You guys could think that shadow realm is pace where all negative energy of all multiverse is collected and demons should escape from the shadow realm if they want to destroy other universe and the shadow emperor is the protector who stop them from leaving shadow realm

shadow emperor are inherited and Bruce is the 8th shadow emperor.

they are all able to control shadow soldiers and each shadow emperor have unique ability which will be able to be used by shadow soldiers.
