Average Werewolf

Around one-hundred and ten years ago, there was a war between the werewolf and vampire clans. Many lives were lost and, even though each side hated each other, the leaders agreed that the bloodshed had to end. They signed treaty and agreed to form a prestigious academy to improve relations between the two clans. However, even with the school, the two species still hated each other. Kiyoshi Tanaka, transferred to Pax Academy, the school that holds both vampires and werewolves, in his junior year.

I'm the second son of the head of the werewolf clan. All my life I've been overshadowed by my older brother Taro. Everything I did, every time I tried to get my father's attention, it was always Taro who received what I had wanted the most. As a child, I felt overlooked and undervalued then came the day I realized I would never be able to please my father. After that, I decided I would just become an average werewolf.

Kiyoshi and a short boy with long blonde hair were walking through the academy cafeteria to a lunch table." Man don't you just love this place?" asked the boy. Kiyoshi nods and acknowledges the boy who is looking at him with a cheesy smile. This boy is Kiyoshi's younger cousin , Lee, the only son to Kiyoshi's uncle. "This school's amazing!" Lee exclaims before he lowers his voice and leans toward Kiyoshi. "Have you seen all the cute girls around here?" As he watches some girls walk by while drooling slightly from the corner of his mouth. Kiyoshi ignores his cousins perverted nature and sits down at the table. "Have you got your eye on anyone yet?" Lee ask hoping to get a reaction from Kiyoshi but his cousin stares blankly at back at him. Lee says," Come on Kiyoshi. We can be whatever we want here, don't you want to be more than just average all the time?" Lee realizes Kiyoshi isn't interested in what he is saying,"…Whatever." Lee spots two girls standing by the door. "I'll catch you later." Lee walks out of the lunchroom not touching his food and starts talking to the girls.

Kiyoshi sits at the table alone with his juice box when another student from the school approaches him. "Hey buddy, how are you? The names Michio. I noticed you're here sitting alone, mind if i sit here." Kiyoshi nods his head in approval and Michio sits down next to him. " So you're the new kid in town right? You're the 2nd son of the head of the clan." Kiyoshi

continues to sip his juice and nods his head in agreement. "Well I'm the guy to go to if you

need anything. I know the entire school inside out; the rooms, the rumors, the people, all of it. I can

even tell you what's for lunch next week." More silence from Kiyoshi. " Well I guess you're

not much of a talker are you, no big deal. It gives you that tough guy look. Anyways if you

need anything you, come find me." Just then there's a loud crash from outside. Kiyoshi and

Michio look over to see Lee tumbled over some trash cans with two vampire students

hovering over him. " Looks like that kid messed with the wrong guys." Kiyoshi slurps the last

drops of his juice and throws it out before making his way to the fight.

Kiyoshi steps outside and sees his cousin taking a beating. " You think you can get

away with flirting with our girlfriends you filthy dog!" says one of the Vampires. More punches and kicks are thrown at Lee as Kiyoshi steps towards them the second Vampire notices and says, "Hey, is this your trash?" Lee looks up at his cousin " I guess chasing after those girls was a bad idea." He chuckles lightly. Kiyoshi steps forward to retrieve his cousin when the Vampires step in front of him. The first Vampire says, " You dogs think you can go around chasing every piece of tail without consequences?" " I think we should neuter them both," the second Vampire says to the first one. The first Vampire takes a swing at Kiyoshi, but Kiyoshi easily dodges it. Then, the second Vampire goes for a couple of punches, but Kiyoshi easily dodges them. Both Vampires start to get frustrated, which causes them to both start violently swinging at Kiyoshi, but Kiyoshi still easily moves past them. Both vampires step back and glare at Kiyoshi in anger. The first Vampire says, " You damn dog! I'm going to teach you a lesson on why vampires are better than your kind." The Vampire takes a wild swing, but this time Kiyoshi dodges it and lands a blow straight in the Vampire's stomach and the Vampire falls flat on his face in the dirt. The second Vampire charges at Kiyoshi, but again he dodges the attack and grabs his arm to hurl the Vampire into the side of the building. Without Kiyoshi noticing, a crowd starts to gather at the windows. He walks over to the second vampire. The Vampire says, " Who are you?" Kiyoshi stands over the Vampire and says " I'm just another student."

Just then a stunning girl appears before him and ask him "What are you doing?" Kiyoshi responds, "I'm just here to take my cousin to the nurse." The young woman looks at Kiyoshi with anger. "You stupid dog! Look at the mess you've made. You better clean this up." The girl notices Kiyoshi with his back to her and walking towards Lee. As Kiyoshi goes to pick up Lee he feels the girl kick him in the back, launching him across the yard into a wall. The woman stands there with a smirk. " That's what you get for walking away from me." She is about to turn and walk away when she sees Kiyoshi getting up inside the cloud of dust. Kiyoshi walks out from the dust rubbing his head. The windows are crowded with students watching this fight unfold. The young girl says, " What's your name?" Kiyoshi looks at her and says, " Why do you care." The young girl looks at him " Well I guess since I attacked you first I owe you my name first. My name is Anya Nakamura. I am the president of the vampire student body. Now who are you?" Kiyoshi sighs. "My name is Kiyoshi Tanaka." Anya takes a step back surprised by the name. She quickly shakes off the surprise. " So you are apart of the head wolf clan. Well I guess that makes sense. No other student would be able to take a hit like that." Kiyoshi ask " Can I take my cousin now." Anya shakes her head " You are not going anywhere except to the headmasters office." Kiyoshi says, " I don't have time for this." He runs past Anya at such a high speed she almost loses sight of him. Kiyoshi picks up Lee and dashes into the school. Anya follows Kiyoshi. Kiyoshi sprints down the hallway trying to find the nurses office. Kiyoshi thinks in his head, (Dammit, I don't know where i'm going.) As Kiyoshi is running, he notices the nurse. He stops and runs inside, but then feels a hand around the collar of his uniform. Kiyoshi drops Lee as he is jerked backwards. Anya slams Kiyoshi into the ground. She looks down on him. Kiyoshi looks up at her. He notices her white panties. When she realizes he can see her panties she blushes, and then in anger swings her foot into his face. She continues to beat on Kiyoshi until he loses consciousness.
