes.

"Oh, welcome Beatrice, she went out for a while, she should be back any minute," He replied checking the time.

"Okay, I brought you guys some of my mom's shortcakes, I'll just put them in the kitchen," I said with a smile.

"You go ahead dear, Esther should be in the Kitchen," Mr. Whitlock said as he returned to reading his papers.

"Hi Nanny Esther, how are you?" I asked the old woman who was in the kitchen slicing some onions.

"Am fine my dear, how are you?" She asked with a warm smile.

"I feel Great," I replied, putting the tray down on the counter and taking an apron from the hanger.

"You shouldn't be doing that, let me help you," I said, trying to take the knife from the old lady but she was adamant on not giving it to me.
