Deacon sat at his desk, looking through old pictures of him and his wife. How he missed her. Up until now he had never given so much thought as to if his son would take after his mother. He had always assumed since she was half Lycan that, that gene would pass over their son. He hadn't shown any signs thus far of being any part Lycan; but Deacon knew that the physical changes wouldn't appear until he shifted the first time if he really was. Deacon thought about her, and tried to remember her as human. He had found her late one night mid-shift and had watched her change, before taking off into the woods. It had scared him at first, but he grew to accept it. When their son was born, he had spent countless hours watching him, finally deciding to raise him as human. Deacon sighed heavily tracing her face in the picture. A knock suddenly pulled him from his thoughts. Tyler walked in. "I'm sorry, but there's a half breed we caught downstairs. I think you need to come hear this."
"You won't find her. Your son is as good as dead." The half breed said menacingly. "What do you mean?" "She's not a half breed like us. Half breeds are made of two sets of immortal. She's only half vampire." The half breed said again. "That's it?" "And half human. You better change you're hunting tactics." "What else do you know about her?" Tyler asked, stepping beside Deacon. "I know this "bond" you're son's under.....didn't come from her. Half breeds can't create bonds, especially a half human, half vampire. Are you sure your son is human?" The half breed laughed. Deacon took a step back. Surely not. Surely Bowdey was human like him and not like his mother. "What is he talking about Deacon?" Tyler asked suddenly. "Let me guess "Hunter".....your boy isn't human is he? Have you told him? Are you human?" "Shut up!" Deacon demanded. "What was his mother?" "That's enough!" Deacon exclaimed, storming back up the stairs. Tyler followed him quickly.
2 Months Later.......
Makenna watched from the living room, floor to ceiling window, down at Bowdey. he had been running and now was busy excising. Her muscles rippled under his black t-shirt. From her point of view, she could see him dripping wet from sweat, and could see his jaw clench as he finished a set of pull-ups. He dropped to the ground with ease and took his shirt off, wiping his face with it before tossing it aside. Makenna bit her lip. His muscles were chiseled perfectly. He had been muscled before; but after the first few weeks of being stuck here, he had taken up running and working out, and it was definitely paying off. They had gotten closer and it was now becoming harder to resist being close to him. She began to picture her hands trailing down his body, feeling his muscles. Outside, Bowdey stretched his arms, grabbing his shirt and walking back towards the house. Makenna ran for the kitchen, trying to hide the fact she had been staring. When he walked inside, she never turned around. She busied herself at the bar, her back to him. He let out a small laugh, walking up beside her and grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge. "Enjoy the view?" He asked with a mischievous grin. She looked at him with a confused look. "I don't know what your talking about." She lied, trying to hide her smile. "Bull shit. I can hear your thoughts remember?" He said in a low tone, leaning down right beside her ear. She groaned suddenly, letting her head hang down. That part she had forgotten about. Bowdey laughed now as she turned to look at him, her face every shade of red. "I was just watching." "Oh come on. I know you liked what you saw." He cocked an eyebrow at her laughing.
"Think so?" Makenna asked with a smirk, as he swallowed hard. "I think you just want me to be interested in you; but don't flatter yourself. You don't do it for me." She said matter of factly. His smile was now replaced by a serious glare as he clenched his jaw tight, grabbing her neck suddenly forcing her back until she was pinned against the counter. His nose now touching hers. "I think I do. I think you can't help but stare because even though you won't admit it.....you want me as bad as I want you. You want my hands on you, feeling your body." Bowdey said slowly, his voice low and husky. She looked up at him, her eyes full of lust as he closed the distance between them and kissed her roughly. His hands moving from her throat, to her hips as he picked her up, sitting her on the counter. Makenna wrapped her arms around his neck, digging his nails in the back of his neck. Bowdey groaned into her lips, moving down to her neck, kissing and biting. Makenna's hands found their way to the waistband of his shorts as he kissed her lips again, taking a step back so she could pull his shorts down just as Maylay walked in. "Well well well...." The two separated from each other suddenly. Bowdey sighed heavily, crossing his arms and leaning against the bar across from Makenna. "Aren't you two just a basket of erotic happiness all of a sudden?" She stood looking at them with a concerned look. Bowdey sighed heavily giving her a distasteful look. "I'm...gonna go shower." He sighed again, disappearing upstairs. When he was gone she turned on Makenna. "What the hell is going on with you two? You went from trying to kill each other, to now being best friends? What's the deal" "Nothing....I...We still don't like each other." "It sure doesn't look that way." "Maylay I can't kill him when we are bound together, you know that." "Yea you also can't kill him when his tongue is down your throat and your trying to pull his junk out." Maylay said flatly as Makenna sighed, getting off the counter and heading to her room.
Makenna didn't know what was wrong with her. It had to be the bond making her feel the way she did. She had always hated him, and now they were all but hooking up in the kitchen? She sighed again as images of him filled her mind. Makenna sat back on her bed letting the images come. He was in the shower, the water hitting his back. He hands were placed shoulder width apart on the wall, his head hung down. He was breathing heavy and she didn't need to guess what he had just been doing; but the thought suddenly made her head spin. She closed her eyes slowly as a moan silently escaped.********
Bowdey groaned again. He couldn't help it, it had to be the bond. All he could think about was Makenna. Her hands grabbing his waist. He shouldn't want to be with her, not like that; but the feel of her hands on him, the feel of her lips drove him crazy. He let go of himself and groaned again as he suddenly felt her inside his head again. Her heart beating faster, and he could hear her moans as though she were right beside him. Bowdey shut the shower off and wrapped his towel around his waist. They had to figure out how to break this bond fast before he did something he shouldn't. He didn't know how much longer he could control himself when she was thinking what she was about them, and doing the things she was currently doing.
