Awake

Later, Kiyoshi awakens to find himself in the nurse's office laying in bed. He slowly gets

up and winces from pain. He looks over and notices the bandages covering his body and cast

around his arm. " Your arm will heal soon enough," says the nurse as she walks into the room. "

I'm surprised you came in here alive and with such minor wounds after taking a beating like that

from the princess." "Yeah, bro. I didn't think you would get out of there alive," a voice spoke out next to Kiyoshi, it was Lee who had almost no wounds. Kiyoshi looks over and sees Lee on the bed next to his. " After I saw her kicking your face in Ithought you were a dead man" says Lee. Kiyoshi smirks, " You know you really shouldn't cause me this much trouble on our first day at this new school" says Kiyoshi. " I know I'm sorry. I was just trying to be cool," says Lee. Kiyoshi sighs. "Thanks for saving me back there. Who would've thought such a fight would break out just because of me" says Lee. Kiyoshi looks up at the ceiling " It's fine Lee." Lee's face lights up " I promise I won't cause you any more trouble." The nurse walks towards the boys chatting holding a tray with some medicine "Here, both of you take this medication and you should be back to school by tomorrow, and Mr. Tanka please refrain from fighting for both the school's and your own safety," says the nurse. Kiyoshi just nods and goes to sleep.

The next morning as Kiyoshi lays in bed waiting for the nurse to come in to discharge him, the door opens instead it is a large man who walks into the room with a frown on his face. Kiyoshi looks over and notices its his his older brother Taro currently in the room. " So I heard you were beat by that blood sucking princess. You disgrace our family and our kind by being such a weak runt. Seems like I am the one who always has to be the pride of the family. Taro gave Kiyoshi a look of disdain with his eyes glaring down at his younger brother "Well since you are still a direct descendent of the main family I have to clean this mess up. Next time if you lose to a vampire you had better hope you get killed or i'll have the honor of doing it myself." The entire time Kiyoshi sits there holding back his anger. " You know what runt i'll give you a chance to redeem yourself. Get out of bed now and follow me!" Taro turns his back to his brother walking towards the door when Kiyoshi simply responds to his brothers orders. " No." Taro looks over eyes full of anger for a moment before his expression relaxes and he smirks at his younger brother before he walks out of the room.

Later, Lee is visiting Kiyoshi ,as he had already been released by the nurse as his wounds were not nearly as bad as his elder cousin, he and Kiyoshi are talking. " You're all over the school right now. Everyone is talking about the fight you had with Anya. Some people are saying that you were holding back though. Is it true can you really take on Anya if you tried?" Kiyoshi sips his juice and is about to give his response, when Anya kicks the door down and it flies into Lee sending him flying

outside. Kiyoshi sits there with a confused look and then finishes his juice. " What the hell is

wrong with you. Explain yourself now." Just as Kiyoshi is about to give his answer she

interrupts. " Enough, I want a duel right now, and I don't want you to hold back." Kiyoshi slowly gets up as Anya is screaming at him and leans out the window his cousin just flew through to check on him. Kiyoshi sees Lee lying there without movement and walks away from the window and continues to drink his juice. Kiyoshi turns to Anya and shakes his head declining Anya's challenge. Anya feels totally underestimated and disrespected and it shows in her infuriated expression. At that moment, she kicks Kiyoshi in his face launching him through the same window as Lee across the courtyard. He falls down and then slowly gets back up. He wipes some blood away from his lip while inspecting his juice which remained intact even after his aerial departure from the building. That is when Anya jumps down and attacks Kiyoshi full force. Anya repeatedly attacks Kiyoshi, yet all Kiyoshi does is block and remain on the defensive. " Why don't you attack me," yells Anya. " I have no reason to fight you," says Kiyoshi as he blocks another one of Anya's attacks. " You think you're better than me." Anya's anger reached its pinnacle as she felt Kiyoshi was not taking her seriously the whole time she attacked him so she starts to release her true power. Her aura shines a fierce red, matched with her hair as it waves behind her from the sheer output of her power as she yells at the sky. She attacks Kiyoshi with everything she has while Kiyoshi stands there. As her power sends the pressure towards Kiyoshi he thinks to himself " I can't believe she's so strong" He decides he needs to react seriously so he jumps onto the school roof to move away. That's when he spots Taro

watching the battle from the other side of the court yard. Kiyoshi notices his brother smiling at him and he realizes his brother must have planned this from the start. While processing the turn of events Anya flies up to the roof to chase after Kiyoshi.

" I'll make you pay for telling everybody you are stronger than me." Kiyoshi keeps

evading Anya as best as he can. " Anya it wasn't me." Bam! Anya smashes him through top side

buildings. " Lies, you filthy dog! You'll pay for your insolence." Anya catches Kiyoshi from below

and tosses him across the courtyard. He crashes and rolls onto the next roof.

Kiyoshi looks up and sees a shadow approaching him slowly from the side. Kiyoshi already knows its Taro. "Why don't you transform?" Kiyoshi stands up and stays silent. " Come on, you can take her at the first level of transformation can't you?" Kiyoshi looks at his elder brother and says, " It was you wasn't it?" "Well I told you, you would fight her one way or another. Be glad I set this up."

Anya jumps towards the location she saw Kiyoshi lands and sees another person with him when she sees its Taro her face twist with even more disgust. "What the hell do you think you're doing here?" she says to Taro. Taro laughs and says " I'm just here to see how my little brother is doing." Kiyoshi, furious with Taro, says " Why don't you tell her the truth 'big brother' ". Anya looks at them both with a confused look. Taro drops his nice guy act and turns to Kiyoshi "I gave you a chance to redeem what little pride you had left little runt, but I guess you really are just a runt." Anya also realizes the turn of events and shouts at Taro "So it was you!" Taro looks at her with disgust and simply replies "Yeah, so what are you going to do about it you filthy 'princess'?" Anya leaps at Taro, but he grabs her with one hand and smashes her into the ground causing the entire ground to break apart. "See you are no match for me you dirty blood sucker." Taro digs

his foot onto Anya's face. Anya attempts to lift it up but he just starts kicking her.

Kiyoshi watches the scene unfold and he can't stand the sight of his brother's evil way so he lunges at his brother and knocks him away from Anya.

Taro easily flings Kiyoshi away from him, and Kiyoshi lands on his feet. " You dare stand against your

family, against me!" Kiyoshi stands in silence in front of his older brother. " I give you

a chance to make up for your mistakes and you attack me for it." Taro continues to yell at his little brother but Kiyoshi stares back at Taro with unforgiving eyes giving off a killing intent without

moving an inch. He looks over at Anya to see that she is giving him a questioning look. "I'm

not fighting for you, I'm fighting for myself" just then Taro runs at Kiyoshi catching him off guard

and punches him across the face. Kiyoshi stumbles back and Taro rushes him again, but this

time Kiyoshi sees the attack and dodges. He moves under Taro's arm and rides up with an

uppercut. Taro flips backwards and lands on one knee. There's a pause, and Kiyoshi realizes

that was the first time he struck his brother. He had been holding back his anger only for it to

burst when his brother attacked him. "You're dead!" Taro roars as they rush at each other. All of

a sudden, a man appears before them. "Stop!" "I will not have you boys ruin my school."

Kiyoshi and Taro stop and see the man walk towards them. " I should have you both expelled

for all this damage." " What the hell do you think you're doing Satoshi?" Taro calls out Satoshi in a distasteful voice. " Watch your tone, boy! Just because you're the first born son of the head werewolf family doesn't mean you're safe from punishment, I am still the dean of this academy! Now remove yourself from my sight before I change my mind on holding you accountable for all this." Taro looks at Satoshi and curses under his breath before he vanishes out of sight. Kiyoshi is about to leave when he sees Taro disappear but Satoshi stops him. " Wait! Now where do you think you're going? You, on the other hand, I can punish for what you have done today. Report to my office tomorrow morning so we can discuss your punishment." Satoshi spoke towards Kiyoshi before turning to Anya who is standing up from the crater made earlier. When Satoshi walks over to Anya, he supports her up and then vanishes. Kiyoshi is left standing there still processing what had happened.

The next day Kiyoshi arrives at school and walks to the deans office and walks in.

"Welcome Kiyoshi sit down please. I have decided on your punishment. You will

have 2 months of detention." Kiyoshi sits there quietly staring at Satoshi simply accepting his fate at this point. There a few moments of silence before the Dean understands that Kiyoshi is not going to fight it and sighs softly before standing up, "Well, I guess we have reached an understanding." The school bell rings. "That is all, you are excused." Kiyoshi gets up to leave and when he gets to the door Satoshi says "I have not forgotten what your family has done to my daughter. Next time you attack her I promise you I will kill you." Kiyoshi stands there for a moment and then leaves.

Kiyoshi lets out a long sigh as he walks out of the deans office and looks at the white ceiling above. "This year is going to a long one" he thinks to himself as he is walking to class when Michio spots him. " Hey Kiyoshi I heard what happened yesterday you fought the princess and your older brother Taro right." Michio keeps talking but his voice fades away. Kiyoshi stands there half listening and walking but also thinking about the fight. Flashes of him clashing with his brother run through his head.

"I almost had him, I will defeat you Taro when the day comes I will be ready" Kiyoshi starts to come back from his thoughts and Michio's voice returns. " Yeah man people are saying you fought your older brother to protect the Princess. Kiyoshi gives Michio an odd look. " It wasn't for her." Kiyoshi simply states but Michio can tell Kiyoshi was upset by what he said. "Hey, its just a rumor I heard I didn't mean to offend you or anything. Look Kiyoshi i'm here if you need someone to talk to you alright. Well anyway I have to get to class so i'll see you later alright Kiyoshi." Kiyoshi watches Michio run off

to class. He starts walking down the hall towards his classroom. He looks down at a sheet of paper and it reads 2-B. He spots it the class and stands in front of it prepared to go in.
