"You have no shame." He spat on the ground and glared at me like I was some whore.
"I never wanted to marry you, Darryl; you know better that we don't have any relationship between us. So don't treat me like I was some whore." I yelled at him.
His brows crinkled, wobbling his head at me. I could see the disgust in his eyes.
"Get in." He shrieked at me, opening the car's door.
"I want to visit my parents," I mumbled.
"There is no way I'm taking you there. Get inside the car." He squealed.
"Never; why can't I visit my parents after you've brought me to your sick parents' house." I groaned.
"What did you say?" His demeanor was frightening, and it was as though he was going to strangle me to death.
I rolled my eyes, pretending like I didn't utter any words.
"Did you call me sick?" His father's voice interrupted, and before I could veer to take a glance, I felt his hand strike my face the second time.
