A young girl named Izayia is forced into hard work at a community factory of the poor. Along the way she makes friends who ultimately help her change the lives of all of those forced into work by the rich.

Work went by fast. Faster than usual. When I got back to the alley way I sat down against the wall. 'I'm so tired.' I told myself. Mother came over to me.

"Are you alright Izayia?" she asked me

I looked up at her half alseep. "No."

"What's wrong?"

"I'm worried about Zennith, I'm mad because we can't find the necklace and I'm tired."

"I'm sure Zennith is ok and we will find your necklace. You should get some rest, I will wake you when supper is served."

"Thank you mother." I said hugging her.

I walked over to our resting spot and layed down. The next thing I remember is being woken by my mom.

"Izayia, it's time to eat."

I sat up looking around. I barely see anything because my eyes were blurry. Before speaking I cleared my throat. "What's for supper?" I asked.

"The same old thing sadly."

"Why am I not surprised."

"Yeah I'm not either."

I got up and got our 'meal'. At this point, everything felt the same as usual, and now I realize how boring it is.

After I was done eating I decided to walk around for a bit. I would always walk outside the alley for a bit when I had the chance. The fresh air felt nice and cool against my face. It was beginning to get dark out. I looked up towards the sky. The stars were just beginning to come out. I walked around a bit longer before deciding to head back to the alley. Right before I reached the alley I heard a voice say "alley" very softly. I turned around and a symbol glowed very brightly in the stars. I racked my brain on where I had seen it before. 'The mark!' I exclaimed to myself. More stars began to illuminate the sky. Out of the corner of my eye is saw a dark shadow move quickly and disappear. I began to feel uneasy so I headed back to the allley way.

My mother was propped up against the wall half alseep.
"Are you okay mom?"
"Yeah," she wiped dried tears from her eyes.
"I just need rest. It's been a long day for me and I need some rest."
"Alright."
I sat down next to her and fell alseep.
The only thing that I remember is having a dream, at least I think it was a dream. It was about Talla. She walked to me and woke me up. She placed the necklace she gave me next to me. "Don't loose this." she said laughing and began walking away. But when she walked away she changed. A hollowing pure light radiated off her and she seemed to look younger than before. When Awoke in real life it was my mom.
"It's time to get up."
I sat up, and laying on the ground, right infront of me was the necklace.
"Did you find this mom?" I asked as I picked up the necklace.
"Find what?" said looking at the necklace in my hand.
"No? I thought you did."
"No?"
"Are you ok Izayia?"
"Yes, but I just don't understand."
"Understand what?"
"I had a dream last night about this and how Talla gave it to me."
"Wasn't Talla the one to give it to you?"
"Yes, but it was here, in the alley. She crouched down next to me and layed it on the ground."
"Izayia, no one was here last night."
"But mom!"
"It must've been a nightmare."
I remained silent knowing I was accused wrong. Am I crazy? Was it really a dream? If it was then, why did it feel so real? I moved the necklace around in my hand. I shook my head, placed the necklace where I know I would never loose it and headed to work.
